Does it bother any one here that the police chased down the Caylee sighting in Volusia County yesterday? If they did in fact have forensic evidence that Caylee was dead why would they respond to the tip? This case is driving me crazy. IMO

I think that Volusia County incident actually happened in mid-August. Don't know why it was only released yesterday. I sent the news station "feedback" about that.

Could be that LE does not have forensic evidence a reported, or that the evidence they have has not been confirmed.

This morning, prosecutors formally charged her with fraudulent use of personal identification information, forgery of a check and uttering a forged check.

These charges are connected to checks stolen from one of Anthony's friends. Anthony borrowed the woman's car while she was on vacation. When she returned, her friend learned the checks were missing and her bank account had a zero balance.

Including today's charges, the state has filed a total of 13 counts in connection to the checks.

As an active duty member of the armed services he can ask to have a military attorney present during questioning. IMO, FL decided it would be less expensive to send their detectives to CA so they can gauge the body language and reactions to their questions and to also get signed, sworn affadavits. JMO.

How many dang checks of Amy's did she use? Dang! She passed a lot of her checks - it seems. She even used her OWN I.D. to float these checks.. even at the bank where she withdrew $250 - she used her own I.D. card.

I really think Casey broke into Zenaida's car the day Z went looking at apartments @ the Sawgrass.. and that is how Casey got her info. She's a career criminal, IMO.. a habitual thief.

I now believe that LA has more to do with the cover-up of Caylee's murder. I also think, G & C may lose two adult children and a grandchild. I just want to say this here...I was never a huge fan of Nancy Grace's but I have come to appreciate her and her show with regards to Caylee's case. NG has been very good towards the Anthony's and I have always felt terrible for G & C Anthony. I think the grandparents are between a rock and a hard spot and do not deserve all this crapola especially with these protesters. I think it was G & C who kept a good home for little Caylee - who opened up their hearts. They do not deserve this treatment by these horrible protesters. Protest, blame the person who did this to Caylee not the grandparents.

Thank you NG for doing a great job and keeping this case front and center on TV. All children who are missing are important but here we pretty much know Casey had everything to do with Caylee's disappearance. Don't let this young woman get away with murder and I say that to the Orlando Police as well.

I'd imagine that each time Casey floated a check -- she defrauded the place she was using the check at. So that is why they are separate counts for each check. She used MANY checks to various institutions. I know she passed a few checks at Target, but each check that was floated was a separate incident. So that's why we have all the separate charges.. it's for each check used.

And yes, I read about the guy with the taser. Lord help the neighbors - that's all I have to say. What a miserable existence they must be living through. Usually a person's house is the place they can find relaxing comfort and feel safe... but not for the residents on Hopespring Drive.

ITA-- At the bond hearing Cindy stated that Lee is the only one who could get through to her (Casey).
Then she was asked by the lawyer "why do you say that?
Cindy "Because he did that night, with in minutes"

so Cindy stated on the stand at the bond hearing that Lee can get through to Casey and already had with in minutes of speaking to her.

Lee on the stand stated he didn't want the police called when they were and that he only had 45 minutes or so to talk privately with Casey before LE got there and then she was arrested.

I think they all know Caylee is dead, but I honestly believe Lee knows how and why.. I do not think the grandparents do though...

I love when the forum is calm and we can all express our thoughts and opinions without being blasted. We all see, hear, and discipher things differently. My thoughts are that Cindy is one who knew Casey killed Caylee. I think the night George first lost it was the night he realized that Cindy and Casey were lying and covering up. I wonder if the reason Cindy finally about car missing is when George said I want to know where she is and I will go get her. Just my opinion.

My opinion is no better than anyone elses. We are all guessing and everyones insight makes me look closer. But, I am willing to bet that when this does finally come to fruition some on here will have gotten it correct and others will have been way off base.

We have some marvelous posters that have a great way with words and can express themselves well. Thanks to all of you for continuing to keep Caylees name out there. I pray for her and all the missing children.

I think you are correct. Amy's charges were one thing but I think the different Target stores, bank of America and the other places she cashed these checks are filing fraud charges on their own behalf which would be different charges than Amy's. IMO.

Yeah, TES is located between the NASA area and Galveston.. in Dickinson, Texas. There is damage down that way and power outages, etc. I am in Houston - on the west side and we are one of the areas with the least damage..in fact, everything was back to normal the night after Ike - at least for me.

Anyway - I think TES has their hands full right now - unfortunately. I wish they'd head back to Orlando to help search for Caylee but I don't think it is practical for them to do so. :(

She has already bonded out on these charges. This is just the formal filing of the charges. I could be wrong, but the same thing happened with the other check charges that were brought against her.

I did hear on My Fox Orlando last night, that more charges would be coming. The reporter was speculating that there was another of Amy's checks they had yet to charge her for.

ITA-- At the bond hearing Cindy stated that Lee is the only one who could get through to her (Casey).
Then she was asked by the lawyer "why do you say that?
Cindy "Because he did that night, with in minutes"

so Cindy stated on the stand at the bond hearing that Lee can get through to Casey and already had with in minutes of speaking to her.

Lee on the stand stated he didn't want the police called when they were and that he only had 45 minutes or so to talk privately with Casey before LE got there and then she was arrested.

I think they all know Caylee is dead, but I honestly believe Lee knows how and why.. I do not think the grandparents do though...

Interesting comment. IMO it will never get to a jury trial. I think the Anthonys will realize Baez is in over his head and get a good defense lawyer who will work a plea deal out. Casey isn't so stupid or cocky that she'd risk a trial by jury in FL, JMO.IDK about that last sentence Rose...I do think Casey is VERY cocky, and much stupider than many give her credit for being...I'm no professional liar, but I can come up with better lies than her sitting at this computer in about 5 minutes, as can most of you!
IMO, Baez has to be over his head with this case...I think he had the big dreams and the small skills...I hope he continues to represent her throughout myself. I think he will UNLESS she fires him. ITA with you opinion on her demeanor. I think it was more about proving how horrible "the protesters" were, victimizing poor Casey and all. The goal of this being to get a few arrested so they would all quit bothering Casey, or at least so that an injunction would be issued sending them down the road.
I don't think they bother her conscience ( she'd have to get one first...and all her friends now hide ther checkbooks...) but I do think the noise must irritate her and I'm sure she is sick of putting up with hearing her parents go on about it.

TYVM dori!! It is tiresome reading posts about LE's incompetence. How the heck were they supposed to deal with an already cold case. Casey didn't even acknowledge Caylee was missing until 31 days had already passed. And, I think that's the truth. I think Caylee died on either 16 or 17 June. Like most patho liars there's a kernel of truth in every lie and I think that's it. LE is doing a fantanstic job under the circumstances and if people don't like the fact that Casey is being bounced in and out of jail, too bad, she deserves the turmoil. IMO.

It was reported that the TES spokesperson is in constant communication with the LE in Orlando, I know they were working together during the search.... It was stated the spokesperson said big developments were due to be released soon that will surpise us all. Just speculating on what it could be is all.... sorry to upset everyone.


Didn't upset me cutie. I wrote a post yesterday in an attempt to think out loud about what info TES could possibly share that would be surprising. As I typed I realized there was only so much info LE would share with TES, and it should primarily be related to reasons why they think certain areas should be searched. I wouldn't expect them to share every detail of their investigation with a search company. I also wouldn't expect a spokesperson from TES to advise the media big developments were due to be released soon if it wasn't directly related to the search and their involvement...but who knows.

It would certainly surprise me to learn LE would share accomplice theories with TES.

I agree with you, there were likely signs that she was odd and I'm sure they DID notice, but she did tend to cycle through friends. She probably could sense when things were getting stale or awkward or they had served their purpose. IE account bled dry. Various friends commented on not knowing of, or meeting other friends.

Yes I've seen the videos, and I've seen other videos of attorney's with their clients that are not so very different.

I see no reason to read things into this. When there is proof they are doing something improper then fine, until then its just the vileness of people's imaginations at work.

This case is bad enough based on the known facts, I think adding malicious rumour and gossip to it is not necessary nor does it help in any way to find out what happened to Caylee.

IMO, Baez has to be over his head with this case...I think he had the big dreams and the small skills...I hope he continues to represent her throughout myself. I think he will UNLESS she fires him. I'm not saying there has been "impropriety" there, but there is alot of body language and facial response suggesting that he FEELS like Casey's champion/hero. Just as I believe is true with her family, I think she "told" him what happened ( Casey version 32.0), and he now believes the bull puckey tale she told him and believes it was a tragic accident. I know defense attorneys posture, but there is a limit, and I believe I am have a better than average ability to gauge unspoken truths from a persons body language, tone, patterns of speech, and facial expressions.
Baez see's himself as a white night for someone he has some shallow "feelings" for...and Casey see's him as the perfect patsy.
