Makes sense that KC would be on xanax or some other type of benzo. I used to sell xanax xr to physicians Legally as a drug rep) and once someone had been on a benzo for a certain period of time the physical dependency would be so high, they would just keep them on it rather than making them withdraw. Seems that is how KC is able to keep such a quiet/chill demenor.

Where are the other grandparents? (Ohio - I know) In terms of support in a crisis, where are they?

In Casey's Universal interview she indicated she had not seen her own paternal GPs since she was 6 or 7.

This sounds like total estrangement to me. I think the rift between G and his family is deep. Many times, in a crisis, even estranged families find a way support eachother.

There have been lots of theories about abuse, business dealings, gambling, etc - to have a rift this deep and enduring, I think the reason must be a 'biggie'. It may have no direct bearing here, however, it shows how the family deals (doesn't deal) with problems and may shed light on their current behaviors, isolation and entitlement issues.

Does anyone know if LE has gone to Ohio?

When I first started taking Xanax (script) I took only .25mg a day as needed. All I needed was one tiny dose and it knocked me out for the night so I can only imagine what it could do to a child. Due to more turmoil in my life, my script was eventually upped to 1 mg a day and it usually takes that AND a glass of wine or a cocktail to get me to sleep at night. If Casey got Xanax on the street, the Lord only knows what strength or formula she got. It would be very dangerous for a child, believe me, I have seen what the legal script has done to me! I tried to drive one night after taking it and having a glass of wine. I thought I was okay and I was fine driving to my ex-boyfriend's house but by the time I got there, I was wasted. He had to drive me home. :no:

i hear this daily from physicans and patients and often times you have to go up on the dose because your body gets used to in your case .25. your right, to a child is would be like a horse tranqulizer. scares me to think that this could have happened too.

No. The time I almost got on...two Fridays ago...I started calling about ten minutes before the hour and kept hitting redial when I got the busy signal. When they took my call there were five people ahead of me. They ended the show when the 5th caller was allowed to talk. Then show over. Wait until about 15 to 10 minutes before. Just a thought. You could start now. Juts keep hitting redial.

I had a stillbirth at 22 weeks a couple of years ago. The doctor gave me Xanax. I don't recall what strength, all I know is it was GOOD! I would be out for hours after taking 1/2 of one. I can't imagine giving it to a child.

Thanks for everyone's thoughts. It was a very hard time, and that's why it is so hard to conceive that someone could care so little about a child. I didn't get to know that baby, and feel the loss every day of my life. The only thing I think could be any worse is losing a child you already know and adore. CAN'T FATHOM IT!

She has lost quite a bit. Seriously. At one point in the background on one shot....she was literally holding up her shorts it looked like. I can't imagine it is high times in that house for anyone but Casey. Coincidentally or not, Casey appears to look just fine. Has color. Hair looks good. Doesn't appear to have lost weight. Looks pretty darn healthy to me. The last arrests she clearly was wearing a little makeup. Obviously, she is fine while her parents are going off a cliff into the abyss.

So true. I don't know if Cindy has lost as much weight as she claims but I re-watched her testimony at the bond hearing and then watched her screaming match with the female protester the other night. She is a lot thinner. She looks like she hasn't slept in weeks. This charade that Cindy and George have gotten sucked into will be the death of them, if they don't free themselves from that dead weight daughter of theirs.

these days they try to avoid it if possible. there are anti-epileptic drugs on the market for seizures. if they have to combine it with an ativan or other benzo it would only be short term if any at all.

In JB's video yesterday, he said he called the University of Tennessee Body Farm and was the told the tests are not complete.

Is it normal for a defense attorney to call a testing lab about lab results before his client is charged?

The plate glass window is rather alarming - but I'm wondering if it's big enough to permanently estrange an entire family. Of course, this could have been just one (public display) incident indicative of G's charming personality.

If G is BP and untreated, estrangement would make sense - a family who has come to the end of their desire/ability to deal with this type of personality.

I am well aware of the toll BPism takes on a family. My son is BP and it's been a difficult road. He is treated and has learned to recognize and deal appropriately with his illness and has developed strong relationships with family members. However, there was a time when I could only imagine such stability. I used to burst into tears everytime I saw a homeless person, I also took to keeping food in my car...At one time this is how I imagined my son's future. He could easily have gone this way and I have no doubt he would be long dead by now. Thanks to modern medicine, higher powers and my son's hard work, his future is bright.

It wouldn't surprise me a bit if G had a personality disorder. It would explain a lot!

Where are the other grandparents? (Ohio - I know) In terms of support in a crisis, where are they?

In Casey's Universal interview she indicated she had not seen her own paternal GPs since she was 6 or 7.

This sounds like total estrangement to me. I think the rift between G and his family is deep. Many times, in a crisis, even estranged families find a way support eachother.

There have been lots of theories about abuse, business dealings, gambling, etc - to have a rift this deep and enduring, I think the reason must be a 'biggie'. It may have no direct bearing here, however, it shows how the family deals (doesn't deal) with problems and may shed light on their current behaviors, isolation and entitlement issues.

My Dad and his Brother have been estranged since their Mom died almost 2 decades ago. It's stupid, IMO. But I really don't know the truth to both sides.

On Sept 7th of this year. Just 2 weeks ago. His wife of 47 years passed away. Dad was told through his Aunt this past Sunday.

Originally, my Dad was going to send a condolence card. Instead, bit the bullet, and called.

Let's just say that some wounds run deep. They didn't talk.

I know it has something to do with my Grama leaving everything in her estate to my Dad. And nothing to her other Son.
