"If The Ten Commandments Are Displayed In A Public Park, Why Not Display The Seven Aphorisms?"

In its lawsuit, Summum says, “The rights of plaintiff Summum are violated when the defendants give preference and endorsement to one particular set of religious beliefs by allowing the Ten Commandments monument to remain in a public park or in a forum within the public park supported by taxpayers and disallow a similar display of the religious tenets of Summum.”

this community opened this can of worms, once you allow a Hugh statue of one religion, all religions are gonna wanna have one - the government can not endorse one religion over another

There are some weird Religions out their, folks.
Example:
Perverts, who rape/sodomize children, in the name of Almighty God.

FLDS, Waco cult, any number of cults where the primary religious tenant (aside from the usual, "Only we have the truth and will be saved") is that the leader gets to have sex alot - yeah, there are weirder and less weird religions. Especially in terms of what we should give legal and governmental recognition to.
Where to draw the line is a question - but I do think there is a definite line between some insane cult set up around allowing the leader and cronies to have sex with lots of little children, and a church whose beliefs hurt no one, like the Unitarians, Wiccans, etc.
