Some here are crying out wondering why charge have yet to be brought in Caylees death...If they were I strongly suspect those same folks would begin crying against a "rush to judgement". Certainly, there is no need to rush them along for Caylee. She is past caring about earthly matters.
I hear daily how "we" are just pushing for information that we have no right to, that we should be patient and all will someday be revealed...that is true, and I do find it hard to be patient...but why then do the same people complain daily about why charges are taking so long? have they no patience for LE?
Three months seems an eternity to me in a matter concerning a missing child...but it is a very short time in the scope of any murder investigation, especially on a trail grown cold.
Methinks that when the charges come down the pike, that those who come here just to judge other posters and sit contemptuously on a high horse will just move on to the next case and find the contray position to take up as their cause celebre. I really don't believe everyone has the capacity to care for others...maybe that is why the care which posters here have for this child is beyond the comprehension of some. Casey is surely lacking in that capacity herself.

I promise you, if Caylee is found alive I will be here in full force eating crow and thanking God. Mark my name down, I'll be here and I'll be grateful to be proven wrong.
I promise that I will be here every day until I see Caylee's remains treated with the care that Caylee should have revceived in life.
I cannot refute logic and evidence just to stay "compassionate" or nuetral...This is about what is true, not what is comfortable for me to accept. Sadly, I face daily the fact that our children are not safe, not even from their own parents. That makes me mighty uncomfortable, but it is truth and I must face it.
If Casey did not act alone, will you still be here crying for justice for Caylee against all who wronged her? I will...I know many "friends" I have here will too. Someone harmed Caylee, either her own mother, or her mother and others...that is what the evidence proves to me and what it will prove in a court of law.

I agree that it's obviously best, but immediately reporting someone missing doesn't always guarantee rapid discovery either, - take Elizabeth Smart, Hornbeck, or the many others who have been found alive after having been gone much longer than Caylee has.

I know the minute mention in the documents, but there should also be a separate, detailed report from the handlers that would only appear for trial purposes.

Sorry about the leg...it is good with no cast. Happened to my son he got a rod, end screws etc Stay off for 8 weeks-REALLY. And within 2 weeks after that you will be walking fine. No limp. jUst stay off it. Trust me I lived it last year and it had great results....

It's an unfortunate fact of life that a large group of people will have opposing sides, and will disagree often. I try to understand other's opinions, and hope that they try to understand mine.
What bothers me the most is that it's all supposed to be about Caylee, and it's getting to be more about Casey... very sad! She does not deserve anyone's sympathy or compassion, but I don't think her parents asked for this. They are probably regretting the mistakes they made in raising her. I don't expect them to act rationally after 2 months of living in this nightmare... but Casey brought it on them, and they have to realize that sometime. Casey could end it all... today, if she had the guts to turn herself back in and stay her butt in jail. But don't hold your breath waiting for that to happen!
I hope that this little angel girl can be found soon. She did not deserve this!

Did you watch the Melanie Maguire trial? I remember skin cells were very important in that case. The prosecution asserted that the skin cells found on the floor of William's car were from a deceased William. The defense claimed the skin cells could have come from an injury, like your skin getting caught in a watch band.
In Caylee's case, I think it would be hard to come up with an explanation for these type of cells being in the trunk. In William's case, the were on the floorboard of the driver side. It was a little easier to explain away, IMO.

Sadly, I face daily the fact that our children are not safe, not even from their own parents. That makes me mighty uncomfortable, but it is truth and I must face it.
If Casey did not act alone, will you still be here crying for justice for Caylee against all who wronged her? I will...I know many "friends" I have here will too. Someone harmed Caylee, either her own mother, or her mother and others...that is what the evidence proves to me and what it will prove in a court of law.

IIRC, they used that account for personal care needs and when they went to retreive money it was empty so they called great grandmom and then it was discovered casey took the money;;greatgranny wanted to press charges but cindy talked her out of it and paid back the account. {and i sent you an PM}

That nurse is required to report that abuse...not to make a determination of whether or not it constitutes abuse...that is the job of investigators and social workers, etc. LE and the judicial body must make further actions if A/N/E has been found to have likely occurred by filing charges, making arrests, and trying the case in court.

As far as I know the only info we have on the money from the great grandparents are from Rick (topix forums) he claimed that there was a check Casey got 3 hundred and some dollars from the grandmother and that she took a check from the great grandfathers account with was set up for the NH only so no money was actually taken from that account. I could be wrong but this is how I understood it. I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong.

Actually, it would be custodial interference. The taking of a child from his or her parent with the intent to interfere with that parent's physical custody of the child. This is a crime in most states, even if the taker also has custody rights.

An area teen mother (19 years old) and baby lived with her parents. Her parents paid all of the teen and baby's expenses. One night after a major argument, the 19 year old packs up their things and attempts to leave with the baby. LE was called. Because the young lady did not have a job or a place to live, LE told her she would have to leave the baby with her parents or DCF would be notified.

I have no idea if LE was correct in what they told the teen, but she did leave the baby. That was 2 years ago. The grandparents now have guardianship. Maybe one of our lawyer posters could give their opinion.

You are probably right day! So many things COULD have stopped this tragedy, but you just dont' know at that time. You can only make the decision you feel is right at the time, you never know what may happen either way. There is a situation in my family similar with an overbearing mother, a daughter, granddaughter, new baby on the way..it's very scary and when giving my opinion now, after this case.. I am leary. You just never know what people are capable of. They should have turned her in when they knew she was stealing, but it's so hard to do that with a family member, let alone your own daughter.

I think Cindy did know about the $400 Casey took from Amy, though, at the time of the 911 calls on July 15th. Amy had told her about it on the way to find Casey. Amy told her in response to what Cindy was telling her about Casey stealing the Anthony's credit cards. But Amy wouldnt find out about her check being stolen until later that night.

I look at others life, life style and realize how lucky I am. But all families have their dysfunction, my family (not immediate) has quite a few lol.. Sadly though, i see two.. ok 3 women in my family that I think are capable of doing what Casey has done.. Very scary.

Actually yes, she has blamed ZFG and also blamed "someone else" for sticking a dead body in the car. Maybe she hasn't blamed (as I sit her thinking) ZFG so much as believed, or at least portrayed that she believed Casey. But she has placed blame on others. Oh, she also blamed the media too. Or set the blame in motion by saying something along the lines of if they find Caylee dead it would be their fault. I'm sure someone else remembers that.. but i could be wrong :)

Don't be so hard on yourself, as much as we all try not to, you can't help but get caught up in the moment. There is a beautiful little angel out there somewhere, dead or alive she needs to come home. For you shel :rose:

I look at others life, life style and realize how lucky I am. But all families have their dysfunction, my family (not immediate) has quite a few lol.. Sadly though, i see two.. ok 3 women in my family that I think are capable of doing what Casey has done.. Very scary.

I know that something is wrong with Casey, but something seems soooo wrong..there is a feeling about this girl, this family, this case.. i dont' know. Could be that others have pointed out things that I would have never assumed. It's impossible to imagine doing something like this, I go over it and over it in my head because I simply can't imagine, can't put myself in her shoes.. I don't know..sorry for rambling..

I say things too because my child was taken and the LE and volunteers brought her home to me - I think I just get real frustrated because I want this to have the same outcome.

I believe that Casey probably had undivided attention while young, she was probably the apple of her fathers eye. They gave and gave, she took and took. When she got older, she continued, only she now knew how to manipulate, so she used that aquired skill. That starts young, you can see that in "some" kids at a very young age. I'm thinking she was always called sweetheart, baby or honey. Oddly enough we sometimes say "that kid gets away with murder".. We are seeing that first hand with casey IMO. Only I don't think she'll get away with this one.
Cindy would have treated Caylee the same way, only a bit more, because she would have tried to do just a little bit better with her. Hope I'm making sense. All just my opinion, no links, no facts.

Oh i think casey thinks she will get away with murder ..but she won't. I also wonder WHY the Anthony's are acting like this (shoving elderly women...brawling with hammers) IF Caylee is alive...do they think that CFS will just give her to them? And if they do..will they raise another Casey?

Young ladies even with babies and no jobs can and do impose upon their friends for a roof, and possibly a handout. And, once Casey left w/no money, it is quite reasonable to expect she could have actually gotten a job @ a fast food place, convenient store, etc. Or, baby sit or do house work where she found shelter. And, it appears that even Cindy and George know that Casey knows how to steal money if she needs it---kind of like stealing money from her new BFF Amy?

I don't think that Caylee, while she was alive after leaving the A's went for days without food. Heck, one who knows how to steal money surely is an accomplished shop-lifter, too.

What you've described, IMO, is not raising children to become responsible, productive members of society, but rather enabling children who on occasion, grow into monsters.

We say (mother and myself) the same thing. They dont' learn to be independent, can't handle things on their own.. very unproductive and dangerous too. Not all of them, but some of them. I could go on and on LOL.

Sadly Caylee seems to have payed the ultimate price. I would love to believe that she is in PR , or with some family, but I just don't see that. Something like that would make this case that much more convoluted IMO. Who can come up with such a plot? It's outrageous.
