She obviously wasn't arrested until late afternoon because I am looking at Brittany's phone records and Casey text messaged her at 16:13:51 on 16/07/08

So at 4:13 pm on the 16th - she was still text messaging her friends.

ITA - I looked for that in the docs and it was never brought up. Someone mentioned that Casey said she was going to PR with them but changed her mind several times.

If she did by chance, the prosecutor is using that in a capital murder charge in any statement made. That would counteract any attempt by the prosecution to choose a strategy for defense based on insanity. This would defeat defense to premeditation to a degree if they go that route with awareness to right and wrong. Documents already say she tried to cover the smell with squirrels in the engine compartment and an animal plastered to the frame. That is huge. That is a great indication that she has the ability to know right from wrong, and to create excuses. Insanity defense is OFF the table.

I'm not sure what to make of Lee. He seemed very forward in giving accurate information about everything. Except for why it took him so long to get Casey's things. Which may come out later. I also believe there can be neurological issues that cause this to happen. For him to be so forthcoming I'd say he has issues as to his giggling at inappropriate times. Just my opinion though.

That is correct. We can ponder why. I think Cindy was abusive, a virtual juggernaut of abuse verbally. I think Casey did not live up to expectations and Casey felt that pressure. It was building. Casey created a fantasy life sometime after Caylee was born, probably right after and during her dismissal from her high profile brag about job at Universal. She never recovered. She was broken on the 15th of June and did the unthinkable out of mere spite. None of this family will recover. True unpredictable tragedy.

I do think that Casey and Baez must be behind the videos/pictures sold for "licensing fees" and this new deal that is supposedly being drawn up with Lifetime. The reason I am sure it must be them is that AFAIK, no one but the parent or guardian of a minor child may legally allow that childs image to be used publically...NO OTHER PARTY, except AFAIK LE can use it for Amber Alerts, etc.
I know this as my oldest acts in some small budget films, theatre, etc. and even for the schools website she must have my written/signed consent. I missed ONE signature on a film set once and they spent the evening tracking me down for that one signature.
The only way Caylee's image can be used in entertainment venues is with parental consent. IMO, but i've never known that not to be true.
CASEY can sign that right off to her attorney to "broker"...but there must be parental consent.

The info we get is just amazing in volumes, we sometimes forget what we just read last week. And to know LE is holding back and has even said there is forensic testing that they are keeping back that leads them to believe Caylee is dead.

With the protesters and Casey doing stupid things like calling 911....BIG MISTAKE......NOT LOOKING FOR CAYLEE........and just basically hanging out.........why would LE want to stop now?

I have to say I really think JB is really trying to pull in all deals. I remember when LP and crew came to town and they seem to be told there was more to the story than we all knew and that we would be surprised. (mentioned at a site we can't mention). I think JB is still telling this to all of the media outlets (possibly through the spokesperson media guy). If this is true, which is all moo I am not sure he took the case for any other reason.

Great post! This is what happened with the videos and pictures for the 20/20 news show on ABC. The Anthonys and JB denied receiving money, because they did not receive any money directly, they were paid for licensing fees for use of the videos and pictures.

That is what I believe is happening regarding a possible movie deal. No money will be paid directly if and when it happens, but money will be paid to a third party, that way the Anthonys and JB can say they were not paid (directly)! Also, deals and offers can be made through a third party, so JB and the Anthonys can say they are not "directly" talking to anyone.

For any with a legal background. Is sending letters to her family a no-no? I thought it was discussed when the letters were first rumored, and Katprint or some other weighed in and said that latters would be monitored likwe the phone calls...so Jo-Say shouldn't be taking them out and skirting the law.

Maybe even more folks under the watchful eye of LE than we had "hoped"...( I actually "hope" that Caylee would come home safe and everyone would be found innocent of all the nasty stuff and get ALOT of therapy so they could live hapily ever after...I wish, but I don't think any of that is very reality based...)

Let me start by explaining what kind of work Miranda does. Cadaver K-9's are used to locate human remains following a natural or manmade disaster, as well as drownings. There are two kinds of searches that Cadaver dogs perform- underwater searches and land searches.

Underwater searches are not as common as land searches for most cadaver trained canines. A specialty subset of cadaver dogs are water cadaver dogs. Those dogs trained in underwater searches have been trained to find the odor of decomposing human remains. However, water cadaver dogs have been specifically trained to locate and indicate the source of the odor to assist divers in a more directed and speedy recovery of a drowning victim. A water search dog is trained to detect human scent that is in or under the water.

The handler and dog are a team and usually work in a boat. Currents and general changes in the water can make it hard to pinpoint the location of a body. I can't tell you how many times a swift current has moved the body or even the boat caused it to relocate.
It can take hours to locate a body, or even days. We have a dive team on hand to go right in, once we make a determination, by playing a buoy outside the boat to mark the spot. A diver should be ready to search as soon as the dog indicates to increase the changes of making the recovery.

I just got done watching Nancy Grace. I really used to love watching her show but she is starting to irritate me and my S/O. She is getting more rude and not caring about anyone's feelings or opinions. Why have defense attorney's on your show if you don't care to hear their opinion and when they give one you are rude to them and cut them off and rude again.

Although the one defense attorney that is out of Atlanta was a bit on the ditzy side tonight when she said Casey may not have known Caylee was missing when she sent those text messages. DUH!! She knew. She told LE Caylee was taken on the 9th which we know was wrong.

S/O thinks Casey has or had no perception of dates because she was living the lifestyle she was living. She had no job she was free to do what she wanted when she wanted after getting rid of Caylee so dates were not something she needed to retain. Unless it's a LIE then Casey doesn't have to know it or remember it. I tend to agree.

Another thing. When NG' show was coming on she said LE believe Caylee was placed in a dumpster at the Amscot but during the show itself she did not go into that other than to ask Padilla about it.

Do LE believe Casey put Caylee in that dumpster or not?

Last but not least in this post of mine. Why does NG keep running the same bits of the tapes/audio of Casey being questioned over and over and over again?
My S/O has them memorized now because of that. It's getting annoying. They need to start giving updated info and audio not the same stuff for over a week.

IMO I think most of the time Caylee was with Cindy or George, she just told her friends she was with the nanny, and Cindy thought she was a work.

The few times she wasnt' with them I think she just found a friend to watch her. But after June 16th I don't think she required a nanny or babysitter anymore unfortunatly.:(

I am not sure , but I believe that it depends on what kind of account it is. This was a trust, not a charity so I don't think it has that responsibility.

I am Canadian eh so the law could be different. I think the account was no different than any trust except that because it was to "help find Caylee" that is what the trust has to be used for. Any stipulations would be set before the account was open.moo

I don't think that the problem peole have is with what they spent that was actually put into the fund. i think the problem is that money was sent to them directly and was not put into the fund. No, she can always take the fifth in a civil case if anything might have to testify to might incriminate her in a criminal case. If she were tried and acquitted of all criminal charges, then she could be forced to testify (like someone else had to, now what was his name, oh yeah, OJ).

I just got done watching Nancy Grace. I really used to love watching her show but she is starting to irritate me and my S/O. She is getting more rude and not caring about anyone's feelings or opinions. Why have defense attorney's on your show if you don't care to hear their opinion and when they give one you are rude to them and cut them off and rude again.

Although the one defense attorney that is out of Atlanta was a bit on the ditzy side tonight when she said Casey may not have known Caylee was missing when she sent those text messages. DUH!! She knew. She told LE Caylee was taken on the 9th which we know was wrong.

S/O thinks Casey has or had no perception of dates because she was living the lifestyle she was living. She had no job she was free to do what she wanted when she wanted after getting rid of Caylee so dates were not something she needed to retain. Unless it's a LIE then Casey doesn't have to know it or remember it. I tend to agree.

Another thing. When NG' show was coming on she said LE believe Caylee was placed in a dumpster at the Amscot but during the show itself she did not go into that other than to ask Padilla about it.

Do LE believe Casey put Caylee in that dumpster or not?

Last but not least in this post of mine. Why does NG keep running the same bits of the tapes/audio of Casey being questioned over and over and over again?
My S/O has them memorized now because of that. It's getting annoying. They need to start giving updated info and audio not the same stuff for over a week.

Nancy is getting rude again.. I hate it when she does that. A theory that is in a public report states that the theory is that Caylee died - drown in the pool and was dumped in a dumpster.. Nancy interupts and says, (paraphrased) "no, that doesn't explain the chloroform searches"...

IMO - I really am not sure the chloroform was involved in her death. Why is Nancy so sure about it? I think it could have been used by George to clean the trunk out.

Certainly the FBI found the dates of the searches on the hard drive. The laptop was at Tony's.imo

The last time I heard George was out there, he had pictures of other missing children also BUT it was reported that the donations were for Caylee.

I agree with you. Her suit would go further with suing those who defamed her on here and other message boards rather than suing Casey. UNLESS they can prove she was using that particular Z's information for her story. It's going to be interesting to see how this plays out.

Good question. IIRC in the beginning when the Anthonys joined KF, they went to rallys for missing children, part of KF's good will so to speak, who put up the funds for the sign GA towed around. I think Cindy,George & Lee spoke out for this organization in Daytona beach. I have not heard of them attending any fundraisers since then. I wonder of KF is under investingation as well. JMO wondering.
This is all so sad, taking out good people who truly supported the searching to Caylee, what they must think now after the release of these docs. I wonder if KF still stands behind them.

I cant see casey using it to knock caylee out so she can party all night--it isnt a long lasting thing--it would knock her out for 20 minutes at a time at best.
casey wasnt going to go out to the car to knock caylee out every 20 minutes, that would take away from her 'fun'--plus people would wonder why she was going outside all the time.

We haven't heard that she used any information of Zenaida's, just her name and with all of the documents released I believe we'd have heard if she used any info other then the name. When shown a picture of Zenaida she said that it wasn't her so I don't know how a lawyer plans to sue Casey. I haven't read the whole article yet. Has an attorney taken the case or is it just talk?

At first I thought Casey stole at a party or from a friend, then looked it up on the net to see what uses it was for or how much money she could get for it and in some way Caley got it in her system and OD`d......threw up in the process was put in the trunk and that is where the contact was made.........

HOWEVER why where there flies alive in that trunk at the tow yard?........Was it Cindy who introduced the CH by trying to clean up the trunk?......did she then do searches on the net to see if she could of successfully degraded DNA.......maybe she got the stuff in the beginning in some way with her nursing job or when she helped move her dad to the nursing home......maybe he had an old container of it?.....who knows but I also wonder why about the same time the Chloroform evidence comes out C&G hire ONE defense lawyer?? Is he really just going to represent ONE of them?

Why did LE "LEAK" the CH testing to begin with? Did they want to see what the Anthonys reaction would be? Did they want to see if someone would come forward with the origin of the CH? Did their LEAK work for them?


I thought Dr Kobilinski said that chloroform was used to help extract dna in the lab, if that is true then it wouldnt get rid of dna, it would help keep it no?
