I agree - it was nice to see the focus back on Caylee, and that's what they were all there for (except for momster mom). Thursday will be an interesting day with Casey being indicted on 13 counts of fraud. I'm no lawyer - but couldn't Baez plea with the DA before the indictment, or do negotiations come after?
He's not gonna let her go to a jury trial on these 13 counts is he? I would think he would try his hardest to plea down.
Thoughts?
She probably thinks if she goes to trial that she can get off---you know, Amy was sleepwalking when she gave her the checks (or was it the cash?) I am sure she has some equally logical () explanations about all the other stuff. You know someone else is probably responsible for making her do all that stuff.

I understand however what kind of ACTING took place for her to say for absolute sure the baby was his?...I know women do that but I could NEVER!!...that is what I mean when I say after the DNA most families would be PIZZED...That is a lot of turmoil to put them through....Yes I just bet the Grunds are trying harder that the Anthony`s to figure out what happened to that poor baby......
I admit I may have missed it but I don't remember anyone saying Casey insisted he was the father. She may have but I just don't remember it. And Jesse still wanted to be Caylee father even if he wasn't the bio.

It will probably come back to kick Casey in the AZZ.......
I've never heard Casey mention who held the baby first. Just Cindy, George and Lee.

I wonder if Cindy put a bug in Jesse's ear (behind Casey's back), to have a paternity test. We now know they did not see eye to eye and there was no love lost between them, and I doubt Cindy wanted to share 'her new baby' and control of the baby with Jesse. Perhaps she suggested that since Casey has been with several men and had admitted to her she wasn't sure he was the baby daddy it might be a good idea for him to be certain before putting his name of the birth certificate and being saddled with 18 years of child support. I wouldn't put it past her......

It looks real bad for her to STILL be hung up on that.....dont know if she said it to LE but there are 3 others locked into that statement......NOT GOOD!
If we accept that the Anthony's are not your everyday family and say an accident happened. Which member of that family would be the easiest because of their behavior since May to throw under the bus.

MAYBE......You know I just keep thinking about what George told LE about Casey bringing guys back to the house when they were gone......Where was Caylee AND was this while she was with Jesse.......
I only remember the one time when Cindy told George to leave cause they were seperated and it was her house and her rules and she would handle it.
When it first came up about George being in the delivery room, there was discussion about that. The other night in a delivery, there was the baby's daddy, the mom's daddy and 4 women. Some were the baby's grandma's, great grandma's--one might have been the sister of either the mom or dad. The mom's dad was taking pics (or maybe it was a phone that would take video) of the delivery. He was @ the head of the bed, so it was all in "good taste."
I only go in for delivery, so I am not sure if mom was really okay with all this, or if people kind of just worm their way in (altho there is only supposed to be 2 people in the delivery.) I know sometimes it is hard for the mom to say no to people who have been so helpful--say, if she lived w/her parents, or someone who maybe bought a lot of the baby stuff.
Cindy seems to be quite a forceful person, and maybe Casey just wasn't able to stand up to her about who would be in the delivery room. Or, it could very well be that Casey is the one who wanted both there.

I just don't understand why it is such a big deal. George even mentioned it in his interview.
I truly believe Cindy started this line of carp as some sort of explanation as to why she and Casey don't get along and why Casey might use Caylee to hurt Cindy. Now George and Lee (per Cindy's direction) have jumped on the band wagon. Heck Cindy even told this little story to Casey's so called friends.
Cindy would prefer people believe Casey is mad about this silly incident rather than have the truth come out. Obviously there was major friction between them before this event or Casey would have no reason to be upset about her mother, a first time excited grandmother holding the baby first...that's ludicrous. More Cindyspeak BS that is being made into a real fact, but I just don't buy it.

And her dad did say she was driving Cindy's SUV that day.
All this happened around the 25. Casey said when the car ran out of gas her dad was going to take care of it. So we have Casey in Cindy's car. Who had Casey's car? Another question we have no answer to. When Tony picked up Casey he said she had groceries that looked like she got them from her parents home. More questions with no answers.

Indeed she does, and I find it rather replusive. Right off the bat in her interview with LE she starts talking about her lack of sleep. ITA. That's one of the reason's I lean very strongly towards it being Cindy. Cindy and George covering up from day one after Casey leaving mad and an accident happened. In George's statement he said he always moved the ladder away from the pool and locked the gate. He insisted always.

Casey is being accused of doing cause people think she did and we don't even know if they happened. She's the mom and she partied and that means she did it. I just don't think that's enough to convict her on. Give me more and I have no problem giving the person who harmed Caylee the death penalty

Hi HockeyMom
I haven't been here very long myself so welcome from one newbie to another :)
I totally agree with you... when ours were little we had a set routine that we rarely deviated from... my husband would usually wash them up from play if he was home from work while i finished up with dinner and got the table ready, we sat down together, ate and encouraged them to add to conversation from a very young age and they came to look forward to dinner even as little ones because it was the one meal that daddy was almost always there and they felt all grown up and we made it a pleasant time, then they could play for a while or watch a favorite show on television, take their baths, small snack and into bed for storybook and then tuck them in with big hugs and kisses.
Little ones need a safe nest and lots of love.... toys, expensive outfits and fancy nursery furniture are all lovely but the really important things are a nurturing enviroment, comfortable surroundings and a regular schedule (as much as possible because of course at times there are exceptions to the rule and occasionally they get to bed later or you eat a little later etc etc)
I feel sad for Caylee because while i think she probably had some of that at Cindy's.... I really have my doubts about her day to day schedule when she was with Casey and staying other places :(

The Grunds watched Caylee for the first year of her life. They seem to love her very much. After the first year I shudder to think of how she was bounced around. Cindy and George seem to have had her most of the time when Caylee wasn't home. Not that I think that was good for Caylee.

Just how is she supposed to "fly home"? Unless they already know the outcome and they mean fly home to God.

I'd never thought of that before. It is strange. Only thing I can think of is their kidnapping story and maybe someone's going to bring her back on a plane? It's just another strange things the Anthony's do I guess. Most people just wear a "missing" tee shirt.

So now we know how much she stole every year.
Oh and I guess she made up that half credit she needed to finish high school. Shame she didn't tell Cindy and George.

I find her "motto" especially interesting --
Melanie
"i'm a genuine girl."
About me...
i'm a single mom, and my daughter is the love of my life. br/sports and music are two of my greatest passions. gotta' love them OSU Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns, Indians, and the Orlando Magic. i like to keep things simple, and enjoy every moment of life.
I'm looking for...
someone to share my time with. really, it's that simple.
The most important thing in my life is...
my daughter, my family, and my friends. i cherish the people i share my life with, and strive to show them that each and every day.
I spend my free time...
i try to spend as much time as possible with my daughter. it is nice to get away for a few hours, and grab a drink at an Ale House, or Fridays. i'll play the occasional game of pool, or darts. my family and my friends make everything worth wild.
How I spent my last vacation...
my last vacation was to Myrtle Beach, SC, in 2005. this trip was the first time i had ever flown, and i can honestly say, that it was an experience.
My favorite dish or recipe...
i love all types of food, with the exception of seafood. i'm allergic to most types of shellfish, but that has yet to stop me from at least trying something different. pastas, potatoes, and fruits are some of my favorite things.
My motto...
live for the future, forget the past.
What my best friend would say about me...
he/she would say that i am extremely outspoken. they would tell you that i am a 'mom' to everyone. i have been since i was a little kid. it has always been in my blood. he/she would also say that i have the coolest daughter in the entire world. why? because it's true!
My most prominent memory...
hands down, the moment i found out that i was going to be a mom. it was completely unexpected, and i'll have to admit, i was horrified. in that moment, i knew that my life was going to change, and that i was going to become the happiest i have ever been. not once have i ever questioned that, nor have i doubted the wonderful feeling it is to be a parent.
On my coffee table you will find...
a couple of my daughter's books, the tv remote, and a plastic wrapper from a freezer pop.
Last Saturday night I...
enjoyed a nice night out with a couple old friends. needless to say, i got my butt kicked at pool, but redeemed myself with a game of darts.
If I could be on any reality TV show, I would be on...
i would love to go on Survivor.
the premise of the game is impeccable: outwit, outplay, outlast.
unfortunately, i wouldn't be able to be my 'typical' self, because my mouth would probably get me into trouble. i would try my hardest to stay under the radar, and develop strong bonds with a multitude of players. it's a big social game, but there is a lot of physicality that plays into as well. that's when being a smaller girl would work to my advantage.
Isn't that the trip to Rick's wedding? The one where they all denied she (Casey) was pregnant even though it was quite obvious to everybody in attendance?
