See you tomorrow when there'll be candy corn for all! barf
Night...sleep well. Hopefully see you tomorrow! I'm right behind ya.

I agree and i think its horrible that she would bring innocent people into this. Its too bad that Cindy doesnt have a daughter that she can call a "good girl". She wants to bring Casey's friends down to the level of her own daughter. Its not gonna work. I think Cindy and George lying and covering for Casey is not gonna go un-answered when this is all said and done. And i have to add this........i still think it was a negligent accident as to what happened to Caylee and i think its the only reason C & G r lying and covering for Casey. But if i'm wrong in thinking it was an accident, then i am inclined to think that Casey made C & G believe it was an accident.......thus the cover-up. JMO
I don't want to snip...but I want to "highlight" this statment:
"Its too bad that Cindy doesnt have a daughter that she can call a "good girl"..."
IMO, she had a "good girl" and Casey removed her from the equasion. I believe had that been a sister instead, Casey may have been likely to attempt to help her have an accident or attempt to "sully" her good rep. with tall tales and planted evidence of misbehaviors...at least an adult sister would have stood a chance.
I have always felt Jealousy of Caylee was one component in Casey's end actions.

I must disagree.
I do agree Cindy implicated Amy because Amy decided to press charges.
But there is no way Cindy offered to pay Casey's debt to Amy.
Cindy stole money out of her own daughter's wallet while the police were literally feet away from her.
true LS.....she did steal potential evidence.
but IMO I see her giving lip service to Amy. at that point, she was all onboard with the abduction story.....certainly she would want to avoid anything negative...well, she tried her best as evidenced by all of her sitdowns...

That was so bizarre. HOW could a grandmother be concerned about MONEY at a moment like that? At that point Casey let the police show up ..Cindy KNEW Caylee was NOT safe.
Kinda lets of know what Cindy really cares about doesn't it. Also shows she could care less what LE thinks. And lets us know where Casey learned to take what she wanted no matter who it belonged to.

ITA, and I've heard the phrase "save Casey mode" quite a bit since July on this board...and I can see that happening, but I've become a lot less "open-minded" concerning the Anthony's over the past several weeks as I'm sure many others have as well. "Save Casey mode" is still glorified lying and I believe it will eventually result in more arrests besides Casey in the coming future. Lying under oath won't be winked at either...
I absolutely agree. There is a 3 year old out there missing and there is no excuse for lying to authorities, which I believe G&C have. Regardless of whether they are trying to protect Casey or not. It's not fair to Caylee, it's not fair to LE (local police, state police and the FBI) and it is not fair to the tax payers of Florida.. LE has been sent in a zillion different directions on a wild goose chase.
If LE can prove Cindy, George and/or Lee lied in a statement signed under oath, then I hope they nail them to the wall. I have always thought that if Cindy, George and/or Lee were arrested on charges stemming from false statements or whatever else (if anything).. they have done illegal.. then they will spill what they know.. until that time, I expect them to throw out more lies on top of lies.

True, but at that time Casey had not yet been charged and Amy didnt know for sure who did it. When it got serious and Casey was facing charges, I truly believe she offered to pay it and get Amy to back down. Just like she attempted to do with the Tow yard employees.
hey bratlings,
yes, forgot about the tows...
IMO, the anthonys had no clue this was going to go on this long (an abducted caylee would be returned).....I will give them the total amount of time it took for LE to find out that Casey was lying about everything as a starting point for their 'belief'...
once they were advised she was lying...goodness, she had NO JOB FOR 2 YEARS....and the phone in work, and her non-office, and and and....
well...
they simply didnt know tons of information would surface in the media. its obvious their campaign to 'defend casey' took on a life of its own because they had no clue information would be presented to counter their claims.

Where did you ever get the notion Casey used birth control? Has Casey ever been to an OBGYN before her 8th month of pregnancy? Has she been since her postnatal checkups? I see no indication of any planning, prevention or health/wellness intervention by Casey.

Her bones could be in a container in that house. By now, they could have all arranged at some point to bring her home. She would have fit inside a small cooler. Sad to say; sorry to be graphic but I have such a problem that thier home, crawl space attic and basement have not been "searched fully" with them OUT of the house. It's too late now.

Where is the decomp fluid in your scenario? If Casey's car reeked so badly___after several weeks____ why doesn't any home, crawl space, attic, basement smell enough for Lenny, LE, or others to sniff? Is the small cooler air tight and able to contain its contents for extended period of time?

This was discussed on NG tonight but I only half way paid attention to that part.. NG unleashed her lawyers and they didn't seem to think there was much of a difference between a POI title and a "suspect" title.. but NG did.
I just looked for the transcript of tonights show and it's not out yet.
IIRC, Nancy said it upped the ante a little.. and that a "suspect" would have more rights as far as questioning by LE than a POI.. but that really didn't effect Casey since she's already lawyered up and zipped it. Something like that?! Maybe someone here reminds what was said better than I do.
IMONancy irritated me tonight on this subject. I remember months when everything was Drew Peterson. Lots of THs were commenting on how "POI" had become the popular term for LE to use as opposed to "suspect. They were basically saying to just call a spade a spade. Of course DP was the suspect. Same thing, different term. (Of course, I'm glad LE has finally used the S word) I'm pretty sure nancy was on this bandwagon, too. But she was all different tonight.

Yip she really went over the line with that one. I think she lost all respect by pulling that stunt. Then you add to the fact she was SUPPOSE to be trying to find Caylee. You would of thought she would of ran to LE and said "Hey I do not have time for any Zaneida bull etc........What can I do to help you find Caylee?" If she thought Caylee alive at that point.....she could kill 2 birds with one stone.....find Caylee AND get Casey off the hook for at least concerning future murder charges. Pretty simple if you ask me!
After she bad mouthed Tim Miller and got so many mad at her you would think she'd learn. But not Cindy.

Caylee’s Law would hold parents accountable. It would make it a crime for not reporting your child missing after 24 hours. If my child was missing, I would call instantly. We need accountability, otherwise, parents will continue to cause harm to their child(ren) and people need to stand up for what they believe in.
Sure, there’s a memorial site to honor Caylee, but isn’t a law, designed to protect children from future incidents, serving a better purpose in making sure people never forget 3-year-old, Caylee Marie Anthony?

You used to make me feel sorry for you thinking you were all alone in the word and just a misfit. But then I rethought my position and I realized you are just a misadjusted, misfit who want's so very much to fit in somewhere, anywhere that you chose to put yourself in the Casey Anthony case. And, because you are such a misfit, you decided to make yourself out to be someone who can speak with "authority". Even though that's a joke in this case. It makes you feel good and validates your nic. How sad. Those of us who post on Caylee's forum care about Caylee. You, seem more concerned about your own ego and your own somewhat "cryptic' posts, and I say that kindly, because they are mostly childish. Your bizarre manner of posting as an absolute desolves any credibilty that you may seek to have and makes you a target of random ridicule. Actually, you make yourself a target of ridicule. Of course there is.
The reason is... there never was a Blackjack phone for Casey to have in her possession.
Another Casey fabrication.
If the separate account existed/the blackjack phone - then phone calls from that number/phone would have showed on Ricardo, Amy, Brittany and TonE's, etc.. phone records.. which to my knowledge has never been discussed or released in the doc drops.
Therefore I definitely do NOT think the blackjack exists. It was an excuse that Casey came up with to explain why there would be no record of phone calls from her to the nanny, IMO.
Or it could be another one of her elaborate lies which really have no value at all. Just more baseless lies fabricated because.....?? she can't help herself and she's a pathological, psycho liar?

Hey lostgirl,
There have been a few revelations the last few days. Yes, she has now accumulated an upgraded status with LE -- she's now a "SUSPECT", not a "person of interest". Also, Sheriff Beary stated a few days ago that they are working on a difficult "homicide case" - when a reporter asked him what he'd like to say to people complaining about why it is taking so long for them to charge her with murder.
So LE definitely think Caylee was a victim of a homicide.. and they are calling Casey the prime suspect.
Also, one of the local Orlando websites stated that they have heard through their sources that Casey is expected to be charged in connection with Caylee's murder within the next few weeks. (the link to that article is in the links thread -- the 2nd to last page..sorry I am too lazy to go and grab it for you).
Also, LE searchers went out to two locations today to search for Caylee's remains. An eye witness claims she saw a car similar to Casey's at a certain area by the Orlando airport and a girl wearing a baseball cap - heading out into a wooded area. The other location is near Amscot & the Anthony home.. where cell phone pings from Casey's phone were pin pointed.
I hope that helps.

I have been looking for you. I got a question.. There was some debate on here about whether or not evidence used in Casey's child neglect trial can be used in a murder trial against her. Some people were saying it could NOT be used, but I don't think that's right.. Can you spare some insight into this?
(by the way, I didn't see any evidence that a blackjack was purchased, just that a large sum of $ was paid to ATT -- I assumed it was to pay for her cell phone bill, not a phone.. I could be wrong..)

Well okay he loved and cared about Caylee, So what is that HIS BAD?
Then it changed to Caylee is in danger, the kidnappers are being watched.

I believe I saw in one of those phone bills of Casey's that she had made a $500.oo dollar payment. We know she spent about that much at AT&T (correct?) so I dont think she did actually buy a phone like it has been surmised by the amount she spent there.
Right. I agree.. and didn't she pay for the AT&T bill with one of Amy's checks? If so, how did she expect to get away with it?

IMO, these young adults were hesitant to say they owned a lighter, for goodness sake. some went to school, some worked and went to school, some just worked and they all partied.
amy and casey were not life long friends...they hardly knew each other. fast friendship that ended with a missing child and major theft. she cleaned her out....that's pretty scary stuff thinking she would be able to lie out of that?
that's what the world at large is up against when dealing with Casey A....the jaw drops if one has never encountered that persona....well, it still drops even when you recognize the deficiency....
Im more interested in Kristine Chester's interview. surely they interviewed her.
best regards,
Pru
Amy considered herself a good friend. I thought Amy knew Casey for several years? Amy let Casey stay with her for several weeks. I thought they all hung out as a group? Casey was invited on the PR trip per Troy's interview.
Lauren, Ryan and Britney knew Casey for many, many years. They all described her as a mom that loved her child. She stole from her grandparents, parents, brother and long time friends.
Casey had successfully lied her way out of everything, her whole life. Why would she think this time would be any different? IMO, Casey thought she'd lie/lay her way right out of LE's interview at Universal Studios. Nothing has changed her MO judging by her 'friendship' with Baez. JMOO tho

Sociopaths are beyond accurate when describing thease people.
Also I give alot of credit to Nancy Grace, it seems to me she has been the only tv journalist who is really being honest and not letting this case being "swept under the rug" and not going away from the spotlight. I mean a missing baby and no one gets prosecuted, if Nancy Grace doesn't cover this story. IS how I see it. She is by far my favorite tv journalist by far.

She sits there blabbing on and on and on with detail after detail about that long winded BS story of Casey, Juliet Lewis, Zanny and the 2 kids on that business trip.. hotel rooms, staying over an extra night, car crashes, Zanny and her sister or whatever in hospital with broken limbs etc etc, Casey standing vigil at the hospital, Zannys mom notified and on her way... YAP YAP YAP
Then the cop finally tells her "THAT IS ALL A LIE" no car crash, no hospital, no business trip, NO ZANNY period! no Juliette Lewis.. etc etc...
and Cindy is totally unfazed hearing this... she just looks at him like uh huh.. and,, and carried on!
If that was me and I was just told that the ENTIRE huge story i just related to the cops was a LIE from start to finish.. i would be LIVID!.. I would want to know DETAILS of how they determined it was a lie, I would be ANGRY at my daughter, I would be frustrated at the thought of having been played... and so on and so on.

Double jeopardy attaches to the evidence of the acts/conduct, and not the charge. The easiest case to explain it (I posted the link to the case a while ago, I don't have the link handy right now) ... A man was charged with arson, another man was killed in the fire. After the perp was tried for arson, the State tried to file charges for felony murder ... the case was dismissed on the grounds of double jeopardy ... the evidence that proved arson was the same evidence to prove the felony murder, and jeopardy attached to that evidence in the arson trial.

I don't recall whether or not Lee said anything about Casey's lying, but I do remember Cindy saying it. It could have been in a newsreport, or maybe on a tv interview. She told Amy, she suspected Casey didn't have a job, yet she describes this involved business trip, with her employer footing the bill for child care plus hotel rooms for the nanny and children! I think after the 911 call with LE all over the place that is when they realized how serious it all was and how much trouble Casey was in. AND that is when the tide turned and especially Cindy stated on a downward spiral thinking she could save Casey. Problem is it is impossible to save both Caylee and Casey......you can only do one or the other. That is what Lenny found out. As it turns out Cindy has helped neither.
Why did she make the 911 call? It didn't start out about Caylee it was about money and a car. It hasn't made sense since the first 911 call and it keeps getting worse. Why did George go back to work because Cindy told him to? He is ex-LE. He knew what he should do. Why did Casey even go with Cindy from Tony's? Lee said he hadn't seen them for a year and George calls and he runs over?

IIRC Juliet Lewis had her kid along on the trip too and Zanny was also her nanny... so the 2 big executives had nannies with them on their busienss trip looking after their kids and then after the nanny got in a car crash Juliet had to go look after her own kid and caylee.

From what I have read, I don't even see how Casey could have been considered a babysitter, much less a good one.

Cindy and George enable Caseys deception
Theres no way a former member of LE and an Registered nurse don't know that Caseys stories don't pass the laugh test!
My aunt who is 87 years old was asking me about this case the other day because she knows i am trying to follow it and she is interested but can't follow along as much as she would like because of health problems.
I played Cindys interviews and she was dumbfounded that ANYONE would believe such a cock and bull story!
plus she said something very true... she said most mothers can TELL when their child is lying even if it's a small lie... you just know your own child so well that you pick up on little things that others wouldnt.
I know I am like that with my own kids.
So if anyone would have known that it was BS it's Cindy!
And Cindy DID KNOW... thats why in the 911 call she was distraught and said "the damn car smells like a DEAD BODY and my grand daughter is missing!!!"
She knew! and she knew the business trip story was BS too!

My 92 year old grandmother before she passed in August when I was visting her in the nursing home said you know that mom killed that baby when we were watching tv about the case.

I know for a fact O.J. is indeed guilty of said murders.
Just as I know Casey is indeed guilty of murder in this case.

I don;t think she had a "break down" I think she's just a sociopath and...

With the fluids left in the car it would. And it couldn't have been too bad at first or everytime Casey got out of the car the smell would have been on her. Remember the tow truck man said when he and George got to the car in the lot he opened the passenger side door and it smelled then. Not just the trunk. The whole car smelled. Oh heck that makes me think of Casey saying George drove the car. She ran out of gas 2 Fridays in a row. So say George picked it up the first Friday to get gas for her. He leaves the car at their house til Casey comes to get it. He see's Casey in Cindy's car and trys to chase her and doesn't catch her. Geeeeeeeez I don't know.

well theres definitely some reason that she lied about that
because really at face value compared to all the things in this case that seems so insignificant yet Cindy straight face LIED to the police when asked about it.
Cindy is sneaky and deceptive and I really believe that Casey learned it from her.

I think that Cindy is losing it. I don't know what Cindy was like before Caylee went missing so it is hard to really know what is going on. I think having a daughter like Casey would be enough to drive anyone over the edge....even without Caylee missing. I can't imagine living with that girl. There is something terribly wrong with Casey and probably has been for a long time. I would imagine that she has put her parents thorough hell for years. It sounds like at one time Cindy didn't hold back about what she thought of Casey.
I found the things that Jesse had to say really interesting. According to him Casey started to change towards the end of their relationship. She seemed to be totally different before that according to him. He seems like such a nice guy...very handsome...and very lucky that Casey is out of his life. Casey looks so different with blond hair.
Casey's attorney talks like Casey has told him what happened to Caylee. He talks about Casey not having to tell anyone where Caylee is.
Does anyone even care about that little girl besides people that didn't even know little Caylee? This whole case and this family are unbelievable. I wonder just how whipped George is???

I agree with you and your aunt. Most of the time, a mother knows when her child, even a grown child, is lying. My oldest lied to me the other day via text message and just by the wording and the circumstances I could tell it was a big old LIE! Of course she slipped up later on and the lie unfolded. At least she owned up to it and I reminded her that the truth always comes out somehow.
Tonight on NG they showed that clip of Casey wearing the light blue top when she was first arrested. Every time I see that, I can't help but notice how her face lights up when she realizes that the cameras and reporters are there for her. You can see her turn it on with the walk/strut and all. It is sad really. Wouldn't most people be so ashamed to be arrested for neglect of their child that they would show pure dread and embarrassment on their face?

If she thought it might be Amy's then why didnt she hand it to the officer when she came back in the room? or at least point it out to her and leave it in the wallet?

I think between the last 911 call and LE getting there Cindy was more or less told the truth. So the cover up began. From Zanny taking her, to kidnappers who didn't want ransom, to kidnappers who put Caylee in danger if Casey talked. Just a bunch of bull.

And this is why everytime I start leaning towards Casey I can't let go of Cindy. The 911 calls don't make sense. Waiting 30 days to get Casey doesn't make sense. Cindy is the one who seems to change the story. And the Casey driving her car really pushed me right back to Cindy. I just don't know. All I'm sure of is they all belong in jail and I hope LE can figure out the right charges for the right people.

I would love to hear that Cindy took that money and paid back one of Casey's theft victims. That hasn't been reported, so it appears she kept the money. $250 is a drop in the bucket of what Casey owes her parents, but maybe it would be a LOT of money to one of her young 20 something victims.
JMO
Now we have to be fair to the Anthony's. Before this is over they will probably need 4 different attorney's and that will be expensive. They need all the money they can find.:D

I'm sure she probably owes her parents plenty enough to justify that money but that's not the point and that is what's fundamentally WRONG with the Anthonys!
You don't just take the money because you;ve been wronged to the tune of XXXXX amount of $$$$$ and your gonna get a bit of that back!
Especially if your main focus is on finding your granddaughter!
That money probably had nothing directly to do with caylee's where abouts but who knows... maybe it could have something to do with something or someone...
You should work WITH the police and point out anything and everything... not start sneaking money out of wallets, or lying about what vehicles Casey had driven or what dates things happened on!
According to Cindy her #1 concern is getting Caylee back yet she's pocketing a lousy $250 ?!??!??
Have the Anthonys led any searches? what happened to Cindys declaration that she will knock on every door if thats what it takes to find her granddaughter?
The only reason they arent looking is because they know she's dead and the only thing that finding her body will do is send cinch the case that sends Casey to prison for the rest of her life.

exactly boxermom, that might be a million to 1 shot but it MIGHT be a possibility, or maybe it could have some other connection.. who knows?
According to them they DIDNT KNOW what was going on or where caylee was or anything... so for Cindy to start making decisions about pocketing money found in Caseys wallet and keeping that from the cops could be IMPORTANT info....
maybe not but that's not the point... if theres ANY chance that that money might be a clue no matter how small they owed it to caylee to make sure the cops were AWARE of it!
and yes I agree it was stupid for the cops to let them dump her bags out and rifle through them and it was DOUBLY stupid for the officer to waltz outside and leave them alone with the bag!
remember when the officer came back... she noticed the fake ID or whatever in the wallet as Cindy was flipping through it and she SNATCHED it out of there?
So that tells me that they were already in the mode of suspecting that this could have something to do with the mother.... and how could they not?

That the car was left for 1 day until he could have it towed blah blah...
why do you suppose she was already dropping those jems to the media?
and as it is... it was probably dumb for the cops to leave it there for 5 minutes unguarded because the defense will use anything no matter how small to spout about conspiracy, contamination you name it!

Lostgirl,
I missed the story about the fake ID. Did it have someone else's name on it or was it in Casey's name? Why would she need that? Didn't she have her own FL ID to show at bars, banks, stores, etc...???
Thanks
JMO
I'm not certain it was fake ID, but I think I heard the cop say that in one of the interviews (maybe he said it to cindy when he confronted her about the $250 dollars and not telling them that she took it)
OHHHHH and when he asked her about it she says that she DID tell the officer and show her the money... yet Lee definitely said Cindy took it when the cop was outside and the cop didn't know.
I believe in Lees interview he described it as a white paper or something and how the female officer snatched it out of the wallet.

Boxersmom,
That is such a good point! The money could have had some dna on it or other residues... like chloroform for example. It seems even though the family had major concerns, they went ahead with all this CLEANING. Cleaning the car... cleaning the clothes... and quite possibly trying to "clean" the laptop Casey was using.

Yes, I was thinking of the JBR case also. Who knows what all was in that bag.
It seems like Casey's family was used to covering up for her. They quickly jumped right into that mode and I really feel, IMO, that Lee thought he was doing her a big favor by clearing out some of the things on her computer. Maybe he regrets that now, I don't know.
Years ago, I received and TOOK some good advice from a counselor regarding my daughter. He told me to stop being a parent who enables their child and start being a parent who cheers their child on to do the right thing. I had to hear that 3 times before I realized I was enabling her destructive life style by giving her money all the time. Now I just say I'm proud of you when things seem to be going good for her.
Cindy: Please start "cheering on" Casey to do the right thing and stop enabling her destructive behavior.

Almost like they all knew their jobs and what to do. Remember Lee saying on the phone to Casey in jail. " Is this like the last time." Hard telling what that family has been up to with Casey.

LE had already gone to Tony's and got her cell phone. I'm betting Casey or Cindy told Lee to run over and get the rest of the stuff and remove what they wanted gone. My impression was LE didn't know he had left. And I bet they could have told him to not get it. If he had insisted they could have told Tony to just don't open the door.

i just listened to the NG show from earlier... and it sounded odd to me when the lady calls in and asks her "when" did the tip about a lady seeing someone with a slight bulld, baseball cap blah blah out by the airport" and NG says it was fairly soon after caylee was announced as missing.
and then she goes on to say the tip came in on Sept 3
WTF? the point the caller was making (at least i think it was) was that if the information about Caseys make/color/model of car was already reported and the information about searches around the airport had already been reported then the tipster might just be lying to get attention or something.
well ummmm wasnt ALL of that information WELL KNOWN on Sept 3?
why would NG say the tip was reported quickly after caylee going missing and it was just being revealed now?
did i misunderstand that?

To sum it up real quickly once she got around to calling and asking him to come search she said he said he would be searching for a live Caylee and since he wasn't he was a liar and to go home. LE talked to Tim and ask him to stay. Gave him $5,000 and some equipment and personnel to help him.
