Yes'm that's who he is. During jury selection, apparently a group of potential jurors got stuck in an elevator -- for whatever reason the elevator got stuck -- and they were with Arthur. WHen they returned to the courtroom, Judge Glass apologized to the potential jurors for having to be stuck in the elevator -- and especially that they had to be stuck in there, in close quarters with Arthur. It did result in a collective giggle from the courtroom. :D

Frankly, I wonder how many more audiotapes he has that he's not told authorities about yet. He's low enough to keep a "reserve" stash for future income.
Since law enforcement has subpoenaed his audiotapes, he must know that he will spend some time in the pokey if he didn't turn them all over to law enforcement and the tapes pop up at some future date. I think he is indeed "low enough" to keep a reserve stash if he thought he could get away with it - I think he would probably sell drugs to schoolchildren if he thought he would make a lot of money from it - but at this point he ought to be scared enough of law enforcement not to do that.

They wanted to know how he would be affected if he skipped a dose of his medication. They were probably trying to determine if he is addicted to the medication or not. If he was addicted, not having his meds would cause symptoms. If he were only using it as prescribed, he wouldn't have problems. And that's the answer he gave. He said he takes his medication as prescribed and doesn't really know what would happen if he went several days without it. Feeling him out as an addict, is all I can glean from that question.

His meds came into question so I think they were wondering (as I was) what side effect he would have if he didn't take them? He had said that he didn't take the full amount prescribed...I think that day, not sure if he meant that is the way he always takes them.
I was just wondering why they asked it? Do they think he was suffering side effects while the incident that was going on that would possibly distort his perceptions of the alleged crime/robbery?

Such annoying slow questioning. It's a good enough question - could audio have been placed on the recorder from a computer - although I think the expert is making sure he's giving an accurate answer. But it seems like he's trying to get one expert to pre-disqualify a second expert by disagreeing with a hypothetical answer.

At this point, I think if I heard from Riccio, the two with the guns and the two defendants (if they want to testify) that wouldprobably be enough for me to form an opinion at this point. The only other person I'd love to hear from would be the person Riccio said OJ introduced him to at the pool as "my attorney" who reportedly told OJ the "sting" was a bad idea. It's not about Ron and Nicole. Has nothing to do with them. OJ is a thug, accustomed to using threats and violence when he doesn't get his way - someone had stuff he considered his, his solution was to get guys with guns. That's all this is. His nature showed up for Nicole and Ron too - but that's the only link here - same person, same personality flaws lead to their deaths as lead to him thinking he can commit armed robbery and get away with it.
That's what I see. While I'd find it gratifying to see OJ finally in jail on this, it's not a reason he should be convicted, nor is it an element in this case. Nor does it need to be - there's a mountain of evidence against him, and it's solid.

The only problem with your theory in that it has nothing to do with Nicole and Ron Goldman is that everything he has done since that "Civil Judgement" is to keep anything and everything of value out of the reach of that judgement...so in a sense its because of his motive NOT TO PAY HIS DUES ..he has hidden, lied, used others to HIDE any and all assets..and yes even his lawyers have assisted him doing just that!
I think if Mike Gilbert gives his testimony...it will become clear the path or journey OJ has fllowed since that judgement against him and why he (OJ) surrounds himself with manipulative sorts..enablers and lowlives alike have maintained OJ's mask of smiles, waves and friendliness..Public persona..thats all it is..certainly not a man who fulfills his obligations..but uses..abused his abilities to snow the masses..(so he thinks)..and cry "Race Card" or "conspiracy" or vendettas...PLEEEZE give me a break..!!hammer
I so wish all this fact gets exposed for what is is..not spinned by OJ and his attny's for anythings else..This event did not take a life...but it was THOSE MURDERS back then that has led to his behaviors ever since that event..
I hope they can nail him with this crime..nothing more and nothing less..He conspired with Riccio to get stuff back that he knew Gilbert had and had unloaded..who had obtained it because he had hid it via him for over a decade...and vengence was his to get it back.and to use others to do that and keep it from getting into the "Goldman's Clutches"..using guns will end up to be the aggravator that puts him into prison..and because he laid with those dogs..he got the "FLEAS"!!

Im a little curious how you know this since its only day (2) ?
Also...His being a thug is cleary a matter of opinion..
Do you know OJ ? Did he bully you, or pull your pigtails?
Being loud does not make a person a Bully.
Its clear that you have decided his guilt before the defense even presents their case (or the prosecution for that matter)
Cant you atleast pretend to be objective ????????
What happened *****15***** years ago has NOTHING to do with this case. Nor should it.
The Items OJ claims he was retrieving was Never awarded to Fred Goldman so it does not belong to him.(Not everything is awardable in a judgement)
And so It most probably WAS OJ's even the alleged Victim said it Was OJ's.
He is so OVERCHARGED Its rediculous.
How do you kidnap people in their own room, never touch them, yell at them, say your taking your stuff and leave within 5 minutes??
How is that kidnapping ????
Silly... Just Silly...
As for those Ive seen who talk about wanting to serve on a jury.
If a person cant put aside their own personal bias, they have no business as jurors.. pro or con.
Trials are not about *Payback* They are about doing whats right under the law.
Ask yourself, Would I convict my best friend with this evidence?
Would I see it all the same? Would I be as outraged?
Would I convict equally someone I hate, and someone I like.
EVERYBODY deserves a fair trial... Even OJ Simpson.
Being a Juror is a Duty, and a Privilege, and requires considerable thought and respect for the responsibilty it brings.
Its Hard... Its supposed to be hard.

Well said rulovlaw however I went through this yesterday with the same people and they have their minds made up. We can only hope that the jury is as they say open minded. Nobody should have their mind made up at this point. They don't get it. If you get a chance come on in the day I would love your opinion.

Cant you atleast pretend to be objective ????????It's easy enough to follow the case in the media, listen to the tapes - this is not at all day 2 - we've had a long time, plenty of reliable information is out there. I've heard more than enough, on tapes, in OJ's own voice, to show he is guilty - should I ignore what he himself said? Pretend it doesn't exist until it is presented in court? I'm not a juror, so I don't have that requirement. And a thug - as someone responsible for killing Nicole and Ron, someone who has shown a long time pattern of using violence to solve his problems. I said not a word about him being loud - in fact, I'm not aware that he is loud in general - I'd have characterized him as on the quieter side.
Silly... Just Silly...Yep, it's kidnapping, and OJ is far from the first to be charged for it. If you restrain a person in any place, by force or threat of force, it's kidnapping. As for those Ive seen who talk about wanting to serve on a jury.
If a person cant put aside their own personal bias, they have no business as jurors.. pro or con.
Trials are not about *Payback* They are about doing whats right under the law.

Its Hard... Its supposed to be hard.I'd convict my best friend, my mom, my brother, or my child with this evidence. It's OJ's own voice, OJ on videotape, and his statements after as well. He deserves a fair trial before criminal penalties are applied, and he's getting one. But the evidence is clear, and unless the jurors are biased in OJ's favor, I see only one possible verdict. There is no acceptable reason for going into someone's room with guns and taking stuff - even were it his - which it is not - when you abandon stuff in a storage and don't pay the bill, you forfiet it.

We are not the jury. And even a juror could think he is guilty - so long as they will base their verdict on the rules of the court. But we are not the jury. You don't seem to get that. We have no need to pretend we don't know the evidence yet to come that has already been played out, we do not need to pretend we do not know what OJ said.
You don't get it. We're the public. We're allowed to have opinions. There are even Constitutional amendments all about how we are allowed to have and even, yes indeed, express those opinions freely! You may have your own opinion, and form your opinion on the facts you desire to recognize - but your chosen limits are not a requirement for the rest of us.

:seeya:IMO A GREAT POST!! I PERSONALLY WOULD JUST LIKE TO SEE THIS MAN HAVE TO PAY HIS DUES FOR ALL THE HAVOC HE HAS CREATED IN HIS LIFE. I WONDER DOES HE EVER THINK ABOUT THE PATH HE HAS CONTINUED TO GO DOWN IN THE LAST THIRTEEN YEARS? SILLY QUESTION I KNOW. I'N MY MIND HE PROBABLY THINKS HE IS STILL AND ALWAYS WILL BE ABOVE THE LAW. THANKS LINDA FOR THE POST!

THE TOPIC OF THIS THREAD MAY BE THE ON GOING TRIAL. I UNDERSTAND THAT BUT... I STILL HAVE A PROBLEM WITH ALL THIS MAN HAS DONE OVER THE YEARS. IMO HE SHOULD HAVE USED WHAT LITTLE SENSE HE APPEARS TO HAVE AND TRIED TO STRAIGHTEN HIS LIFE UP FOR NOT ONLY HIMSELF BUT HIS CHILDREN. I'M JUST THANKFUL FOR THE JUDGE HE HAS IN THIS TRIAL. I ALSO THINK IT'S GREAT THE JURORS GET TO ASK QUESTIONS DURING THE TRIAL. I'M SURE I WILL GET:punch:OVER THE JUDGE REMARK BUT SHE SEEMS TO BE TOUGH. SO UNLIKE MR. SIDEBAR. THIS IS MY OPINION AND IF IT OFFENDS ANYBODY, THAT WAS NOT MY INTENTION. I WILL HAVE TO SAY I WAS TRYING TO BE barf KIND WHEN I SAID HE APPEARS TO HAVE A LITTLE SENSE. IT SURE HAS PROVEN NOT TO BE COMMON SENSE!
