Today's article says that it could take years to resolve.

as I said on the other thread: if Mexico may consider LWOP cruel and unusual punishment for the murder of the young woman and her baby; I wonder what kind of sentence a double murderer gets in their country?

And he is in jail in Mexico, isn't he? I doubt the Mexican authorities would like to have him free in their communities. It may take awhile to get him back here - but I like to think he will not be comfortable while he is in Mexico.

They usually let them out in about 25 years or less.

Don't they have really bad prisons in Mexico? I hope he loses and gets to come back and face the DP.

To even get the extradition this far NC had to agree not to go for the death penalty. He is charged with one count of First Degree murder. They have lately let others come back that would be facing LWOP.
Mexico also frowns on anyone being returned that may go before a military tribunal. I am sure all those things have already been worked out by the DA/USMC and the Mexican government.

Poor Baby,

All of a sudden North Carolina isn't good enough for him. LOL

I do believe he is too hot for Mexico to keep, but I guess time will tell.

Chicken Poop! That he is.
