I recall when Cindy emptied out Casey's purse and there was a LE women office their...Cindy grabbed the money and her credit cards. I thought LE grabbed an item also and Cindy said she didn't recall what it was.

Question: Could it have been an ID for ZFG that LE grabbed? Sorry if this has been hashed over. What is your opinion as to what it was?

As to your question, I can't be sure. But having watched the behavior of her parents, I am much less inclined to attribute each and every thing Casey is and has done to whatever disorder she is diagnosed with. Because, imo, the A's are so lacking in character first, and parenting skills second, we'll never know how much of what Casey became was nature and how much was nurture.

I don't think it's wise to scream from the rooftops that the Caseys of the world can't be helped by their parents, no matter what. There are a percentage of people who are born bad, but no one knows what that percentage really is. There's danger, imo, in painting difficult children with too broad a "can't be helped" brush.

Sadly, some don't even care.

It's way easier to just give in then to keep to your word about discipline & be consistent.

My guess? the Anthony's (one or all) who in turn have to pay Jose his legal fees. It's probably in a contract somewhere.

I'm sure the court would appoint an appropriate attorney for her. It's in the courts best interest to avoid appeals if possible. I think Jose has probably promised her her freedom (not that he can deliver with 100% certainty) and she probably believes him. He has really shown his ineptitude in the hearings we have seen so far. Just his public speaking leaves alot to be desired.

As much as I would like to see Baez represent Casey at trial for my pure amusement, I think she needs a more qualified one for a case as serious as this. I would think most public defenders would have more trial experience than Baez. I smelled a rat with Baez early on and so did the Anthony's before they jumped on the gravy train. I'm wondering if Casey was incarcerated from her initial arrest until 8/21 who would have provided the actual photos for the licensing fees. Light bulb moment, it must have been the Anthony's because she was in jail. They are all knee deep in muck. IMO. Poor Caylee :rose:

Jose Baez may have seen his client as his shining star and rise to the 'greatness', but I truly don't think it is going to be that way in the end. Would he retain the 'rights' to the materials that Casey signed over to him? Would the 'next' attorney be handed ownership...? Or how would he/she get paid?

JL, because you are not evil. Casey is evil. Your admitting that you don't feel things to the same level as others is proof you KNOW your failings and do your best to overcome them. Yes, I remember the defense "experts" at the Spector trial being asked how much they were being paid. Don't know if they were asked who was paying them (I heard after the trial that some of them had not been paid). At least Spector had some visible means of making money. KC doesn't. Since someone has brought this to the attention of the State, there must be some reason for it. JMO

I'm not sure the prosecution would accept a plea of accident at this point. I think they have evidence that this was no accident and what I want to see is a trial for Murder. Casey doesn't deserve a lesser sentence, IMO.

I have noticed ever since Judge Strickland made that comment to JB about turning the news on at night and seeing his expert witnesses speaking.....none have been on since. Casey already stated she wasn't in court because of Jose. I also believe like you that Jose is trying to keep her away from everyone......IMO I really think this isn't going to go to trial......Casey is getting antzy - no way does she want to be moved and sit in another jail for a year......she feels she has outsmarted everyone and Jose is telling her she will walk....he is a snake.....JMOO

That would be my first guess. I really get the idea the A's don't like JB anyway. If he is getting all the $$, then I know that is rubbing them the wrong way. I heard tonight that ABC pd JB $200,000. It had been reported way back when that the A's got $200,000., but if that $ actually went to JB, I know they are :cursing:. JMO

NG just played the tape where Casey said she was so frustrated she couldn't swallow.

NG's response was "well all those snacks have got to be going somewhere".


Didn't she just say she was asleep when they came to visit? Got up at 5 then back to sleep.
Now she can't even swallow? That came on fast!
