I believe there were no calls that day because Casey was ridding of Caylee, and knew that her cell phone calls would be traced eventually. She didn't realize however that NO calls that day would send up a red flag as much as if she had made many calls that day as she NORMALLY did imo.

About the polygraphs...doesn't it seem that Lee put the nix on that? Maybe they would have taken one (CinA and Ga) if Lee hadn't advised against it. Does Lee know something, or have something to hide?

Greta had phone records? I haven't seen Greta do anything on legal issues (except a little thing on OJ, I think), since Palin became her new thing. I'm disappointed in Greta. She's great at whatever she does, but now she's just repeating whatever Hannity and Colmes and everybody else does, except for her interview with the "First Dude" in Alaska. I so wish she'd stick with the legal stuff we're so interested in. I watch NG, but always look to Greta and her panel to really flesh out things a little deeper.

Regina, I think IF that is true it's a mother who is grasping at straws, literally unable to accept the fact that her daughter may have killed her granddaughter.

However, I keep in mind that this is "according to Geraldo".....did he mention he heard this FROM Cindy herself? I don't think so, though I didn't watch the show. Also didn't Jesse just say he had "heard" it also? Obviously Cindy didn't say it to him. So these are two people who "heard" that Cindy is saying this.

Not defending Cindy, but just saying this could be a rumor which, like so many other rumors, gets repeated enough until people are running with it like it's the gospel truth.

I don't see it as "proof" that Cindy believes Caylee is dead. (Although I do think deep in her subconscious she knows she is dead.)

I kind of expected it. Once the family realized no one was buying the nanny story, they had to change the story to include evidence found/leaked.

Normally (key word here), I would feel sympathy for a family of both the victim and the accused. But I honestly cannot dredge up any for the Anthonys. This proves that they are not in denial, simply in cover-up for Casey.

So is this a 'recent' report about what Cindy is saying? I don't doubt you...I have had some moments with Geraldo tho...if you know what I mean ;)
I guess I have a bit of time understanding what Cindy does and what a contrast it is to what she (doesn't) do..she is all over the map. I know there is a major step process in grief, but generally folks don't bounce around 'daily/hourly'...well actually if/when they do it is generally towards the end.
Or maybe we are seeing them wearing down, grasping at straws as a final surrender to the truth which should be at least somewhat obvious to them. Of course once they 'go there' there is no going back..hence the grasping.
These folks may have (!) had some dysfunction going on before...but even that world as they knew it...is over.

I'm new to the whole texting thing, and not very good at it according to my offspring. I know my phone saves them and I have to delete them myself.

Wouldn't the person who got them also have to delete them themselves? maybe if her's were deleted, the ones she send might be on other's phones?

ITA. I saw a few minutes of his interview last night, and he seems like a nice young man imo. Quite candid about not ready to be a father, but when he knew that was not a possibility he loved Casey and was willing to step up to the plate even if she wasn't his. Casey blew it by May of 2006.

Does it really matter? There are so many boards out there. Practically every newspaper and TV station have their own blogs. There is no way the Sentinel could have named them all. I believe Tricia (from WS) was also on a radio station last night. The main thing is that the word is out there. People are concerned about a missing child.

IIRC, I'm pretty sure LE can retrieve text messages, because in Detroit former Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick was busted and jailed on perjury charges, etc...due to text messages that had been retrieved from his cell and his secretary/mistress' cell from a few years prior.

yes by the LE. i'm not sure how long providers keep them but the LE retrieved about 4 months worth from my daughters acct.

One of the kidnappers killed their own child as an example of what would happen to Caylee?

I think all the anthonys will be throwing one another under the bus before long. I do believe they've each got at least some part of the puzzle. I have always thought that Lee has got the most info that he isn't sharing. Waaay back- in those first phone calls from jail- Casey is speaking with Lee. She says something like "My gut feeling? right now? I think CAylee is ok" Those are not the exact words but however she said it, made me think that Casey was talking not so much about an alive caylee, but more of her body/gravesight/hiding place. It sounded to me as though casey was trying to get across to Lee that LE wasn't close to finding Caylee. Lee seemed to understand.

Last night there was a big uproar here about the fact that Jesse said Cindy would refer to herself as mommy in front of Casey. I heard him say that himself BUT after sleeping on this I have a big question about it.
Did JESSE himself hear this or did the LIAR tell him this for sympathy?
He sure was a sweet young man and I bet he believed everything she said. He was certainly in love with her.
I would also like to point out if Cindy is trying to pin this on Jesse by saying he put Caylee in the trunk then IS SHE ADMiTTING Caylee is dead?

From what I can see, I think WS does more investigating, digging deeper into everything and then reporting to LE if necessary. Here, we tend to just discuss our opinions and many times pull a link from WS. I'm so new to these boards, I didn't even know they existed until my cousin in AZ sent me a quote off of one of them. I chose to hook up here trying to remain a bit more inconspicuous than on the WS board. Having said that, I am glad to see so much activity out there. People from both boards actually went to Orlando to join in the search. I'm close enough (about 4 hours) and my daughter lives very near the area (passes by Amscot every day) but I didn't go up there, mainly becasue I couldn't withstand the heat, sun, and humidity. I would have been passing out. I doubt I will be up there until late November/early December to welcome my first grandchild. I'm tickled pink it's a girl. But I know I am going to want to be driving past some of the main places myself, just out of curiosity. I would drive past the Anthony home, but would never stop or yell anything.

I live only about two hours away from Orlando but haven't had any desire to go there and check anything out. If I were there for another reason I would drive by some of the places also. I was in Orlando for May for a trip to Disney but that was before all this broke.

There was Caylees hair in the trunk but I have wondered if it were Caylees body there. What if it WAS someone else and unknown people are holding Caylee as hostage so Casey won't talk until geez maybe the other body decomps.

Jesse said on Geraldo that he was at the Anthony house and heard Cindy refer to herself as "mommy" to Caylee. Geraldo was using the word "mama" which could understandably be used for "Grandma". I used to keep a little girl years ago, long ugly story, but she has an uncanny resemblance to Caylee at that age where Casey & Caylee were walking in the back yard at the Oviedo house. Anyway, this little girl often slipped and called me mommy, just because I had her so much and because of the relationship between us. Though I would have loved to have taken her and raised her, I would remind her to call me by my name. She would just giggle.

Casey had AT&T and they keep text messages FOREVER......but they just dont like to admit it.

After reading about Richard, I wouldn't doubt he contacted the A's. He seems like such a loving compassionate person I could see him extending grace to them. Maybe that is when the accusation against Jesse happened. Just speculating here.

The calls on June 16th are interesting, they began at 3:03 p.m. and lasted only one minute. The reporter on Greta mentioned that a text message could show up as a one minute call. If they were text messages, I surely hope LE has a way to retrieve them.

I wondered that myself. Will the text messages be saved somewhere within the phone company and retrievable by the LE? I think they are. I once received a text through Nextel but it didn't have the senders name or info available. I called Nextel to find out who sent the text, they were unable to tell me. After many minutes of arguing, I asked how does LE subpeana records if you idiots don't keep them, I was told they do keep them but they are only available through subpeana. On the site I will go on, you can find out who filed BK and when, what Chapter BK they filed. It's all free but you need to register and get a password. The only thing that costs (8 cents per page) is if you want specific docs from the BK case...i.e., what debts were included in the filing, etc., etc. I have no interest in that. But whenever possible I like to see for MYSELF if certain "facts" thrown around are true. And this is one thing I am able to check personally. Not much I can, but when I can, I do! :)

ITA w/your post Regina. My thoughts have always been that when this baby's body is recovered (and it wll be) that the family will certainly blame the dealth/murder on someone else. This has been their goal for sometime now. We could all see what they were going to do. First it was Caylee was kidnapped...media and LE would be to blame if she was found dead..now it will be one of Cayse's friends/ex-boyfriends that will be to blame. It will be anybody's faught except for their daughter. They have known for sometime she is dead and then they started putting out other theories fr the murder. I not sure who Krause is but thought it was the TES spokeswoman. Maybe they are going to annouce they'll be back but searching other areas of FL based on LE's input. LE may have learned of other areas Casey was pinged and/or seen during the 31 long days Caylee first went missing. JMO.

I really don't think ( i could be wrong) that Tim will be able to come back very soon. I think they suffered a LOT of damage in the hurricane.

Looking and listening back on the tapes in light of what we know today, yeah, it does sound like code. It's almost like Lee is asking Casey how confident is she that LE won't find Caylee's body. Frankly I think whether or not she filed BK in April is not important to anything. But.....I'm curious to find out whether it is correct or not. If not, then it's a rumor that can be put to rest.

I have thought since the original bond hearing that Cindy was trying her level best at backtracking on that last 911 call....Casey blames her for that and Cindy accepts that 'blame/guilt'. Although there is no way to 'unring' a bell...once again we have a case where the player(s) never thought it would get such media attention.
We certainly have seen that be the downfall for the POI in many other cases, not the least being Scott Peterson.
Just imagine if Cindy had not called 911 that last time...nobody would have been any the wiser...and Caylee would just be 'gone'...like they are trying to make it look like now.

It also might have worked out that way if Casey reported Caylee missing within hours not days of the last time she "saw" her. IMO. They probably wanted to get rid of Tim and TES when they discovered that they should give TES a share of their "search" money. JMO They did not want anyone to find a dead Caylee or stop the cash flow. JMO

"We" will never understand this despicable family..thank God, because "we" do not function on that plane. Although posters here do not always agree on the details, most everyone that posts here displays personal integrity and a well-developed sense of the moral/ethical sense of right vs. wrong.

I am so done with the Anthonys. I know that LE and DAs usually cut the families of the accused a lot of slack, but am hoping that they make an exception in this case. I want them to be charged with every infraction (re lying, obstruction, etc) they have committed. If they get off scot free, what will happen in future murder cases, when the family decides to protect the accused? I think the Anthonys are starting to make SP's parents look better!

I believe there were no calls that day because Casey was ridding of Caylee, and knew that her cell phone calls would be traced eventually. She didn't realize however that NO calls that day would send up a red flag as much as if she had made many calls that day as she NORMALLY did imo.

The calls on June 16th are interesting, they began at 3:03 p.m. and lasted only one minute. The reporter on Greta mentioned that a text message could show up as a one minute call. If they were text messages, I surely hope LE has a way to retrieve them.

Also, I have been on before and thought a lot of posters were way too judgmental on so many things, but, I have read this whole thread and see that a lot of you have lived some hard things and are much deeper than some of the posts seem to show. So, my apologies for making an unfair judgement myself.
I personally think Cindy's saying Mom could have been a blip on Cindy's part, because I have slipped up and do that some with my grandchildren. I also call my grandchildren by my children's name and vice versa some!!

I read everyonce in a while about other posters theories about Caylee's demise. I'd really like to hear more detailed comments from posters who don't think Casey was involved, who believe in a kidnapper(s), who think Caylee's alive.

I desperately want to believe this child's still alive and well. I want to have that hope too. Please explain more because I (speaking only for myself) am trying to allow my mind to be open but as each day goes by without any cooperation from Casey, I can't help but more closer to believing 100% that Casey and Casey alone is responsible for this horror. I am also within a few percentage points of believing her family is well aware of it and is now milking the public, Cindy's job, and anyone/thing they can to make a living off this poor child. That they call it a "trust" fund makes me want to cry.

I don't think I'm the only one out here in cyberland who wants to have faith but is losing faith every day. If you believe Caylee's alive or that any Anthony isn't involved, please help me understand why you feel that way.

I saw a group photo posted somewhere that was suppose to have Casey and Melinda in it which must have been proven false or it would have been all over by now. But if did make me wonder if they might have known each other. I wonder if she didn't follow the case too. It seems Cindy must have as stern as she was with the public getting off their butts in Caylee's search, I can't imagine she could say that and not have at least done something at the time to help with another missing child case in the area.

I agree Miami...Have you seen the WS threads on the Anthonys' Donations? Those posters have done an outstanding job on tracking down the financial improprieties with the search fund. They were instrumental in getting the trust closed IMO.

ITA. Panicked people worried about their kidnapped loved one don't typically hole up at a "neutral" place and go around in circles, IMO. They pick up the phone or they hightail to the closest LE and beg for help. I guess most "normal" folks don't have the outside resources the Anthonys do to search for a "kidnapped" baby. JMO.

No, the guy who made the visit was Patrick Bourgeois, some guy Casey probably didn't give the time of day to in High School. Padilla says that William Waters was a guy she just met on July 4.

Cool that your bro worked on the McGuire case. Not only was it high profile, it was infamous imo. She was convicted of murdering her husband, then dismembering him, packing him in his luggage and then tossing him from the Chesapeake Bay Tunnel Bridge. She was quite the defendant. Joe Tacopina was her attorney.

Padilla insists there is no Laura Rose. It is a made up name on MySpace. Waters has a MySpace page, this Laura Rose posted something in his page and on the page of the Zenaida F-G, whose identity was stolen by Casey. Why are these people important? They are not. They have nothing to do with the investigation or Caylee.

I think that was at the time she started refusing visits because of the airing of her visit with Patrick. She started refusing to talk to her parents and Lee also.

One of the things that bother me is
Caseys statement to lee when he asked her about being at US. She wasnt there for work or fun. Lee knows alot of stuff he isnt revealing.
Almost 2 years Casey hasnt had a job. Rumors about drug & prostitution.
I am starting to believe Casey may have gotten herseof tangled up in something bad.
I am trying to keep an open mind and listen to every theory because I dont know the truth.

If the amount has ever been verified, I have missed it.

$4.5K could easily be blown by living 'high on the hog' over a short period of time- but $45.0K is a significant amount of money.

I'm sure that LE has a very good idea, but other than the charges related to Amy, they haven't released anything else about it.

I think it is important to follow the money to track Casey's movements since May or earlier.

I am very glad that the A's are under pressure to account for any money that they collect as donations to for Caylee. It really burns me up that under the "volunteer" page on the Help Find Caylee site, the A's only need volunteers to donate to Caylee's fund! :flamemad:
