Go back and read EVERY post I have written about this... I am NOT BLAMING THE METER READER GUY For CAYLEES DEATH!!!

All I am saying is that I find it odd that he didn't stay there and wait or go after he was off work to point it out to police back in AUG if he felt it was something so important as to notify the police 3 times..... Or open the bag..

that is all I am saying. I think if he had done that they would have possibly had her little body back in Aug.
He knew it was something.. He called the police 3 times.....then he gave up!!!

Well they did say that the mother would be notified before it was announced to the public.

the meter business does not change the car evidence, the Casey lies, the phone records, the hair evidence, or anything else.
and in my opinion the meter reader tips are nothing bad. glad to know people do call in tips. that's what tip lines are for.

Maybe Casey looked some things up, about Dogs and crime scenes in books that would not necessarily be in a computer search?

I don't think this is going to be much of a break for the defense. I heard that cadaver dogs cleared that area or something where the body was found, but the cadaver dogs also smelled something on the Anthony's property when the police searched there and wasn't there a big question by the defense about these cadaver dogs. Imo I think to say there was no body there or something because the cadaver dogs cleared it I think would be damaging to the defense because to say the dogs were right, I think opens the door for the prosecution to counter cadaver dogs also alerted LE on Anthony's property.

I think that is something to think about.

I think people are making too much of this and instead should refocus on Caylee.
Thank goodness the meter reader called in tips when he saw things that made him feel hinky. I don't care if he called in 50 tips on 50 different colored bags, at least he was trying to be aware.

ITA. In the space of four months, there is absolutely no telling how many bags containing trash have been thrown here, there & everywhere.

It's all fine & good to say the area should have been scoured - but at the time the investigation started, Casey was telling everyone that Caylee did not go missing FROM that area in the first place.

Plus - if you run a straight line from the Anthony house to the site & find out it is less than 1/2 mile - that is only ONE direction it COULD have been. There are 360 degrees in a circle. If you put the Anthony house as the center, that left 359 degrees of OTHER directions than the site of the bag.

It is not reasonable to claim or be assured that the bag found was the bag reported in August. Nor is it reasonable to suggest that the area was the only obvious area to search.

My hunky attorney Jason Friedman (who was on with Lisa Bloom this morning) just told me in an email that he is going to be commenting on this case on Fox after the presser.
Jason was an ADA in the Brooklyn DA's office and is now a partner in a law firm specializing in personal injury. He's very nice and twice as handsome.

Exactly. Someone here posted recently that they believed the spectacle of the Spector experts should have been the impetus for change in forensic expert testimony and boy do I feel the same. Jane Weintraub the other night castigated Joshua Perper (sp) proclaiming these experts aren't supposed to carry bias. It will be interesting to see if that has changed.

Yes, and selfish as it sounds, I am praying for closure for many of us who have gathered together here everyday for 6 months because of concern for Caylee.

Who could have dreamed it would affect so many of us so deeply?

I tried to say good-bye and let Caylee go when LP and Richard Grund had the prayer service for her in Blanchard Park, but I just didn't feel like I could let go at the time.

I am not saying that we care more for Caylee than her own family, but she has come to mean something very profound to many of us here. Caylee will never be forgotten, and I do pray that something wonderful will come out of this tragic loss of a little one's life.

I will be pondering the meaning and message of Caylee's life for a long time to come.

Of course, the trial will be riveting as well.

So, I don't think this board will be saying good-bye to one another for quite a while yet. I do hope to now be able to let Caylee go. She deserves to lifted up out of the mud and other earthly concerns, free to soar with the angels.

I don't know how it's handled it FL but It seems that if the NOK has to be notified before the release, casey would have known already. I aldo don';t know if the anthonys will be notified as a courtesy, but has anyone seen any activity around their home? Once again, I think they would have been notified ahead of a PC as well.

We must be real close.....same here...I'm right up the road from the Wendy's that they said Trenton was that morning with his mother...I'm also about 45 minutes from The Anthony's...What's up with this area...

Also not to far from where Jessica Lundsford was murdered and about 2 hours away from where Carley Briscia was murdered...

That's why I keep a close watch on my grand kids....Central Florida breeds some crazy's....

I think they will say the cadaver dogs were wrong all the way around. They'll use the fact that the dogs didn't make a hit in the area the body was found (and if correct that was cleared by the dogs) to show that fact. MOO too ;)

I'm not saying it will work....just saying they'll question how does the dog hit on an old scent and not find the actual source of the scent just 1/4 mile away. And maybe the prosecution and dog handlers will have a reasonable explanation. Again MOO ;)

But if the dogs were wrong both times. That means there was a body in that area so I don't know it could go both ways, but then again it's not like this is a circumstantial case. They have evidence and I think that is going to be the factor that convicts Casey. I don't think she is going to get away with this murder charge because of canine error or human error, I think she will be convicted because of all the evidence in this case.

My thoughts and sympathy go out to Caylee's grandparents and other family today. Well, not to Casey...but to everyone else that knew & loved Caylee and those around the world that grew to love her after she was reported missing.

I don't think this is going to be much of a break for the defense. I heard that cadaver dogs cleared that area or something where the body was found, but the cadaver dogs also smelled something on the Anthony's property when the police searched there and wasn't there a big question by the defense about these cadaver dogs. Imo I think to say there was no body there or something because the cadaver dogs cleared it I think would be damaging to the defense because to say the dogs were right, I think opens the door for the prosecution to counter cadaver dogs also alerted LE on Anthony's property.

I just want to say about the Meter Reader and his original tips. I didn't see all the reports on this so correct me if I am wrong of if this has been discussed already today, but calling in a tip may mean that he called in and offered that woods as a POSSIBLY important place to search due to the close proximity to Casey's house. Did it say he actually saw a bag? Also, he may have called three times because he was probably curious as to what they found if anything. I'm sure when you call in a tip they don't call you back to say, "Hey guess what we didn't find anything" or "Guess what, we found a body". Maybe he thought he could ask what was found and when they said they couldn't release any information he just simply repeated his original tip? Is any of that possible. I'm sure some here are much more informed and could slap me back into reality if I'm wrong. Thanks!!

2. I gave you a perfectly reasonable explanation for why he didn't hang around for an hour or two waiting for a deputy--- HE WAS WORKING. And even if not working--- it's not unreasonable to give up and think "Well, I've called it in."

3. You are assuming it's the same bag. We know that at least one of the tips was in regard to a GRAY bag and the body bag is BLACK. I am of a mind that he likely called about different bags in August.

There is absolutely no evidence to support the idea that the meter reader found the body bag in August.

Reasonable doubt and a NG verdict in a case with so much against this defendant would mean that the jury wanted to give her a break. Why would any jury want to give this odious creature a break? The day her daughter was "kidnapped" she was in Blockbusters, arm in arm with her BF picking out a video. Then there's the array of photos of her livin' it up in Fusian. And the Bella Vida tat. And not reporting Caylee missing for over a month. And then her snotty attitude and total self-absorption on the phone while in jail.

How was the family notified - Dr. G. protocol - next kin is in jail, jail notified and a chaplan tells prisoner. They also tried to reach out to the grandmother and she was notified.

Dr. G's office protocol - Release needed from next to kin; or authorize someone in her family; body then released to funeral home and it is up to the family to request a 2nd autopsy.

Dr. G a large part of the skeleton was recovered. Bones for a child this size can be the size of a pebble. She is very impressed with what has been recovered.

How did family & Casey react - Sheriff does not know.

Tox test not complete do you have a timeframe? Dr. G - the specimens are with the toxicologist - part done at FBI and part done at Univ of FL. She does not know a time line.

What items were found? Sheriff cannot talk about the evidence.

It speaks volumes that people who deal with this so often in this case, Dr. G and Tim Miller on a interview on Fox that this case, CAYLEE ANTHONY has broken through the emotional barrier that they must require in what they do. IMO.

So sad.......What a fine team this has been..... Casey doesn't have the dream team Caylee did. in all the FBI ,LE, OCSO.Tim Miller,TES , Melich, Allen, Mike Savage, Dr.G and Yes even LP. PROS Office, The 100's of searchers.... NO Little Caylee had the dream Team....Casey's team is the nightmare.

Caylee's team just like Caylee had pure motives and though no one wanted to find her dead, she will have peace.

I would think the only parts missing now are tiny tiny hand and finger bones. Growth plates are etremely tiny
