The prosecution seemed very together, well prepared, and professional. Baez clearly was irritating them. He talks and the words come out, but they don't make a whole lot of sense to me.

You are welcome. I take care of my elderly dad at times through out the day, mother too... and they just yelll heyyyyyyyy.. I have to be able to hear that. Also the phone is important. So, its not safety you have to worry about. Which was my main concern when I first began using them.

IMO if those pics show up in public ....they will be able to follow the money and also will be able to see when Baez people accessed the site.

I caught that too! Did anyone else notice when they did the timeline that NOBODY believed Casey's nanny story at first? NONE of them seemed to believe her. I caught that too! Did anyone else notice when they did the timeline that NOBODY believed Casey's nanny story at first? NONE of them seemed to believe her. It depends on what time they were let out beforehand. I have 3 dogs and I work an 8 hour day. They don't run to the backdoor when I get home.

As for a conspiracy, nothing in this case surprises me. I would not have thought anything of it where the girlfriend feeding the dogs is concerned if the family weren't asking for immunity and the state (reportedly) not considering charges against Lee.

I heard him say that and was confused by the remark. It sounded as though Casey had signed over Caylee's remains to him, not to C&G. Guess it's understandable from a defense POV as far as the 2nd examination of the remains, but just seemed weird to me.

From the baez's motion for a special master, it was clear that LE already had the scoop on the tape by Dec. 24th.

There was a hearing scheduled for January 15. During today's hearings, the Prosecution reminded Judge Strickland she would not be available on that date. I do not recall a new date being set. jmo

They often do that but it's just put on over the outer clothes.

I think if she knew she was going to have to make an appearance she could have at LEAST bought some of those atomic fireball candy and put some color on her lips! She looked like hell and I am thrilled.

Hmmm. You might be right. It might be a bulletproof vest. I didn't think of that, but she does look thick around the mid-section. I am not saying she's fat by any means.. she is just larger than she used to be.

When she was sitting at the defense table and we are all adults here, so I hope CW doesn't mind this comment.. but her chest looked pretty visible and large... Would her womanly "assets" be visible through a bulletproof vest?

I don't see any weight gain but it is hard to tell with that beautiful outfit she has on.
But I just don't see it in her face.

I didn't see any significant weight gain either. I am wondering if the image on the computer looked different than the one on TV. To me, her hair was a little messy but looked clean and she does have a complexion problem. She also looks like she is not sleeping well. Frankly, I don't know how she can sleep at all! Being shackled and cuffed, she was not standing straight either which tends to make a person look bunchier.

Just my two cents worth.... I had to go back and look at one of the first photos of CA in the courtroom. I noticed something particularly interesting in today's images. She sort of looks to me like she's crossing her arms over across her stomach, unlike at the beginning.

I honestly think they snuck him into town and he looked at the remains before they left the ME's office, IMO. I also think that Caylee may actualy be at a different funeral home, that is what I would do, if I was responsible for her secruity.

OMG she is hiding her belly. I know Casey is concerned about her appearance on the little screen, but I have to say as did earlier posters she does look like a hobbit. Its the ears...YIKES. Also pic 23 looks very eery

It's the backdoors that I worry about. Just as the defense is claiming that there is no "proof" that it was Casey searching the web for chloroform, neck breaking, etc. they can just as easily claim that there is no "proof" someone didn't break into Baez's office or something ridiculous like that and break into the website.

I think they should just make physical copies and have them hand delivered and order them destroyed after viewing because unless they put a stipulation that the website be destroyed after viewing, there is nothing to prevent those pictures from making their way to the public after the trial is over. That's why I am wondering if Baez or the family would profit from the pics being sold because of the licensing of her name.

I don't think they can destroy them, they are evidence in the case.
I think their fear is that some lowly little clerk or secretary will get access to them and see $$$. I don't think the Anthonys have any intentions of selling them to anybody. Where on earth did that rumor come from? Oh, yeah... NG.
I watched this hearing today on HLN, and got a much better overview from the attorney from Miami, Mark E. (can't spell his last name.) He was able to explain things a lot clearer.
What I gathered is, the prosecution REFUSED to hand over these photos and x-rays, etc. because they "assumed" Baez would not protect them and they would be released to the tabloids for money.
The judge says that it is part of the discovery, and Baez is entitled to these reports and pictures so that he can prepare his case.
MO... the prosecution is playing the same silly little games that they accuse the defense of doing! I've seen this happen in a lot of cases, and it's why some of them take so long to get to trial, because of all the delays and the motions and the evidentiary hearings that are necessary because they don't cooperate. MO.
This idea of putting these things on a secure website seems to be the best solution they can come up with so far. Baez can't fly all these experts in and put them up in hotels for the amount of time it would take them to complete their examination of the ME's reports, which would take hours or even days. Neither can they afford to hire a security guard to accompany the reports all over the country to the various experts home base, one at a time. (This from Mark E. on HLN.)
This is a lose-lose situation, no matter how you look at it.

The thing that I noticed was how confident she sounded when the Judge asked her a question. Most people would barely speak, but she spoke with authority. She also smiled several times and laughed at least one time. One would have thought she would have at least tried to appear worried. JMO

Yeah, it's really variable throughout the country. I did notice there are no cosmetics on the commissary list so I don't know if they are allowed. Hair coloring is also something that is not allowed often.

vests arent "v" neck .. they are not "scoop" neck ... they are whatever you call a mans white undershirt/tshirt. (you can tell when cops were them... men and women alike.

LOL, very good point, but it's just easier to get the armor off after going through common areas without having an inmate completely undress.

I tuned in when they were having the sidebar, about 45 minutes after the hearing started, and it seems like it was shortly after that. He didn't mention any names but it was obvious that he was aware that Henry Lee had been making statements on TV.
