has it been confirmed if the car was locked? one theory running around is that casey was trying to lure someone to steal the car by leaving her purse and keys in the car so i was wondering if the windows were down and/or if it was locked...a locked car wouldn't be as enticing i wouldn't think....

She romped on over to Tony's, never showed a care in the world, partied....Casey did not love Caylee; I am utterly convinced it was not possible for her to do so. I am also convinced it was no accident. I simply don't think Caylee had an accident, and, by happy coincidence, Casey turned out to be a psychopath who didn't care anyway. And, if it were a genuine accident, why didn't Casey call the police? Don't tell me she "panicked." If we've seen anything about this woman, it is that she does not panic.

But do both GA and CA have alibis for the 16th? Casey had a "flurry" of calls to them, did they leave work and come to help their daughter dispose of Caylee? All we know is that is seemed she didn't get a hold of them could they have met her somewhere??

IIRC Cindy also called Amy after Casey was arrested... and Mr. Hopkins, father of Jeff Hopkins, said Cindy had called them and asked them not to speak to LE, or maybe she said the media, or both, I'm not sure.

There is no telling how many people Cindy has contacted with advise, or to get info, and let's not forget her attitude and statement about not cooperating with LE if they went to the ALF to talk to her father.

I was reading another thread and something occured to me. George needed the wheel chock out of Caseys trunk to rotate tires. IIRC George had just started working by then. I could see him doing odd jobs around the house while unemployed to save money, and kill time. But rotating tires is quite the job to do in your driveway.

I know there will be people here that have air compressors and tools at home and do it all the time. But for those that don't it is a lot more work. I mean you take it in to the right place they have the car lift, air tools, no biggy.

So anyway, I wonder if he really was going to do a tire rotation, or if he just wanted to look in her trunk. Was he looking for gas cans? Or maybe something else that had been stolen we don't even know about yet.

Anthony said she left Caylee with a babysitter- Zenaida- and that Anthony told two other people about Caylee missing. Anthony said Jeffrey Hopkins and Juliet Lewis are the two people she told about Caylees disappearance.
We were able to track down a Jeffrey Hopkins Senior who also has a son named Jeffrey Hopkins.
According to the elder Hopkins, they know the Anthony family and were asked by the family not to talk.
But he said off camera, that his son worked for Universal Studios in high school. And he insisted that Anthony and his son never dated and has never met Caylee.

I have said that the reason I got interested in this case is because Casey is so much like my grandchildren's mother - the boys are my son's children. So, from experience, I can say that I totally understand this whole "bonding" issue.

I think that Casey didn't even want to have Caylee, therefore had no interest in taking care of her once she was here. I don't think it was necessarily Cindy being controlling and taking over the care of Caylee, I think it was Casey's non-desire to do it herself, therefor, someone had to do, so Cindy did. So Cindy and Caylee bonded and Casey and Caylee did not.

Maybe there was an argument that weekend. Maybe Cindy told Casey she was going to try and take Caylee from her and kick her out. So Casey pulled the guilt trip and said I will stop all my crazy stuff and be a better mother. Give me a month to get things together before you do anything. Caylee doesn't love me, she only loves you (which I heard too many times). Let me take Caylee with me away from you for awhile so we can bond.

BTW My grandchildren's mother left the boys with me until she "got her life straightened out" and we got official custody of them 2 days ago :biggrin: I am thankful everyday that our situation turned out happily and not the way this case has.

Could have been an accident (during child abuse of sedating Caylee with a dangerous substance) , could have been planned out (ala telling others she would soon have her parents' home), or could have been a rage killing -- not to spite Cindy, but out of anger. Oh, Cindy has gone through the looking glass. Down is up. Black is white. She called the documents "a good read." She thinks they are favorable for Casey. She implied that reading the police interrogations made Casey look good. And all Casey does is lie, lie, lie (which Cindy admitted in the first jailhouse call). The police stop and ask her more than once, "do you want to change anything about your statement?" and Casey replies that no, she doesn't want to change a thing. This, Cindy implies, makes LE look bad and Casey look like a poor persecuted mother.

I don't know the timing of everything. We know when the public found out about the possibility of chloroform in the trunk/car, but we don't know when the Anthony's found out about it.

I don't personally know when they took her computer.

I also know that when she was out on bail she had access to another computer.

She handles it pretty well from a calm standpoint. Most people suffer some type of embarrassment from being caught in a lie, or in this case a multitude of lies. She has no reaction it seems.
