WFTV Orlando is really all over this stuff.
I think that Kathy Belich(sp?) has been awesome.
Cindy made it personal when she accused protesters of being paid by Kathy.
All Kathy did was ask questions that the A's did not want to answer!

I agree about Kathy Belich, she has not backed down on this at all.

Wishful thinking of most posters parts??? Oh, I see. So the lies, the spins and so on from the Anthony's is one thing, but lets see, "It smells like there has been a dead body in the damn car" but WAIT, I will wash the pants that were in THAT SAID car does not seem like obstruction? I personally feel that Cindy just got away with it is all.

That is a far cry from FACT to wishful thinking on most posters parts. No wishful thinking on my part. If it quack like a da**ed duck, it's a duck! JMO, of course.

POST OF THE DAY...:beer:IMO

Seemed too good of a rumor. The vitriol toward the family is intense, but we don't have to fall for manufactured rumors to hate them more than necessary.

EXCELLENT post.

That is why I keep questioning where the money is coming from to pay for JB, bodyguards, security cameras, public relations representative, a high priced defense attorney for the Athoneys and everyday living expenses. No one could be survive on the pay you receive from Disney, believe me, I know people that work there. I also wonder if George is working because he was always available whenever we saw the protesters.

This stopped being about Caylee the minute the Anthoneys realized they could make money off of whatever happened to their granddaughter.

Caylee it isn't fair, is it?

Don't you remember-George is searching 24 hours a day for Caylee?!
Pfft-when does he have time for a job?! I am not quite sure that this has ever really been about Caylee. I have never seen a family care so little for a beautiful child.

At this point-i admit it is wishful thinking on my part. For a family to take donations from people (some in their 80's) to search for a missing little girl that we all have come to love is just wrong in my book. And the next family that really MIGHT need to search for their grandaughter will not get the help they need. Cindy by law should have reported the $40,000.00 that Casey stole. It is elder abuse. Nope she just covered it up. She is wrong. She covered that up-what makes people think she isn't covering Caylee's death up also? And to think they might profit from this -just makes me sick.

God can deal with me later. I spose :(...

Great post Day.......

It's in the documents ... Tony told Amy he received a text from Casey on the 16th ... and the text was "if they don't find her, who do you think will be spending an eternity ..."

The detective responded that there was no way she could have texted that on the 16th.

IMO

Amy was confused when recalling the date - in the end I think she decided it was the morning of the 16th. Casey wasn't arrested until the afternoon, IMO.

I just listened to the video re: lifetime deal. It is said at the end that the Anthony's and their lawyer said no deals have been made, lifetime says no deal has been made and the spokesman from JB said nothing.

I am really starting to wonder if JB is doing all of this, including defending Casey just for the money deals. I really am starting to think that is all he cares about.

And ABC said they didn't pay anyone for the videos and pictures of Caylee.

The bodyguards get paid $1500 a week!! That's alot. Something is going on with their money situation...I feel certain of that. We will see...it will all come out in the wash.

I have heard it as well, but when I searched, I couldn't find anything about it being a necessity. Would be a good question to ask NG if anyone gets through tonight.

I found this:

When Are Grand Juries Used?
In Florida, a Grand Jury indictment is only required when a person is accused of a capital (death penalty) offense.

I think it will let Lifetime or any other networks know not to even THINK about it. Besides, any portrayal of this outrageous bunch wouldn't be able to do justice to who they are in real life.

Broderick
09-24-2008, 08:15 PM
Oh how I agree Broderick!!!!.......I also believe what they really want to go for Capitol Murder ........and that is gonna take time. They have to get it all together to go in front of a Grand Jury. This whole case is very abnormal and just the lies alone and all the characters in this whole mess takes a lot of time and CAREFUL PLAINING. The drama is still playing out and the presure in that house of cards has to be out of this word who knows what will happen next. Casey has put a lot of people through PURE HELL especially LE who have been racing around against the clock to find Caylee while Casey does nothing but lie. They really have a lot at stake here and need to take there time.

Baez is just trying to push them into doing something too soon.

Isn't it amazing just how spectacular the information is every time it comes out. Just when you think there can't be more turns, it takes turns that nobody could predict.

I still believe the simplest explanation is the right explanation. Most people most likely had it right from the very beginning. Casey killed Caylee. She put her in the trunk and created whatever is going on at whatever moment she felt she had to.

I don't remember that one. I guess I read too fast too.

the exact quote is below which was from Amy in her interview, stating what Tony told her AND that Amy also said LE already was aware of the statement, and she stated it again in response to this question:

page 43: http://www.orlandosentinel.com/media/acrobat/2008-09/42528488.pdf

"anything in that 1.5 conversation on the 17th with Tony that we need to know about":

"If they never find her, guess who spends eternity in jail"

Casey texted that to Tony. (and Amy hashed out the date to be the morning of her arrest, she was arrested in the afternoon.

best regards,
Pru

ITA - I looked for that in the docs and it was never brought up. Someone mentioned that Casey said she was going to PR with them but changed her mind several times.

I too did not find any reference to her purchasing tickets, or picking them up....however, her going with them, yes, that was mentioned.

I guess even if they aren't going to go for the death penalty they could still take it to a Grand Jury. I wonder what the benefits are for the prosecution to do that. I would love, if Caylee's body were found, for there to be a death penalty case. I just don't see it. I think a jury would have a hard time with all of the witnesses coming forward saying she was a good mom prior. But what do I know, rofl!

It wasn't in Tony's interview ... and Amy seemed rather flustered about bringing it up ... reiterating a couple of times that Tony told her he had advised LE of the text message ... I wonder if the officers had surprised looks on their faces when she mentioned it.

I do think that Casey and Baez must be behind the videos/pictures sold for "licensing fees" and this new deal that is supposedly being drawn up with Lifetime. The reason I am sure it must be them is that AFAIK, no one but the parent or guardian of a minor child may legally allow that childs image to be used publically...NO OTHER PARTY, except AFAIK LE can use it for Amber Alerts, etc.
I know this as my oldest acts in some small budget films, theatre, etc. and even for the schools website she must have my written/signed consent. I missed ONE signature on a film set once and they spent the evening tracking me down for that one signature.
The only way Caylee's image can be used in entertainment venues is with parental consent. IMO, but i've never known that not to be true.
CASEY can sign that right off to her attorney to "broker"...but there must be parental consent.
