I think C&G's attorney is doing what he was hired to do. Listening to him on NG tonight I think he's spinning, evading and talking out of his azz.
I agree, it's hard to explain those comments...I mean come on, does anyone believe someone broke into a tow yard, randomly picked Casey's car to hide a body, then broke in again and took it away?
That's where the evading comes in on Nejame's part.
I don't feel NG was excusing Cindy, I feel she's just gotten tired of the excuses and evading by so many people involved in this case. Including Kobi, who until we found out he'd talked to Baez was one of Nancy's dependable experts who spoke with experience in a nuetral way. After that he suddenly started back peddling and evading. I would think she's disappointed with him right now. I think he must have a contract with CNN otherwise Nancy most likely wouldn't have him on anymore.
Remember, she's under contract too and may have to follow what the network demands, whether she likes it or not. And she also still has a lawsuit hanging over her head for the Duckett case. I'm sure she has that also on her mind and picks her words carefully now.
I watch her face and expressions and that to me tells me more than her words do many times. I would love to sit with her and hear what she REALLY thinks.
When this case finally comes to fruition and has gone to trial and is over, I would hope she will write a book about it. She's written one already and I don't doubt she will write another.
I like her and have watched her for a long time, before she got her own show. She did an excellent job with the SP case, after which she got her own show.
I feel she does her best defend the victims and nail the perps.
I'm glad it's late, I may not have to duck too many tomatoes thrown at me for my support of her.

I am just re watching NG anyone notice that when they were talking about JB stopping the testing, the TH lawyer says the motion will fail its not proper protocal, Nejame smiled. I think he agreed without saying so. Not sure, but that is how I took it.

My intention is not to harass them but I think too many people want to believe she is a sociopath and that she would rather be perceived that way than to admit what has happened, and maybe just maybe I can reach her when I tell her my little girl died at the same age 5 years ago. Yeah it was a little weird, his client hasn't been charged yet, but that tells me she has told him nothing but more lies and he knows that murder charges are coming. I guess that is looking at the positive side.

I have moments that I feel bad for the grandparents too, I think that alot of her stupid comments are just that, stupid comments! I think it's mostly due to the stress The one thing I can't imagine though is actually allowing Casey to stay there, not just stay there, but bail her out too! I would be at her every second of every day, grilling her for answers, daughter or not, I would want to know what happened to my grandchild.

I see their situation with Casey as similar to an abused wife. I know that sounds dumb, but I see similar behaviours. The cruelty, the blaming themselves, broken promises etc. It takes its toll and it can take a long time to get out of that relationship, now imagine that the relationship is with a child not a spouse. How do you get out of that relationship, it would be even more difficult. jmho

Now there's an idea. My DD has an interest in the case and wouldn't get sucked in but, knows her way around these Facebook and My Space things. I am not sure Casey will ever talk. She is a sociopath she doesn't feel the way we do. ( I should say she appears to be a sociopath or whatever disorder you would like to apply).

She could probably pass a lie detector test, the opinions vary on this. Personally I think she could easily pass. She appears so emotionless.

I don't think anyone that is normal, can truly understand it.

JB has instructed her to not talk. Rob Dick she didn't stop talking to him, but it was nonsense, all lies. I think she probably gets some perverse pleasure out of not telling her family, especially her mother, anything. I agree with one of the TH from NG, she will only talk if she gets something out of it, her family imo has nothing to offer her. Maybe if LE can find Caylee's body, they can hold the DP over her head. That may not work either.

I know I was thinking the same thing she could be watching us watch her. And maybe the reason LE did not take her computer after her last arrest was because they knew she may get back out and wanted her off her guard. I still think Toni may be working with LE. They have all kinds of tricks up their sleeves and pull out all stops when it concerns a child. I am even surprised she is allowed the Internet since she can only be on the phone for 5 mins at a time.


From the rule booklet (in the links somewhere), she can be on the phone as long as she wants, just not the phone that monitors her ankle thing. That is the phone she can only be on for 5 mins at a time, because that is how they make sure she is at home. At least that is how I understand it.

There is a whole different world going on inside of Casey's head. 22 years old and still living off her parents. I don't think she was ever given the tools neccessary for independent living.
I am reminded of a poster on the wall of my bedroom in the '70's:

I think the operative sentence here is the 4th one. Cindy, IMO covers for Casey. There is little accountabiliy for her actions, just justification. No punishment or restitution for misdeeds, then of course Casey cant/won't feel guilt. She has never been given the tools.

I know I was thinking the same thing she could be watching us watch her. And maybe the reason LE did not take her computer after her last arrest was because they knew she may get back out and wanted her off her guard. I still think Toni may be working with LE. They have all kinds of tricks up their sleeves and pull out all stops when it concerns a child. I am even surprised she is allowed the Internet since she can only be on the phone for 5 mins at a time. But maybe it is considered a help with her defense.

I'm not surprised she's allowed on the internet and fully expect that LE will seize (sp?) her computer, which may not help her defense, may help the prosecution, as Amber's tapes helped the pros in the SP case. Instead of talking on the phone she may be chatting on the puter. She may just be narcisstic enough to think that LE won't even check that out. As SP didn't even consider he might be being taped. She may think that there are things she can do on the computer that LE won't know about, can't find out.

All totaled up to about $700, which is what Amy said was missing. There was much debate over whether the ATT check was used to buy the (supposedly) missing blackjack or if it was used to pay her bill.

Pressing charges when crimes are committed against you are different than filing a lawsuit to collect $ damages. Casey committed separate crimes against Amy and the businesses. She stole from Amy and defrauded the businesses, stealing from them, too. They all have a right to press charges.

The way I understand it is that Amy didn't file a lawsuit to recoup the money from Casey. I believe she pressed criminal charges for the crimes Casey committed her.

If she was reimbursed by BOA, I doubt she'd be able to collect the money from Casey in a lawsuit. But, if she did file a lawsuit, maybe she'd be awarded monitary damages for things like infliction of emotional distress.

Target, Winn Dixie, ATT and BOA have every right to press charges for the crimes Casey committed against them, too, whether or not Amy pressed charges. I believe they'd have to file lawuits, in addition to any criminal charges they press, to recoup the money they lost.

I know that if someone stole checks from me and then went on a spending spree, my bank would not reimburse me any money. They would close my account and reopen another one but any money I lost I would just be out and my only recourse to get it back would be to file charges with the local DA. Think about it ....if she has lied to all her friends and her family constantly what makes anyone else think she will all of a sudden feel remorse and spill her guts.

She probably believes her own stories.....I think she is missing any kind of moral compass....
Cindy and George have know it all these years and have never ever made her accountable for her actions.

They might have a sense of guilt too because they ne ver made her be responsible .

As everyone struggles to understand the true character of little Miss Casey Anthony, what has become painfully clear to me, is that the most important person in this never ending nightmare, knew. Caylee. She knew. She knew her mother's true character. She knew her heart. She lived it for almost 3 years. Can you imagine knowing what that poor child knew? She knew that she was expendable, she knew that she was a pawn, she knew she was only an accessory, arm candy, when it was convenient for her mother to portray herself as a hard working, loving mother. She did not know a mother's love. She knew the dark side. She saw it every day of her life. She lived with the insanity, the ever changing moods, the lies, the complications, the chaos. And I know what Caylee struggled and wanted more than anything, to find peace and love. And to find a place in her mother's heart where she might find a place to be. But it never was to be. Casey treated Caylee exactly like she treated everyone else in her life. Used her for what she was worth and then threw her away.
We all need to really look at this and do all that we can to bring this child justice. To do for her what her mother never did for her. To bring her dignity and unconditional love. Caylee belongs to all of us now and we will see this to the end. Stay focused and determined and let this play out with law enforcement.
With each step they take, they are holding Miss Casey accountable and responsible for her actions. Casey is not used to this. She can't manipulate her way out of this. It will all come together and she will go down. And for the first time in her life, her mom and dad can't make this go away. That is where I see the frustration coming from with her parents, they can't fix this. They have lost control. Casey has lost control. And Caylee has lost her life.
To Casey and her parents, Caylee has become merely collateral damage. Their focus now is to save their daughter. That is all they know. This explains it all.

Years ago I opened an account at a money cashing office to send and receive money orders. I could go online and transfer money from my bank account and send a money order to a 3rd party account. I use PayPal now.

I do not know either but if you read my post above in which I posted what Amy wrote about how much a friend had stolen from her she says $1000 so maybe that is $700 in checks and maybe it was $300 that she stole from Amy`s home. Yes, ITA, she's been stealing for years. It may have only recently escalated to using check routing numbers and stealing checks. But her own Mom says she's stolen lots of money, through the years.

Look at the story she told Amy about her missing $400. Amy didn't even know it was missing before Casey told her that she slept walk and did something with it, lol. I imagine she's clipped money and items from friends here and there as she needed it.

I forgot which boyfriends statement I was reading lastnight, think it was Ricardo. He was asked if he had anything missing or stolen. He said he was told Casey clipped a credit card from him. As everyone struggles to understand the true character of little Miss Casey Anthony, what has become painfully clear to me, is that the most important person in this never ending nightmare, knew. Caylee. She knew. She knew her mother's true character. She knew her heart. She lived it for almost 3 years. Can you imagine knowing what that poor child knew? She knew that she was expendable, she knew that she was a pawn, she knew she was only an accessory, arm candy, when it was convenient for her mother to portray herself as a hard working, loving mother. She did not know a mother's love. She knew the dark side. She saw it every day of her life. She lived with the insanity, the ever changing moods, the lies, the complications, the chaos. And I know what Caylee struggled and wanted more than anything, to find peace and love. And to find a place in her mother's heart where she might find a place to be. But it never was to be. Casey treated Caylee exactly like she treated everyone else in her life. Used her for what she was worth and then threw her away.
We all need to really look at this and do all that we can to bring this child justice. To do for her what her mother never did for her. To bring her dignity and unconditional love. Caylee belongs to all of us now and we will see this to the end. Stay focused and determined and let this play out with law enforcement.
With each step they take, they are holding Miss Casey accountable and responsible for her actions. Casey is not used to this. She can't manipulate her way out of this. It will all come together and she will go down. And for the first time in her life, her mom and dad can't make this go away. That is where I see the frustration coming from with her parents, they can't fix this. They have lost control. Casey has lost control. And Caylee has lost her life.
To Casey and her parents, Caylee has become merely collateral damage. Their focus now is to save their daughter. That is all they know. This explains it all.

I know that if someone stole checks from me and then went on a spending spree, my bank would not reimburse me any money. They would close my account and reopen another one but any money I lost I would just be out and my only recourse to get it back would be to file charges with the local DA. What I didn't like however was, he kept saying the Anthony's aren't against anyone who wants to conduct searches for Caylee's remains. He'd go on to say, they don't have a problem with people doing that, but that they weren't going to search for remains when they believe Caylee is still alive. Ultimately, he said the Anthony's supported those searches. If that's so true, why wouldn't they at minimal provide something of Caylee's that the search team asked for?

The HOA wants the protesters to me removed and they filed an injunction. That's what he was referring to, however until the injunction is ruled on they still have the right to be there. Just because one was filed doesn't mean they have to leave yet.JMO

Probably because some people have already convicted the grandparents and have deemed them culpable to some extent with Caylees disappearance, I read stuff like that on lots of sites. How horrible it has to be for Cindy, she actually went to see a shrink to deal with Caseys stealing, and she took the advice from the shrink to kick Casey out and Casey left and probably killed Caylee in SPITE. I feel very, very sorry for her. moo

It doesn't matter what the public thinks, there is no need to lawyer up because your neighbor might think you're guilty of something. The only reason they'd need a defense atty is because they've been charged with a crime, or unless they are guilty and are expecting to be charged with something. Thanks to Casey, the Anthony's don't have a pot to P*ss in, regardelss if NeJame is charging a reduced rate for them, they can't afford to lawyer up willy nilly. There is good reason they've obtained counsel imo, it just hasn't been made known yet.

The home owner's association is most likely putting pressure on the Anthonys. LE through the courts can act upon an injunction by the Home Owners association. Perhaps they want to end the circus, or to remove them from the neighborhood via the courts. Some associations can be ruthless. I hope they do force them out. Maybe the supporters and donors can buy them a new house.

Lee states that the LE has no authority and don't know what they are doing in relation to the rules in their area concerning the subdivision to the blonde lady sitting with her dog, but Cindy called them anyway for a ruling. Well I don't really know how successful they will be. But I think they are tring to cut some slack for the Anthony's out of sympathy..you know, don't want to make matters worse for them. JMO

I think he spoke well on behalf of the Anthony's and steered clear of Casey's case. He managed to dodge all of NG's attempts to lure info out of him and remained professional even when it was clear that NG was insulting him. I was bothered by his mannerisms though, he sits hunched forward, and fidgets a lot, looked like a kid sitting on his foot and kept adjusting. Was driving me crazy!

hmmnn...I was completely unimpressed by the lecture, and by the way he contradicted what Cindy herself told us about the Tim and the searchers dedicating their time and money to search. I don't remember an official link either but I do remember that they were suposed to have said they wanted to find Caylee ALIVE and Tim DID NOT and the item of caylees was for a dog to sniff out a non-living vaylee.

They certainly must realize that any searches in the swamps, woods, etc are not expected to find an alive and puzzled lost caylee sitting in the dark waiting for rescue. Too much time has gone by.

I thought the same thing about him not wanting to know the truth. HE CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH! (Sorry, could not help it).
