Accoding to the documents released in the first set, in the interview with the LE, the neighbor she borrowed the shovel from, Brian Burner, said she told him she couldn't find the key to their (the Anthony's) shed and she wanted to borrow his shovel to dig up a bamboo root she'd been tripping over.

He estimated she had it 45 mintues to an hour. He can't remember the date, but thinks it was the week of June 16th, or possibly the following week.

He said she didn't appear dirty when she returned it and doesn't recall if she was wearing the same clothes she wore when she borrowed the shovel and when she returned it.

I haven't seen any test results for the shovel and don't think they've been made public.

Casey didn't tell Tony she was out of gas, she told him there was a mechanical problem and her dad was going to get the car and have it fixed, or she was going to get a new one.

Why should George pay for the gas gauge? He thought she was working. She's 22, my dad would have kicked my butt. imo

Come on now...Pru pointed out last night that he contradicted himself in his statements to LE about that computer. He said it was up and running when he got there. Moments later, he responded to LE's question that he had to turn it on with "absolutely." :rolleyes:

I don't see an "absolutely" in that part of his statement.

He said it was all SET UP when he got there. Plugged in. "Off at this point." Then he said "when I turned it on to see if I could just get on the desktop there......." There is a possibility, to me, that what was actually "OFF" was the monitor and what he turned on was the monitor.

And even if not, I am just not seeing this slight contradiction as being the huge thing in this case that has been talked about since yesterday. I mean, just what is being attempted to be proven here? Why would he lie over whether he turned the computer on or not? Do you honestly believe he looked at all her email and docs and found proof she murdered Caylee and deleted it all? Geeeeeeeez.

They can be made to testify...if they don't tell the truth they can be charged with pergury.

I recall in the 2nd Zenaida interview she said the names of 2 of her children were on the Sawgrass application, but she had more than 2 children. They even showed the application during the interview... with the 2 childrens names written on the app. It's online somewhere.

I've also watched/read/heard of people changing their habits such as organization habits after they commit a crime like murder. It's like their life is total Caos and they become neat freaks because they can control that. It's something they have control over.

Being Neat for a new boyfriend is sort of normal IMO. Good impression then when you get totally comfortable with eachother. You tend to not be so particular about things. JMO

years ago, I applied to the hiway patrol. got pretty far into the hiring process. but when I got to the part where they showed me photos of car accidents and stuff to see if I had the stomach for it, I did okay until they showed me pics of kids. I can't do kids. I stopped the hiring process.

I'm assuming she wants her name cleared, when they interviewed her she said she was having a lot of trouble getting a job and such due to her name and the media coverage and things like that. When Greta interviewed her and they were in Casey's and Caylee's room, there were a lot of photos up. That was a while back though. So don't know if they are still up or not. I'm sure it breaks Cindy's heart, and everyone else's to see photos of Caylee.

This may sound harsh but....

IMO she is hoping for public sympathy which could result in public financial donations, possibly a good job offer, or perhaps an offer of a low/or no rent decent place to live. I don't think she suddenly became unemployed, had difficulty securing a new job, and had to live in a motel with her children because of this 'Casey Anthony situation.' Obviously she was already looking for a place to rent. I suspect she may have been down on her luck before all this came down....but why not attempt to use the blame game FWIW.

Did she get fired from a job because of this? Can she prove it, if so that would be a good law suit.
Where was she living prior to Casey bringing her name up in connection to Caylee?
Does she have proof she was denied employment due to Casey's accusations about 'a' mysterious ZFG? If so, that is who she should sue.

I jus got off the phone with TIM. I never expected to speak with him directly. He said I just caught him as he was walking out the door to search for a man that was lost in IKE. He said he REMEMERED who I was. These are the questions I asked him.

1. Did he sustained a big loss from IKE.
He said he did but it wasn't as bad as he thought and they expect to recover quickly.

2. When is he going back to Orlando.
He said in 3 weeks they should be ready to go.

3. Was there anything we could do to help.
He said right now he just want people to pray and would appreciate if I could come back to Orlando but if I couldn't he would understand.

Then he told me tomorrow he is leaving for OK. to look for a woman that has been missing for 2 weeks and they are holding her husband. He also told me that he will be coming to Ga. to look for 2 missing people, 1 a man and the other that has been missing for a long time. The cases are not related. He took down my work and cell number and said he or someone from the offivce would be in touch with me. He also asked that when he gets to Ga. if I could round up as many people I could to assist in the such.

I told him I didn't want to keep him on the phone any longer as I knew he was very busy. He said he would be in touch soon. I said good luck and goodbye and he said ok bye hun. :D

I'm so happy that the poster asked if I had heard from him because I would never had made that call.

I really love that man and respect everything he does.

I have wondered also. The fact that Casey was sleeping with so many LE may been gossip among the officers. Wonder if he caught wind of her escapades and it made him uncomfortable/jealous, etc?

That did cross my mind too! I felt like Tony was genuine with his comments. I felt like he probably did not want to have kids around to much but never told Casey "I don't want Caylee over her"...I could be wrong but that is how I took it.

When the circumstantial evidence pointing to Casey's having murdered her daughter is reviewed on TV and on our message board, I can't remember hearing what the results were on the analysis of the shovel that Casey borrowed from a neighbor.

Does anyone know anything about this...the forensic results AND...what was the story that Casey told police or the neighbor about why she needed to borrow the shovel.

I feel this is pretty incriminating and was wondering if anyone has any new info. Thanks!

No testing results have been released for the shovel.

I don't believe Casey has said anything to LE about the shovel...IRRC the shovel info came after she lawyered up.

IMO she is hoping for public sympathy which could result in public financial donations, possibly a good job offer, or perhaps an offer of a low/or no rent decent place to live. I don't think she suddenly became unemployed, had difficulty securing a new job, and had to live in a motel with her children because of this 'Casey Anthony situation.' Obviously she was already looking for a place to rent. I suspect she may have been down on her luck before all this came down....but why not attempt to use the blame game FWIW.

Did she get fired from a job because of this? Can she prove it, if so that would be a good law suit.
Where was she living prior to Casey bringing her name up in connection to Caylee?

I jus got off the phone with TIM. I never expected to speak with him directly. He said I just caught him as he was walking out the door to search for a man that was lost in IKE. He said he REMEMERED who I was. These are the questions I asked him.

1. Did he sustained a big loss from IKE.
He said he did but it wasn't as bad as he thought and they expect to recover quickly.

2. When is he going back to Orlando.
He said in 3 weeks they should be ready to go.

3. Was there anything we could do to help.
He said right now he just want people to pray and would appreciate if I could come back to Orlando but if I couldn't he would understand.

Then he told me tomorrow he is leaving for OK. to look for a woman that has been missing for 2 weeks and they are holding her husband. He also told me that he will be coming to Ga. to look for 2 missing people, 1 a man and the other that has been missing for a long time. The cases are not related. He took down my work and cell number and said he or someone from the offivce would be in touch with me. He also asked that when he gets to Ga. if I could round up as many people I could to assist in the such.

I told him I didn't want to keep him on the phone any longer as I knew he was very busy. He said he would be in touch soon. I said good luck and goodbye and he said ok bye hun. :D

Running the tag means that someone in LE can look up the owner of the car from the tag number. Police aren't supposed to do it for just anyone, and without good reason, but a rookie so enamored with the sex from Casey probably would.

Lee's statement that was just released indicates that Casey told him she was "staking out" the Sawgrass apartments. She doesn't mention when, but Lee assumes she's looking for the invisible nanny to return with Caylee.

So, putting two and two together, this would mean (to me) that she was staking out the Sawgrass on the day that the real ZG was looking at the apartment. She was looking for a "mark" or someone she could blame the "kidnapping" on. Notice she also says it was Apartment 210 and that is the model apartment (IIRC). That would have been the one that ZG was shown while she was there. If Casey's in the parking lot, she would have seen this (wouldn't she?) or if she was at the "bottom of the stairs" (another place she claims she dropped Caylee off).

This would mean that Caylee was already dead by the time ZG was looking at the apartment.

Again, does the real ZG drive a silver or gray Ford Focus?

I've also watched/read/heard of people changing their habits such as organization habits after they commit a crime like murder. It's like their life is total Caos and they become neat freaks because they can control that. It's something they have control over.

Well a car tag won't tell you if the person has any children.

LE may have cleared her, however, every time someone in the media runs the tape of Casey identifying her and spelling her name out, it's as though the clearing never happened.

This may sound harsh but....

IMO she is hoping for public sympathy which could result in public financial donations, possibly a good job offer, or perhaps an offer of a low/or no rent decent place to live. I don't think she suddenly became unemployed, had difficulty securing a new job, and had to live in a motel with her children because of this 'Casey Anthony situation.' Obviously she was already looking for a place to rent. I suspect she may have been down on her luck before all this came down....but why not attempt to use the blame game FWIW.

Did she get fired from a job because of this? Can she prove it, if so that would be a good law suit.

I dont' think it is unheard of for children to climb up on tables, course we have some unruly children in my family lol.. I dont' believe it for one second that the child was alive at that point in time though. However, kids act different around other people too, she may not have been as well behaved as they are stating when it was just her and Casey. course I don't think she was ever on the table, I think she was dead at that point.. allm JMO

It is very common for toddlers to climb up on things. My oldest climbed up on the refrigerator when he was 2 y.o.! I was at work, and my mother was keeping him... she nearly had a heart attack... had no clue how he managed that. All my boys were climbers and my 2 y.o. granddaughter is too... just like her daddy, he is the one who climbed on the fridge!

About the shovel~~

Can anybody tell me WHY Casey would have to borrow a shovel from a neighbor when everybody that owns a house with gardens and a pool would already have their OWN shovel or shovels in the OWN garage?

There is no way the Anthony's did not OWN a shovel..Why make a big deal of making it so obvious of borrowing a shovel when she KNEW that information would come out...

This shovel borrowing seems like a set up to me....Something is really fishy about the whole shovel thing..:mad:

I don't see why Casey would purposely draw attention to herself. Maybe, she borrowed the shovel to dig a hole in the backyard, realized the neighbor would tell the police about it, if asked. So she returned the shovel and placed the body in the trunk. By that point, she might have thought the police would be misled, if they searched the backyard.
I don't think she could have drove somewhere w/ that shovel, in the short time she had it. It would be very interesting if testing shows the shovel wasn't used in the backyard.

What really concerns me is now we now that casey anthony returned like a thief in the night to the home, when she was sure mommie and daddy weren't there and still she didn't take any clothing/toys for Caylee. I truly believe that little girl met her demise sometime between 6/15 and 6/16.

Some people are just not cut out for law enforcement. My brother was a cop for about a year, he quit because of politics... found out you could not arrest some kid if his dad was the mayor or some big shot. My middle son is a sheriff's deputy and has been a detective for several years. We had a case around here a few years ago where a woman stoned her two boys to death and nearly killed the baby. He was part of the team of first responders, and was there to gather evidence most of that day. His wife said he came home and put his head in his hands and cried for hours... it tore him up that it was little kids. He says you have to learn to detach yourself from any case, and not bring your work home. It's hard for him... but he's been with them for 18 years, and he's done really well.

Local 6 videotaped a man taping signs to a baby's playpen reading, "Protesters Babysitting Service."

Homeowners have accused protesters of bad parenting for bringing infants and young children to the Anthony's Orange County home -- even late at night.

The home has become a tourist attraction for some visitors to Orlando and at least one group planned a trip to see the home after Casey Anthony was released from jail for the third time.

Recently, children were videotaped holding death signs in their parent's arms outside the Anthony home.

The protesters did not like the "babysitting service" and mocked the man setting it up, Local 6 reported.

Meanwhile, a series of more than 550 text messages sent by Caylee Anthony's mother reveal the woman did not appear to be worried about her daughter in the days the girl was missing.

According to cell phone documents, in a two-month period between April and June, Casey Anthony sent her friend Amy Huizenga 553 text messages.

Of the messages, only two references are made to Caylee.

On May 13, Casey Anthony sent a text message that said, "My mom is taking the kid for the weekend for part of her vacation (with a smiley face)."

Then, less than a week before the toddler's disappearance, Casey Anthony announced, "Caylee just pooped in her potty for the first time. Sorry, proud mama."

The message was the last time Casey Anthony mentioned her daughter to Huizenga in text messages.

A week after the toddler vanished, Anthony sent a text to Huizenga that said, "Leaving for work in a few. I'll call you on my way to the house."

Casey Anthony did not have a job at Universal Studios or apparently anywhere else, Local 6 has learned.

On June 26, Casey Anthony wrote, "I need a freaking vacation."

The next day, a text message told Huizenga about how her car smelled like a dead animal -- and how it was possibly a squirrel that was run over.

Fifteen minutes later, Casey Anthony wrote, "My car ran out of gas again. Two weeks in a row. On Friday, my stupid car runs out of gas. Wow."

It now appears that Casey Anthony stole the gasoline cans from her father's back yard shed after she ran out of gas for the first time, Local 6 reported.

George Anthony seized the cans back from Casey Anthony.

Then, her vehicle's tank ran dry again, forcing her to abandon the car at an Amscot.

Two days later, on June 29, Casey Anthony sends a message to Huizenga," Can I borrow you and your gas can today?"

By that time, the car had already been towed.

Anthony told Huizenga that her father had picked up the car, which was not true, Local 6's Mike DeForest said.

It is very common for toddlers to climb up on things. My oldest climbed up on the refrigerator when he was 2 y.o.! I was at work, and my mother was keeping him... she nearly had a heart attack... had no clue how he managed that. All my boys were climbers and my 2 y.o. granddaughter is too... just like her daddy, he is the one who climbed on the fridge!

I hadn't read from Jesse about Caylee being a climber, but I did read something about Caylee would often climb up the bamboo and was able to jump in the pool after climbing the bamboo.
That's hard for me to visualize. I had bamboo when I lived in FL and it grows very quickly and very thickly, straight up, so I don't see how a 2-3 yrd old could shimmy up and then jump into the pool.

I don't see why Casey would purposely draw attention to herself. Maybe, she borrowed the shovel to dig a hole in the backyard, realized the neighbor would tell the police about it, if asked. So she returned the shovel and placed the body in the trunk. By that point, she might have thought the police would be misled, if they searched the backyard.
I don't think she could have drove somewhere w/ that shovel, in the short time she had it. It would be very interesting if testing shows the shovel wasn't used in the backyard.

Maybe I am looking to much into it.. But after reading so many docs. Casey seems to do a lot of set-ups..She used the dead animals to set up the smell..The apartment and Zanni was a set-up....Losing her second phone was a set-up.. The fact remains though that she is the ONE Zenaida who was the only one with any connection to the location of the disappearance of Caylee, according to Casey.

I very much agree! When I had first read the post about it, I had a very difficult time trying to visualize it. It wasn't until much later when I saw 2 photos of Caylee in the pool with G'ma & G'pa ... the massive bamboo was right up close to one side of the pool. I'm thinking more like she may have been able to climb the roots of the massive bamboo? You can also see how massive the bamboo is in the backyard by viewing the front portion of the house.
