Funny story: I told my husband about Cindy Anthony's statement that their family does not badger Casey about where Caylee is; instead, they just walk around speaking generally about how much they love and miss Caylee. I marveled at the ludicrousness of a hypothetical situation where one of our sons was missing when my husband got home from work but I didn't tell my husband where our son was and we went about our business for a month without telling anyone. My husband gave me an incredulous look and said, "If one of our children went missing, there would be NO OTHER TOPIC OF CONVERSATION!" Which pretty much sums up how most normal people feel about this whole mess.

I found it interesting in reading some other boards that investigators actually read these boards and create pseudo accounts on myspace and facebook to glean information. If we can stay on topic and offer valid opinions and not argue, we can actually contribute to the case!

You never know who is at the other end of the Nic or what their purpose for being on the board really is. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if there weren't professional board posters whose services are available to either side of a case. jmo

Can you say Geragross? Why should he plea deal, when he can make $$$$$$$$ with a trial and the publicity he can get?I thought defense att. are supposed to do what is the best for their client? That's the ONLY deal I think Prosecution would accept at this point with Casey being so UNcooperative.

Look at the Green River Killer. He got a deal to spare his life if he showed where the other bodies were etc to give families closure and proper burial etc.

I have a question that I have been wanting to ask for quite some time. We all know that Casey is sitting in Baez' office for several hours daily, my assumption is that she is doing something on the computer (don't know what). I also have a hunch she is on the message boards (maybe not this one but some MB) lurking and posting, even throwing out some of her tall tales. My question is, can LE subpeona the computers in Baez' office in order to find out what she has been up to? Let's say they check out an IP address and trace it back to his office, can they do anything then?

If you count June 16 as the last time Caylee was seen alive (and, yes, I know, that date is disputed), then on June 17 she would have been missing for one day. Now, on October 1, she has been missing 107 days. If you want to dispute the June 16 date, remember, Caylee was seen alive during the day and into early evening June 15, so the difference is a matter of hours - or two days, if you use Cindy's method of calculating time.

Any time I have clicked on a facebook link, I get a page that says you need to sign in, so I guess you have to have a facebook profile to be able to see hers. (or be on her friends list). I have myspace but not facebook. Mike Brooks stated on HN tonight that LE is getting an air tight case ready and there is no hurry to file the charges. They want to be SURE they have it all. But then again, look at the OJ case. I don't mean to get OT here but Marcia Clarke thought it was a slam dunk case and SHE rejected some very good evidence that should have been presented. So let's put our faith in OCSO and give them the time to get the air tight evidence that they need w/o a body. :patriot:

I decided to register so I could look at her page. After I registered with an email address and a password, I was sent a link by email from Facebook saying go here (a url) and confirm you have given a valid email address, you know like you do to register on here.

I did that, and then when I tried to log in to Facebook, it kept telling me my password was incorrect. I knew it wasn't unless I'd made a typo when I registered, so I started looking for a link to have them send me my password.

Instead of finding something like that, I found a sentence that that said I needed to enter the password to my email address, not the password for my Facebook account ? Huh ? I don't think so.

:confused: Now THAT'S weird. I've been thinking of joining myself.....now that gives me pause. Maybe I'll try it though later.

Could you possibly have a virus in your computer? I know one of my computers, whenever I'd go online to pay a bill, would ask for my PIN number on my debit card. :eek: THAT was a virus.

Yes, but if she uses a ISP from his office the IP address will be tied to his account, not hers. Maybe they just don't realize the hardware isn't the key to the IP address, it's the ISP. JMO.

I know some of those sites ask for your e-mail password because they then e-mail all your contacts in a mass e-mail telling them that you are on that site and to come join them and register. It is just to get more people to register. I am not for sure if facebook is like that.....I have a myspace myself and I have had it for 3 years and when I first registered it asked me to do the same thing.

Yeah, I agree with you. It's pretty pitiful. In fact, I don't think the calls do anything for the show at all besides derail it. If they aren't going to filter them better then I would rather them do away the calls completely.

Anyway I sent an email to Nancy and asked her (well whoever reads the emails LOL) to please "unleash the lawyers" to answer whether or not the evidence in Casey's child neglect trial can be used in a murder trial later on.

Personally I think it CAN be used but I dunno? :shrug:

I decided to register so I could look at her page. After I registered with an email address and a password, I was sent a link by email from Facebook saying go here (a url) and confirm you have given a valid email address, you know like you do to register on here.

I did that, and then when I tried to log in to Facebook, it kept telling me my password was incorrect. I knew it wasn't unless I'd made a typo when I registered, so I started looking for a link to have them send me my password.

Instead of finding something like that, I found a sentence that that said I needed to enter the password to my email address, not the password for my Facebook account ? Huh ? I don't think so.

Hey everyone, I have some info concerning Facebook if it helps.
I have been a member there for sometime myself, and never had any problems logging in or have never received mass emails of any kind. Once you have joined and you wish to have FB friends, they may ask you how you know this person or perhaps a few standard questions for your own security, but so far I have maintained my profile quite well there. I too have put in a request to Casey to add her as a friend, but I received word thru another friend, that she was not accepting anymore requests. Just my luck, figured as much! Now, if you do a search for anyone that is not on your friend list and they have their security settings on high, all you might see is their name and sometimes access to their friends, BUT you will NOT have access to their profile page. You would have to send a request and they would have to accept it in order to gain access to it.

In KC's words "gut feeling Caylee is close", "Caylee would be home for her birthday". Sure makes me think she is still in that back yard, or at least maybe a small part of her is back there. IMO Caylee's body was in that playhouse (or under it or near it). She was also in the trunk. Was she taken somewhere, burned, and the remains brought back and buried in the yard? Yes, I listened to GA and CA interviews again today (for the upteenth time) and it occurs to me that GA is simply a body in that home. In his interview he says something about going to the bank to sign the stimulus check to put in CA account because his name isn't on that account. In CA interview she says something about GA not living in the home at the time of the rift with Jesse and therefore had no right to put his two cents worth in (my wording). GA also says that one of the reasons for the seperation was because of this daughters pregancy and arrival of his granddaughter. I take that as being the overbearing way that CA was dealing with the situation...

If I was GA I would pack my bags, call it even and run to the hills...;)

Funny story: I told my husband about Cindy Anthony's statement that their family does not badger Casey about where Caylee is; instead, they just walk around speaking generally about how much they love and miss Caylee. I marveled at the ludicrousness of a hypothetical situation where one of our sons was missing when my husband got home from work but I didn't tell my husband where our son was and we went about our business for a month without telling anyone. My husband gave me an incredulous look and said, "If one of our children went missing, there would be NO OTHER TOPIC OF CONVERSATION!" Which pretty much sums up how most normal people feel about this whole mess.

Yes, the Anthonys seem to be greiving Caylee's death in their own little way, eager to go on about their business as if she never existed. Hey everyone, I have some info concerning Facebook if it helps.
I have been a member there for sometime myself, and never had any problems logging in or have never received mass emails of any kind. Once you have joined and you wish to have FB friends, they may ask you how you know this person or perhaps a few standard questions for your own security, but so far I have maintained my profile quite well there. I too have put in a request to Casey to add her as a friend, but I received word thru another friend, that she was not accepting anymore requests. Just my luck, figured as much! Now, if you do a search for anyone that is not on your friend list and they have their security settings on high, all you might see is their name and sometimes access to their friends, BUT you will NOT have access to their profile page. You would have to send a request and they would have to accept it in order to gain access to it.
Hopes this helps. BTW I have been following right along with you all each and every day and must say I admire all the hard work you put into this. Kudos to all of you.:beer:

Yes, I listened to GA and CA interviews again today (for the upteenth time) and it occurs to me that GA is simply a body in that home. In his interview he says something about going to the bank to sign the stimulus check to put in CA account because his name isn't on that account. In CA interview she says something about GA not living in the home at the time of the rift with Jesse and therefore had no right to put his two cents worth in (my wording). GA also says that one of the reasons for the seperation was because of this daughters pregancy and arrival of his granddaughter. I take that as being the overbearing way that CA was dealing with the situation...

If I was GA I would pack my bags, call it even and run to the hills...;)


There were a lot of things in George's interview I wished they closed the loop on while they had him there. For instance, Casey in Cindy's SUV ~ when and where was it returned? And why when he talks about playing with Caylee in the yard does he not mention the pool only the playhouse? Also, why does he refer to her so often as "the little girl". As to what Caylee was wearing he does specifically mention white tennis shoes and did say the backpack that was in the car was not the one he saw her with. IMO, he seemed to be truthful for the most part. I don't think he was withholding crucial information. He even said he specifically remembered being called in to work and event the last day of June the 30th a Friday, ummm, it was a Monday. Do any of these people have any clue as to times and dates? Do they live in a vacumm? Someone posted a few days ago that George was an ottoman, that is so true, everyone in that house has their feet all over him. Such a shame. IMO.

I think history points to a possibility that Casey will not talk! Therefore, TES will be coming back to do what they do best, search for a missing Caylee based upon any information that LE and evidence points to. Evidence points to a Dead Caylee, therefore, don't be surprised if they are trudging through swampy fields and woods looking for a place that Caylee's body is hidden. Casey is the only one who can lead them to the body unless she has an accomplice who also knows where Caylee is located. Unless she confessed to her family members and they personally went out to verify that she was for once telling the truth, She is it!!!!!!!! I just went on FB and Casey is apologizing to everyone on her friends list for being harassed as a result of supporting the effort to find Caylee.....Seriously??? This woman disgusts me to the core! I thoroughly agree with your post. I can't understand how a little girl is missing and yet these lawyers and supporters stand behind Casey and the Anthonys. What is wrong with our country. A little girl is missing and her mother will not tell anyone where she is. Oh, I forgot Casey doesn't know where Caylee is, she was threatened by the kidnappers but Caylee is safe and close to home, did I get that straight.

Even though I disagree with the protesters, I get so angry at the people that are supporting the Anthonys when Caylee is still waiting to be found. George and Cindy are laughing at the media, LE, Tim Miller and the public, they want to show that their family is above the law. They want to file charges against the protesters, but defend their daughter who sits in their home and will not tell anyone where Caylee is.

I guess a little innocent girl's life isn't important. Maybe Cindy feels that Caylee was responsible for coming between her and Casey, so maybe without Caylee in their lives anymore, she can get another chance with Casey. Nothing else explains the way Cindy is acting.

ZFG is on...Looks sharp with hair pulled back in a bun and wearing a black blazer and light blue silk shirt with collar underneath blazer.
ZFG first realized she was part of the disappearance when LE called her. LE asked if she was the mother of two children and driving a certain car. Her immediate reaction: In shock. Had never heard of Casey. She was in the store with her daughters when LE called her on her cell. She looked at the vacant apartment at the Sawgrass just the one time.
Her attorney John MOrgan is there: How did Casey get that information on ZFG? She filled out a visitor's card. May have gotten that information that way. Casey knew people that lived in the area.
Padilla: She knew Annie and Dante who lived in 218. Casey was driving Tony's jeep that day with a NY license plate on the day ZFG visited.
ZFG has 6 children. Why steal one more? After ZFG was told that LE thought she might be a suspect she was in shock and went home and told LE she would meet them there. Cops were there when she came home. Cops asked if she had gone to Sawgrass on a certain date. She showed them the car she was driving on that date. They showed her pictures of Casey and Caylee and she didn't know who they were. LE then informed her about Casey's lies. She had never babysat for Casey or anyone who worked for Universal. She is a cleaning lady.
John Morgan: ZFG was a basket case when he met her. Fired from her job...can't find a new one. Push back with this defamation lawsuit.

I still think ZG may have parked her car and Casey was waiting (staking out as Lee said). ZG may have left her car open and Casey found something with ZG's name on it (mail, anything). She may have seen the apt. manager walk ZG to the apt to show it but Casey didn't realize that was what was happening (may have thought she was going to her own apt.). She may not have gotten a good look at ZG and thought she looked younger than what she is.
I am not saying I think ZG has a case or should get anything from it other than to clear her name but I also don't think that Casey and her family should be able to accuse anyone under the sun of the horrible things that Casey herself did.:shrug:

I once worked for a govt. agency and had access to very very personal information. We were told under no circumstance were we to look up anyone we knew, were related to or celebrity for that matter. There was something built into the system that alerted them if anything was searched. Maybe they just told us that to scare us and I was naive enough to believe it, but I did not even go close to anything that had a name on it of someone I knew crossed the street next to my house (exagerating of course) but you get the pic.

You are correct about that.

I like hearing all the ethical questions being asked lately to defense attorneys about a client confessing and not having a body found etc.

I think it's possible that Baez was told something and may have to back away from the case or turn over certain aspects of the case to another attorney.

Scott Peterson case was a prime example of what has been stated in recent days about this. I was one of the first to say that Scott Peterson confessed something to his attorney Kirk McAllester and that was why he stepped away the way he di but got shot down by those who claimed to know the law and/or were defense attorneys on the board at that time.

If Baez is an ethical man or attorney he would do the same before trial. IMO IF Casey has stated anything to him.

They named casey a suspect today and i feel it will just be within days they charge her for the crime of murder.

As appalled as I was to hear some of the things said on this very board about her based on things like her appearance and allegations that she was evicted, I wasn't surprised. But I wouldn't say vile things about a human being based only on their tattoo's or lack of grooming to meet my standards! Give her a break alreayd!

It's that pesky U.S. Constitution giving defendants the right to confront the witnesses against them. Those darn courts have interpreted that as including the right to know who those adverse witnesses will be before they appear on the witness stand, so that the defendant's attorney can prepare to confront them in a meaningful way. Such a bother! There would be many more convictions if the defense learned about the identity of the adverse witnesses for the first time when those witnesses were called by the prosecution to testify so that the defense couldn't do any background investigation to find out if the adverse witnesses had ever made any inconsistent statements or had any biases against the defendant, and so on. ;-)
