Like somekind of mind control. I have seen this type of thing many times in family court issues. The mum wants to hold onto the man in her life so she goes along with his abuse of her kids. Usually out of fear of either then unknown or of some specific consequence he is holding above her head.
I dont really see this in Cindys case.
Besides, what if anything would Cindy gain from killing Caylee?
Also no one controls Casey's mind but her! Casey only does things for her and no one else. Name anything that she has done for her mother? Has she ever gone above and beyond for her mom for anything? People that are controlled go above and beyond for their controller. And as far as I am concerned covering for your mom murdering your daughter is WAY above and beyond...but Casey doesn't even do the minimal of that in just everyday life.

I'm usually gone by then. Watching politics, etc.
Anyway..... I have no idea what the resolution of this case will be. I do think Casey harmed her child, and I'm hoping LE has the forensics to prove it.
Someone said the other day..... "Even Scott Peterson had cement in his boat". My point is, that LE needs to come up with some solid proof that Caylee was dead in the car. I'm still struggling with the forensics.
Hey Dunnie! Good for you for getting off to watch politics! We need to be involved. (IMO) :patriot:

So, where is Caylee, IF they are both in blockbuster at 8 pm, and GA saw Caylee that afternoon, where is she? Also, if that is Casey, that looks like a dress to me, not slacks. (I am NO longer including ZFG in any of my thought)
I believe that by 8 p.m. on 6/16, Caylee was no longer "with us".
I think that's what the photo is meant to show.
And no ZFG was EVER included in my thinking. I also don't believe that GA saw them on 6/16 at 1:50 p.m.

One thing I think they told her is to get the receipts. When she was asked about it again on 8/1, didn't Yuri tell her she was supposed to bring them that day?
IIRC you are right. I also believe that she gave those receipts to JB.
I don't know why she thinks she can hide the credit card receipts from them!!

But on the tapes she is telling you what she wants you to know/ A datebook would have been kept months ago and she probably never dreamed anyone but HER would ever see it or scrutinize it. Maybe that counselor told her to start keeping some sort of running record for an upcoming possible custody battle- entries like "Casey home 2am"
"Casey out all night" and also include little words in it spoken to cindy by casey, which cindy wrote down knowing full well it was BS. Business trip for Universal...fpr example. she recorded caseys lies, in other words....all JMO!!! But 1st and foremost, I will just never beleive cindy didn't have a daytimer of her own she recorded in.....
I tend to agree with you on this.....Cindy was keeping records of the money trail also. She had to keep it somewhere and after reading your earlier post, I feel pretty sure she still has it. She isn't going to let it go. I doubt seriously if George has seen it. It seems to me there were things going on between Cindy and Casey that Cindy didn't make George aware of because his family security clearance was only need-to-know. moo

The police did come and didn't seize the car for how long after Cindy reported it smelled like death?
I think a day.
It wasn't a whole day. Remember it was close to midnight on the 15th before LE arrived at the house. She had plenty of time to wash, dry, and dispose of anything she wanted prior to them being called or arriving.
The car was then impounded on the 16th.
The exact time is somewhere in the documents - the first set, I believe.

They came the 15 at night. They were there most of the night. They picked it up the 16th after they got a warrant for it. 12hr. Cindy said she was counting the 15 as one day and the 16 as another. Course we all do that don't we. 12 hrs. = 2 days cause it's over say a Mon and a Tues.

ita with all of your points. Can you imagine how any grandparent would feel not being in touch with their daughter for a whole month because they were in an arguement with her? Now, look what has happened. I think Casey thought Caylee was getting to be too much for her and if she left her with her parents then it was like another failure on her part. I bet Cindy and George will blame themselves in years to come right now I think Cindy is all about defending Casey because she knows Caylee is gone and she partly blames herself

I thought she got fired from Universal in April of 06? Unless that was a simple typo. :seeya:
I still think that Casey had disposable phones. Especially since I believe the whole drug angle. And those phones are basically untraceable if you don't have the telephone number.
I think the "work" phone was for either drugs and/or maybe an escort service?
Sorry typo. 2006.
As far as disposable phones go if anyone of her friends called her on a disposable the number would have been recorded on their accouts.
I do not think any info has been released pertaining to that.
I wonder if she boughjt disposable phones from cell phone company there still would have been a record of that purchase ....i do understand she could have gotten one from the street corner but I just don't see that happening.
If Casey was selling drugs she should have had plenty of money ...then she would not have had to steal.

As for the washing of Casey's slacks from the car ,I do not beleive that she ever said she was given permission. Cindy offered the information to Law E that she had taken a few things from the car to wash as they smelled like the car. This has been on NG before as well and NG has made comments that she herself did not feel like Cindy AT THE TIME was trying to wash evidence, and I agree ,since why did she offer the fact of this herself...as well she is the one who was baiting her daughter for the truth ,whichis why she threatened to call police when Casey would not come off of whre Caylee was and Cindy made good on her threat and called 911 . then when Casey relaised her mom was serious after calling 911 and saying her daughter needs arrested .......that is when CASEY decided her mom wasn't playing and had to come up with the qucik story on zanny the nanny taking her .....so no cindy was not involved then at all IMO and I don't think Casey evenhad a plan for Zanny the nanny at that point ......it was just a split decission under stress of mother demanding an answr and Casey being put on the spot to come up with something QUICK ..so yes again do not believe the ZANNY NANNY story was being plotted..........I just think Casey early on used ZANNY the nanny story from a ways back to hide that she was not working and that someone actually watched caylee why she was working ....and the lies just had to continue thereafter or she would be exposed for what really happened and that she had not had a legitamate job for 2 years!
My point was that Cindy wasted no time after Casey was arrested spinning the lies, and she hasn't quit yet.

Didn't Casey remove the dead squirrels? (One squirrel in the engine I'd buy....but TWO?) Anyway, if it was infact ture...the smell could have been from the carcas heating up on the engine? And it would only get worse when the car was running.
I wonder if there was a large amount of flies near and in that car too. I suppose even if there was, it could have been from the maggots and rotten pizza.....assuming either one of those stories are true.
I just wonder if LE has taking any samples from the engine of that car to see if there is squirrel/dead animal remains anywhere on it.

The first thing I have done in similar cases is to advise my clients who suspect abuse or neglect to document, document, document.
Documentation and accurate reports mean everything in court. You document days they seem unusually sleepy, complain of a head or tummy ache, any bruise however small or innocent, if they complain of not eating or being yelled at...any small detail that seems off or that is nothing in one isolated incident. All of these things add up to a big picture, and the court wants to hear " On 5 days in the last wekk, she came to my house very hungry and stated there was no ffod in her home"...not "she seems hungry alot".
Any singular event of abuse/neglect unless physically devastating ( requiring medical care or causing long term damage) will be brushed off by Social Services and by the court if privately pursued. One night a child goes to bed hungry is nothing...but ten nights?, ther you have a neglect case. The proof is in the documented and ongoing nature of the treatment of a child.

* Find out if Cindy took her therapists/counselors advice and kept records and you have one more valuable tool in setting the stage for this tragedy...and in proving Casey's emotional relationship to the victim. Good question....unless the animal was actually under the car. Then it would. I still think LE would be able to determine if there was ever a dead animal either in the engine or under the car.
We had a dead squirrel die under my wheel well after hitting it, it somehow managed to lodge under there. My Dad thought he was going to have to sell the car, it was so bad.

1). It is not the job of the police to publically correct misinformation being spread by individuals during an investigation unless it interferes with the investigation.
2). During the released, videotaped interview of Cindy, the officers do in fact advise her that for the public to receive inconsistant stories from Cindy and different information from the police is harmful to the situation...I cannot remember the exact wording, but He does tell her he can't very well go out there with one story and then another, and another...

That all sounds logical to me, would a counselor be able to tell that information or would that be considered privledged as well. That is if Cindy was talking to a counselor.
Anything between the counselor and Cindy would be priveleged with some exceptions. If Cindy were deceased, the court could have the info. turned over to examine in judges chambers for relevance ( this happened in the Michelle Young case). If there is information of an ongoing crime or the abuse of a child ( not hearsay, but a statement by the client that they have done something), and if the patient is considered a danger to themselves and others. Under these conditions, the records could be open to some parties ( the courts, LE, other doctors, etc.).
AFAIK or can recall these would be the only reasons for that info. to become available...but there may be variances from state to state that I'm unaware of. For that matter, some laws may have changed, I've not worked since 2006...sometimes things change fast. At that time HIPAA had recently come into effect and was creating changes in any medical setting.
JMO.
ETA: I forgot to include that Cindy herself can allow the records to be divulged...but I see that as HIGHLY unlikely!

You know.... let's PRETEND the dead critter story for a second... when you hit an animal ~ normally it is crushed or something but is not always left in one piece. And therefore even if part of the body was lodged in the car, it would smell ~ but it would NOT be overpowering. And even if it was lodged in part of the car, normally it would decompose or just fall out.
On the other hand... these die hard critters managed to get up into her car and decompose in such a fashion that the smell went from the engine to the trunk and was so overpowering that a person couldn't even stand by the car for long......
I gotta tell ya... unless she had a large dead animal, possibly a good sized raccoon or such actually STORED in her trunk ~ her story.... just doesn't make sense.
Not that I was buying it to begin with... but come one... my aunt hit a family of baby racoons one night and two or three got stuck in the wheel well and smelled. But it smelled like 'oh I should wash that out of my car' not 'the car smells like a dead body was in there' smell.

Well, they are the ones allowing the information to be aired over and over again, you think a reporter would just ask if Cindy is lying? I mean this stuff can be cleared up and confirmed. moo
Do you really expect LE to go on air every time Cindy lies or changes her story and correct it? Why would they waste their time?
IMO, the only impact her stories have are to create an even worse public perception of her behavior and motives.
LE has better things to do with their time than pick on Cindy on the news...her lies to the public do not affect their ability to do their job. Why get into a p***ing match with the family members of a missing child victim? How is that helpful or productive? I prefer the kind and professional treatment the Anthony's have received thus far from LE...despite the fact that I don't think they particularrly deserve it.
I am certain that all will beocome clear in time. Specifically, everything will be cleared up when it truely counts...in a Court of Law.

Her child is missing or kidnapped.
Someone has a dead body laying around to frame her, but wait that was rotten pizza in the car.
She lost her phone with the Zanny the Nanny's phone number.
No one at the apartment where she left Caylee.
All of her friends have stories to tell of her lying.
She is caught in photo's during the time her child is missing.
She doesn't trust LE but sleeps with a few.
She steals from several people, but this was to find Caylee.
She has a script to follow, but now she can tell the truth.
Her friends were in a car accident.
LE can't find Juliet, Sam or any of the others she mentions.
She runs out of gas in her car.
Someone steals gas cans from her dad.
Two dead squirrels crawled up into her engine and died.
All of this in a month? Wow talk about unlucky.

A mouse once crawled behind my refrigerator in our garage and passed away. The smell was bad, but I could track it with my nose. Pulled out the frig, spotted the poor little guy, removed it, and no more smell.
In other words, the squirrel in the engine would not make the trunk stink.
Now, fluids from a decomposing human body in the trunk, would cause the trunk to smell.

I had a volkswagon when I first moved up here and it was all rusted out in the bottom- had been welded with "patches' a couple of times, carpet covered it and the floor was still "mushy" in places. Once it was so bad you could see through to the roadway below. Underneath it was kazillons of peices of rusted metal and floorboard crud hanging down- I hit a possum once and I know the best of it stuck on for a day or 2. No gagging smell, either, and beleive me the floor was like a cheese greater underneath, I would have smelled it. And, it was a VW, I was sitting practically OVER the holes.
I {{shudder}} to think of driving something like that down the road now, but @ the time I was soooo po!!

I am told that a decomposing human body has a VERY distinct smell.
The catalytic converter is a good idea, but coupled with all the other info we have, I'm guessing that Cindy hit the nail on the head when she dialed 911 and told the dispatcher that the car smelled like a dead body.

Muffler most likely. I had a friend who had this problem. A squirrel went inside his muffler and didn't get out in time and cooked in there. The smell got trapped all over the car. Sometimes, as other people stated, animals get into the car because the temperatures are getting cooler at night they look for warm places to sleep/live. Cars are usually a hotspot. Usually if you get the sticky airfreshners from the dollar store and put them under your seats and out of sight out of mind they will cover up the smell. Good luck
Which would explain why the trunk smelled, if this were the case. I know, I know, I'm beating a dead squirrel with all this, but I guess I just can't wrap my mind around a Mother leaving her dead daughter's body in the trunk. She'd have to be a monster.....

I don't think she killed Caylee on purpose. I think it was an honest accident in the pool and Cindy being Cindy could never admit to that. She caused all this because of her arrogance, her need to be right no matter what. She's not human.
In the beginning I thought nawh she didn't harm her little girl and maybe it was true ZFG kidnapped Caylee. Then the smell which turned out to be decomp. Then I thought it might be an accident. Then the search on internet on missing children way before Caylee went missing. I always held back and gave the benefit of doubt. I just don't know how anyone could think she is innocent of a vicious crime.JMO:rose:
