I'm here, still at work. Too quiet today; think I'll leave the office in a few minutes.

Does anyone know the timing of when the Anthony's did their own "search" of the backyard?

I don't think much has gone on. Someone on the other thread said Cindy came out and worked in her flowers for a while. Had to get in front of the camera. That's all I remember seeing. Maybe someone else knows more.

It makes me so crazy - We don't want the protesters, we don't want the media frenzy, we don't want anyone searching for a "dead" Caylee... oh wait.. but we mug for the camera every chance we get, we stick our faces in the cameras and say the most confrontational things possible, and we bash people for searching while we do nothing but hide the truth and harbor the one who can make this all stop and bring Caylee home...
I am sorry, but I cannot see GA and Cindy as pure "victims" in all this. IMO they've had a lot to do with covering up what happened.. but this constant contradiction is madness. I remember my psychiatrist explaining borderline personality to me.. summed up like this " I hate you! - Don't leave me!!!" Sound familiar?

Yep. That's the Anthony family. I don't see G & C as pure victims either, no way. They sought out the media first and couldn't get enough of it. They are a sick making bunch.

Well i can say for SURE if my grandchild was missing i wouldn't be working in any flower bed. I dont see them as victims at all and its because of the way they have acted threw all of this. They have not been out looking for this child because they already no where she is and yet they sit back let the money roll in and believe there daughters lies. No one can be this :cuss:
I think they know Caylee is dead and they've written her off and are now attempting to make as much $$ off of the situation as they can. Not to mention hoping to be able to keep appearing on TV telling their stories for years to come.
If it was one of my Mom's grandchildren, we'd have to forcefully drag her home and make her eat and sleep. We'd all be out there looking day and night, not sitting on our duffs waiting for a chance to mug in front of a camera.

Does anyone know when Casey's trial is set to start on the "economic crimes" charges?? The forged checks, etc. I think this one will be pretty open and shut....she admits in the interviews stealing and using her parents credit cards...I would think they could use that against her.
Not positive, but think its 11/17

I thought that too and then saw that commercial for the personal amplifier listening device. In the commercial it says you can listen to conversations from across the street. I had a sudden vision of Cindy working in her beds - while she has this device turned on high! It's terrible of me to think that, but it's not something I wouldn't expect of her either.

It appears that the Anthonys don't like being in their back yard anymore. Wonder why?

Ok...I have seen the Anthony's wearing the "butterfly" t-shirts on the news....but I have never seen an up-close shot...the t-shirt says "Fly Home Baby...We miss you". Now...she is 3 yrs old....how is she going to "fly" home...oh...wait...unless you either think or know she is dead and you are equating her to an angel...because after all...angels can fly...but children cannot.

I don't know about any kind of "normal" in that household. Especially with Casey there, Caylee's room and toys out back, and Caylee NOT there. Don't think I could do it. JMO

I know what G & C are saying in public, but we do not know what is being said behind closed doors. I bet the tension is so thick it could be cut with a knife. I know I would not be able to hold my tongue. My child would have to listen to me 24/7. Maybe that is why they bailed her out. She sure the heck wasn't saying anything while sitting in jail. Maybe they are pushing her buttons hoping she will blurt out the truth. jmo

How does anyone "write off" a loved one who has died? :shrug:That's a good question SS...IDK how anyone could ever write a loved one off, of course we have seen criminals and their families do it before ( the Petersons come to mind). My guess is that what I call love, and what you call love is not the same as what someone like that means...their idea of "loved one" is more like 'amusing person in my life right now' ( people like that, not necessarily the Anthony family per se).

When my husband and I sat down to dinner this evening, we do what we usually do at dinner, talked about our activities for the day and what we would be doing tomorrow and the rest of the week. We spoke about our children and any upcoming plans we have with them or what is going on in their lives.
After dinner I couldn't help but think what happens when the Anthonys are sitting down for dinner. They must carry on a conversation. Do they talk about Caylee and how much they miss her? Do they just sit in silence and not speak. How does a family go about acting as though everything is normal. I know I would definitely not be able to do that.
How could this family not want to bring an end to all of this. I would be saying 24/7 "Casey tell us where to find Caylee", nothing else would matter until my grandchild was found. After that, maybe I would then begin to think about how to help my child, but until my grandchild was found I would not be able to think about anything else, never mind having my own child that may have harmed my grandchild in the house with me.

Last night, someone on here mentioned that Cindy said that Casey didn't get a chance to bond with Caylee because Cindy got to hold her before Casey did. I'm not sure where that was originally reported, so not sure of the validity but if that's true, it suggests that cindy was well aware that Casey was not properly attached to her daughter the way a normal mother should be. She was probably aware of this for a very long time.

That would be singularly amazing and in my thoughts and prayers that would happen. Unfortunately, it would also mean there was someone else's decomposing body in Casey's trunk... :(

I can't understand why that reality hasn't hit them yet. It's been such a long time now.
Honestly I think it's because they are so caught up in battling the media and the protesters and what not that it gives them the outlet for the rage and frustration that should be aimed at their daughter. They have probably done this for a long time -- tons of infighting, but the "not MY daughter" attitude when anyone on the outside accuses their family of something.

The only info was on Greta she called it a source. So who knows, the info supposedly came from him talking to Cindys mother because he didn't talk to Cindy. He then claimed Cindy emailed to complain that he was speaking on that site. Another poster supposedly let Cindy know which site he was on. I believe it was a topix site. No links so imo

I think it's "just desserts" so to speak that the ice cream man is puerto rican -- I'm sure there are a lot of members of the latino community, furious with being portrayed as baby snatchers. When in doubt blame a brown person it seems. :cuss:
Her friends also claimed that Casey breastfed Caylee, if that is true then they bonded. Unless of course Casey wasnt capable of it to begin with.
I don't think Casey was capable of bonding with Caylee.:(

JMO :rose: For little Caylee until she gets justice.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) -- A few protesters showed up at outside the Anthony's home on Saturday, along with a few tourists. One family from Orlando -- a mom, son, and daughter dressed for a nice evening dinner -- stopped by the Anthony's to take a few pictures.
One zealous protester was dropped off in front of the Anthony's home by a cab early in the day. She was later joined by a few others. Cindy Anthony, grandmother of missing Orlando toddler, Caylee, did her weekend weeding in the front lawn while those same protesters, tourists, and the media watched. Cindy was accompanied by a security guard.

Her friends also claimed that Casey breastfed Caylee, if that is true then they bonded. Unless of course Casey wasnt capable of it to begin with.
A lot of the confusion seems to come from the fact that for all intents and purposes, until Caylee disappeared, Casey seemed to be at the least a decent mother. All witness statements from her friends that I read said she seemed loving and that shetook care of Caylee..
From my own perspective on motherly love.. my own mother was more than capable of being very loving and caring, at times - especially those times when she had an audience.
She was also the least maternal human being on earth and there were times in my late childhood into adolescence when she made me fear for my own safety. And yet, to even my close friends, it appeared that she was a good mom and very loving. I am not denying that she loves me, in her fashion, but she is also mentally ill and when in a rage, terrifying.
I only throw this out there to try to speak to the dual images of Casey from prior to Caylee's disappearance and what must have happened to now. All MOO of course...

See I agree with this; it's like SS when she blamed a black man carjacked her and took her baby; similar thing. Racist, for sure. And goes along with what we know about her mother not letting Latiinos in her home. Which I also thought was really weird!! That George would let them in; if cindy wasnt around. I never had it confirmed just who this latino was they were speaking of though.
If that car had never been found and SS had not confessed, there would have been a black man arrested and probally dead by now...

I personally think WAAAYY too much emphasis has been placed on the fact that Cindy held Caylee first.
My daughter was born 12 weeks premature. She spent three months in the NICU and I literally wasn't able to hold her for weeks. Many doctors and nurses held her long before I could. It was excruciating, but we made it though okay somehow, and are now about as close as it gets. :)
Can't remember which friend was quoted, but I recall one of them saying how much Caylee adored her mother. If Caylee tended to cry for grandma, I believe it was because Cindy WANTED the role of caregiver, and Casey didn't really want to assume full responsibility. She loved her mommy, but grandma was the one who was always there for her.
IOW, IF there was a failure to bond, it's because Casey was incapable of unselfish love - of truly putting the needs of her own daughter before her own, and not because Cindy held her first, or for any other reason.
