Good morning. I can't sleep...
I am bringing this post over from the earlier thread:

This really bothers me.
I thought a person could not profit from their crimes!
Really..to me...if the Anthony's are spending $$ they've made from this case..ie selling interviews, pictures etc....to the benifit of Casey, it should all have to be paid back.
This is truely disgusting.
I have seen other people write posts like this and I wanted to address it. I think a few things would make it possible for Casey and the Anthony's to profit from the crime.
#1 - I thought the "Son of Sam" law had been struck down. That is why the Rocha's are suing Scott Peterson because if he wanted to - he could sell his story and profit from it. From my research for that case - I remember reading that the Son of Sam law was struck down because the Supreme Court ruled that it interfered with our "freedom of speech".
Someone correct me if I am wrong about that but that's what I recall.. Or maybe it was just struck down in California.
#2 - Casey hasn't been convicted of a crime.. She hasn't even been charged with murder YET, so I don't think the "Son of Sam" clause would pertain to her as of right NOW... if the clause still exists.
#3 - if I am incorrect about #1 and #2 --- the GPs, George and Cindy, would be exempt from the Son of Sam law anyway, since they were NOT responsible for the crime (allegedly). So they could essentially sell the story and use the money to pay for her attorney fees.
It's sickening that companies would be willing to pay them for their story but it's not surprising. It's blood money.. plain and simple.

Having a hard time staying awake working the graveyard shift tonight.
Does anyone know if and when TES will start searching again?

Psychic Investigating Caylee Disappearance Now Under Investigation

Not sure if anyone saw this. It looks intersting.
Yes, it looks interesting but you have to remember that the Anthonys and Baez are in full assault mode right now. There *may* be a totally different story than what some poster is wanting you to believe.
Pound of salt and all that jazz.

#1, Son of Sam laws are state law, not federal laws. The original New York law was struck down also, but various states (including New York) do now have laws to prevent felons from capitalizing on their crimes written with an eye towards adhering to the First Amendment ruling laid out by the Supreme Court. I don't know if Florida has a current Son of Sam law or not, but as far as I know, it hasn't been struck down. The California Son of Sam law was struck down in 2002.
#2 and #3 are correct. Nobody has been charged, much less convicted, of anything to do with Caylee's murder, so there's nothing to stop anyone from profiting by selling their rights to a book, movie, etc.

I think this whole money thing is a sad reflection of what our country has become. People used to be ashamed to be connected to anything criminal. It was the reason people were cut out of families, not given jobs, and thrown out of social circles. Now many people profit from their wrongdoing and somehow the money eases their consciences.
I can't imagine following this case for many more months because what we know will happen, will happen -- another breaking case will push Caylee to the back burner. Fewer searchers will show, TES will eventually pack up and leave, and after the dust settles there will sit Casey and her family moving on with their lives. It's a shame, but eventually that's what I see happening. :(

I believe the LE has enough evidence to charge, and most likely convict Casey of at least 2nd degree murder in the death of Caylee. We haven't heard all the results of all the forensics tests. I believe they're holding off charging her for now, hoping to find her body. But, I don't think they'll just let it drop if they don't find her.

I hope you're right. What bothers me is that we've heard other leaks about this and that (chloroform, presence of decomp), but noone has leaked anything about much else which makes me wonder if there's nothing else to say.
Good thing is that there's no statute of limitations on murder and bones have certainly been recovered many years later and presented as evidence. Of course the elephant in the room is that Casey will maintain that Zenaida did it. CASEY IS THE ONLY ONE WITH MOTIVATION THOUGH. I'm glad they at least have info about the web search for chloroform and info about a counselor visit from Cindy. I think it does strengthen the theory that Casey left mad with Caylee.
I'll never understand cases like this...

TES may get called to another case. One with a fresher trail, with a higher chance of rescuing a live person. Nobody knows what will happen. I doubt however that local searchers will ever stop, unless LE decides that they have covered enough ground as to eliminate any chance of finding her remains, or they have enough evidence to make charges.
However I doubt this case will ever be on the backburner as long as public outrage over the circumstances continue, and people continue to speak out and demand justice.

I so hope that this does not become "backburnered" and believe the outrageous behavior of the Anthony clan just might prevent that from happening! These media mavens will keep their drama "out there", assuming that they'll garner sympathy & maybe $ while those who barely knew/"know" Caylee will keep her in their hearts & minds. IMO, the "Anthony Action figures" have had a major blowout, backfire and are driving on rims, leaving sparks as they go & ppl better move aside or get incinerated/investigated/implicated!!!!!!.

I don't know what to say except that I'm very sad and frustrated. We're approaching the 3 month mark since anyone last saw Caylee and we're nowhere closer to finding out what happened to her.
All we hear about is the circus. The hi fiving, the brownies, the garbage pickers and now the possible book deal and promotional tour or whatever the grandparents attorney is up to.
I just don't know anymore. I honestly believe that if they had enough evidence against her, they'd charge her.

I think it's a crying shame that they are and will make money off the death and possible murder of this child. Cold, cruel and calculating. I can only keep hanging onto the faith that they will reap what they sow, every one of them. And I do have some control... I won't buy any books, I won't watch any movies and I won't watch any interviews as well as I will write to any sponsors of any television shows. That's just what I will do, not suggesting it for anyone else.
As for the website that is going to be going up for donations for Casey's defense fund, I don't think that will work for a minute. Remember Dru Peterson and his website. It didn't last but a couple of days before they gave up and took it down due to no interest in donating and also such bad press and reaction from people. JMHO

I makes it much easier to get a convition when a body is found. Since Casey isn't going anywhere, I don't think the LE is going to rush to charge her with murder. There is the right to a speedy trial to consider, so the LE normally wants to gather as much evidence as possible before charging the suspect. There are cases where the defendant was charge and aquitted, then evidence that probably would have brought a convition was found afterwards. With the double jeopardy law, those people couldn't be charged and tried again, and are walking around free as a bird.

Don't give up hope. Talking to DH last night and he's always maintained that they only hope to find the body to bolster their case. He thinks that when push comes to shove, she will be charged with Murder 1, with or without the body. Seems like a long time for us, but remember she will, in all likelihood, be serving serious time for her current charges. Time is on the side of LE to continue searching.
That, and watching the Anthonys totally implode.....

But what got me is them saying that it will be hard now that so much time has passed to determine a cause of death.. The CH wont show up so the family will probably be cleared on that and go along with the " cleaning" theory.. That makes me mad!!:flamemad:

As much as I want to see her back NOW, I think they also know that she will be back in November from her current charges. She won't be out long and they also may soon file more charges putting her back in. She'll get out again due to her folks, but just when she gets comfortable and cocky, she'll have to spend a couple of nights back in. And after November, she'll be in for good. They can then file murder charges any time while she is serving time for her current crimes. MOO

gmorning . . . hope you've also read this site . . . she's ticked about $ on the table . . .
So, here's my plan: I propose that we start a worldwide Internet campaign against any outlet that pays Casey Anthony anything, even a single dollar, for an interview. We do this by monitoring the news to find out who the offenders are and then sending out e-mails to all our friends, asking them to tell all their friends, and so on, so on, warning everyone of this disgusting behavior, urging them not to watch whatever television program Anthony appears on. If there's money involved, turn the TV off! Maybe keep it off that channel/program even after the interview airs, just for good measure. Let these lowlifes know we mean business.

Keep the faith! I have a great belief in LE & the DA..most are hard working, honest individuals who want to better life by having justice and order prevail thru chaos. The inner workings of charging a case are complex, the more info available the better and just the behaviors you itemized will be/are fodder for LE to investigate & the DA to try use in trial.
From dealing with cases here, I've seen the LE committ to rounding up all parties involved. I'm sure they want each & every possible item of evidence, especially Caylee to provide whatever closure emotionally and "noose tighten" the perp (s). The stronger the case with "concrete evidence" as Cindy would say, the better; less possibility of a waltzing guilty perp.
Charges will be coming!.....We've been so spoiled by the quick resolution of crimes on TV shows that appear soooooooooo realistic!

Nancy is right about not being able to profit from your crime in FL, per their Son of Sam law. But, they have to be convicted of the crime for that to be effective, and Casey hasn't even been charged with murder yet, so she could legally profit from selling her rights as of right now.

He told us more about Caylee as a person than the Anthonys EVER have.
I'm not worried about anyone not being able to determine COD. If a body of a 2 year old is found in a swamp, it's a good bet that it wasn't from natural causes.

I understand that but the longer they wait, the more the defense builds their case as well. Why do you think Baez hasn't invoked his right to a speedy trial? Look at what's happening. People taking garbage from the Anthonys as an example. Do you think if anything was found in that garbage bag and presented to LE as evidence, they can use it? No way. Also, I'm starting to question the real reason TES left. Don't get me wrong....I love Tim Miller and what he does for victims and their families but if they found anything, the defense could possibly use that as evidence against the search and claim it was planted by a volunteer searcher or it's contaminated or whatever.
The longer they wait, the risk just gets higher, imo.
I hope Tony, Amy and those who gave witness statements stay out of the media. It would be a disaster if they start to talk. All these folks like Nate and Clint coming out to get their 15 minutes is NOT helping. The defense can use these statements and prove inconsistencies. Clint said one thing, Nate says another. Get what I mean? We know they're watching and listening and trying to find any holes possible.

The Anthonys' behavior is totally despicable. Not only have they thrown Caylee under the bus in favor of Casey, but are using her murder as their "meal ticket". From day one they asked for donations, including gift cards, to search for Caylee. We all know how that search went. It boggles my mind that there are people out there who are so naive that they are still sending money to the Anthonys. What did P T Barnum say about fools? The word "grifter" in the dictionary will now have a picture of this family.
I really have never felt such animosity toward the family of a suspect. Usually, I feel some sympathy toward a suspect's family---right now, it would not bother me a bit, if all four of them got the DP! It is horrific, that NeJames (?) is going on a "publicity tour"--we have definitely reached a low point in jurisprudence.
I know that LE rarely charges members of the suspect's family, but I think they should make an exception in this case. C, G, and L have done everything possible to make this case as difficult as possible for LE and TES--and they don't even tell believable lies. I think they should be charged with AAF and perjury (if, they lied in their sworn statements--which, I believed they did). If they are not charged, can you imagine what the effects of that message will be? What will the next "family" do to protect some POS?
The fact that this family wants to make their fortune on the "blood money" of their granddaughter and niece tells me all I need to know about them. I would like to see NG and/or GVS do a show on this topic!

FROM ARTICLE: ABOUT SEARCHERS
For those who want to help, they bless them, but there is another group of people who are searching for a living Caylee. . . . Just don't beat them up over it if they have hope that their granddaughter is still with us.
WHAT OTHER GROUP OF SEARCHERS? Why have we not heard of this before?
1) Because they don't exist?
2) Because they are "working outside the normal scope of things"?
3) Because they are figments of Cindy's imagination?
We can rest assured that group doesn't include any of the Anthonys.
But my money's on #1.
JMHO
I don't doubt LE is working around the clock. I don't doubt Tim Miller's dedication to find little Caylee's body. I don't doubt the posters on this board and other boards want justice for Caylee.
I won't mention the other cases where the perps are walking around when they should be in jail. The victim is still missing and the person responsible is carrying on like nothing happened.
Been there way too many times to know that justice is not always served. If LE is waiting for a confession or needs the body to charge her, it may never happen.

On a side note, I watched the cross examin. of Cindy last night again at the bond hearing and saw something that I missed the first time around that had me laughing outloud. At one point the woman asked her if Casey lived with her all the time and Cindy said yes, since she was born. (paraphrasing) And the woman said, "HOW OLD is she???" Cindy said 22. And the woman said something like "right".... Cindy got a horrible mean look on her face and cocked her head at the woman like "you want to make something out of it?" ROFL :D

Exactly my point. And that's just one example. Someone brought up the time Tony went to pick up Casey at Amscot. Apparently, Clint said 7ish and Nate said between 11 and 1. This is from what I read on last night's thread.

The right to a speedy trial doesn't take effect until the suspect is charged, and I believe arraigned. And, it's the defendant's right to a speedy trial, not the defense attorneys. Since Casey hasn't been charged with murder yet, so that speedy trial right is a moot point right now.

Good morning. I can't sleep...
I am bringing this post over from the earlier thread:
JMO
I was wondering about the Son of Sam law too.
You know Nancy even said that anyone convicted of a crime even child neglect could not profit.
but I figured Cindy and George could always sell the story and the information we got last night may have really meant THEY were selling the story.
It is a sad state of affairs when someone will pay for that and worse yet that anyone would buy the book etc.
I guess we can always hope that if thius is done that the people paying will go broke.
I guess someone will always say it is their right but what about the morality of the whole thing.
Nobody in that family seems to want to do the RIGHT THING.
since Casey aparrantly has never been made accountable for anything she has done.

Nah, he didn't drop the F-bomb on Nancy Grace. :D
Seriously, didn't they attend the Full Sail school (something like that); arts, film.....
JMHO
I'm wondering about the funds the Anthonys had set up for the search? Where did that money (if any was received) went? The public was assured (IIRC) that it would not be used for anything else, but, who was administering it, and where did it really go? (Cuz I'm thinking none was probably given to TES, else we would have heard about that?)
It sounds like they will be coming into plenty of money--why would people need to donate to a defense fund, when they could use the $millions they will receive from interviews, etc. Is it true that their "exlusive" w/20/20 got them $1M? That interview (never released videos, pics, etc) has already occured, so that should be money in the bank right now. The other deals haven't been finalized (that we know of for sure?) but one can suppose that @ least ONE of those deals will come to fruition. Heck, even MG only charged $1M--so it would seem that the Anthonys already have enough $$ for a defense team.

Okay this goes back to yesterday's discussion about the CH drug and the fact that there were flies that flew out obviously alive when Tow guy & George opened the trunk. I just re-found the Cliff-Note to the Doc dump and yes it does say that about the flies. I thought so but had to re-check.
I have the link to the C-Notes but do not know if it is okay to post it. Read the rules.... Blah Blah Blah.......and something in my dyslexic self just keeps getting mixed up.
I can PM it though.........if anyone wants. Then if someone more rule sauvy than I chooses to, they could post it.
I want to add: I sure wish Nancy would ask Koby that question?.......How the heck could those flies have been alive?
I don't know how true this is but I read that the flies could have stayed alive by flying around in the upper part of the trunk while the chloroform was on the bottom.
Like I said not sure if that is a fact but it sounded good any how.

I too see all the anthonys as very destructive people but I have a different take on who ultimately is going to pay the price. I believe that cynthia and george are partly to blame for the type of human into which casey anthony has evolved, thru their enabling. Acting when it was too late by kicking her out of the home and not filing for Caylee before they took that action, has resulted in the nightmare they have now, imo.
cynthia and george are well aware of the monster they have living with them, they always have been, imo. At some point this fact will implode what's left of that family, because this situation will never get better, only worse. Life as they know it is over, forever.
I am firmly convinced that Justice will be served in this case, despite how much money this family makes off of Caylee's death.

I believe Florida still has a version of the Son of Sam law on the books but it's moot at this point. No one involved has been convicted of a crime so that law wouldn't pertain to them. If Casey is arrested, tried and convicted for murdering Caylee she wouldn't be able to profit from the crime. The police have repeatedly said the grandparents aren't suspects so they can sell their story if they choose to.

When looking at the businesses in the neighborhood of Amscot, there's a CVS where she might have bought a few groceries and it looked like there was a fast food place to the right where she could have had some breakfast while she waited before she called. What is most interesting is something we haven't heard the result of yet and that is the financial transactions from the Amscot. IIR LE has requested this information and I know there has been talk here about whether Casey cashed a check at Amscot or not. Maybe there will be additional check charges. When I think about these things I realize there is so very much more that we don't know.

Good Morning:
Just thinking out loud. If casey did sell Caylee, could casey be up on more and longer charges for putting her daughter on the black market? And also not just negelect? Maybe that is why ca and ga are insisting Caylee is alive. Maybe Casey told the parents that is just what she did and the parents are covering up so no more then neglect charges can be put againts casey. We all know casey was desperate for money
We all see casey is not showing any remorse and not active in the search for Caylee. And seems to have money all the time. It was just a matter of time before the stolen money was reported, and she would be out of money.
As for the cloroform,it could be she just wanted Caylee to go to sleep so she can party
Was Calee's clothes, diapers etc. in her back pack there or missing? If the clothes were missing could the grandp put new clothes in there?
As for the decop found in the trunk be just a scare tactic by the police?

When looking at the businesses in the neighborhood of Amscot, there's a CVS where she might have bought a few groceries and it looked like there was a fast food place to the right where she could have had some breakfast while she waited before she called. What is most interesting is something we haven't heard the result of yet and that is the financial transactions from the Amscot. IIR LE has requested this information and I know there has been talk here about whether Casey cashed a check at Amscot or not. Maybe there will be additional check charges. When I think about these things I realize there is so very much more that we don't know.
Did Nate have an interview in the 400+ documents?
I think in terms of Amy's checks, we have heard it all. They checks so far listed have totalled about $750 which Amy has claimed to have cleaned out her bank account.

Hey, look on the bright side: That $1 MIL offer must be exquisite torture for Casey. Can you imagine how much she, in her larcenous heart, would like to take that deal? And of course, she cannot. The last thing she can do is go public, on the record, with the old or the new set of ridiculous lies. Her defense has a rough enough time with the signed handwritten piece of fiction and the BS she told the police on July 16.
Baez has his work cut out defending Casey.
The strongest point he has will be she left Caylee with one of 500 ZF and LE wont look for her.

Just thinking....but I so beleive Casey is murder Caylee:shrug:
I truly do not believe for a moment that the police are trying to deceive the public about decomposition in the trunk as a "scare tactic."
Nor, do I believe Casey was scared of her thefts being found out, so she needed to sell Caylee. Her major theft, the embezzlement of thousands of dollars from her grandmother's bank account, was already discovered and repaid from Cindy's 401K. Casey never feared consequences from her actions, as she never seemed to have to face them.

Yes they can.

heck, even taking her missing daughter out of the mix, she is building up the check cashing charges. and i believe when the foundation funding the atty for george and cindy starts to lose donation funds, they may rethink their actions. not all non-profits and children's charities are deserving of our hard-earned money...there are several others that would put donations to good use, not the anthony's use. jmo

How sad a comparison is that. Cindy and George have a daughter who claims to know who has their granddaughter. She simply isn't telling anyone. HUGE DIFFERENCE and quite insulting to the families of POW/MIA's.
Agreed Cassidy. Wow, I'm having trouble choking down my first cup of coffee after reading that article.
I wish someone had asked Mr. NeJame the hard questions. Like what percentage of victims do you know who bail out their perpetrators and give them a place to stay, or is it true that George and Cindy used "donations" to bail out Casey and were those donations in fact earmarked for Caylee's trust?
Methinks he would respond in the typical lawyerese.

Yeah, you're right. I don't know that she stole checks from G & C. Just a lot of credit card charges or cash advances, but, it certainly wouldn't be surprising if there were checks, as well.
Casey is a very enterprising thief. Living as she does at the moment, without being able to steal, must be very frustrating for her.

It's her Constitutional right to see her atty. I agree it is excessive, but the law affords her that. Nothing can or will be done about it. Hate it when the perp/suspect's rights are valued higher than the victim's but unfortunately, it is the law of the land.

Good morning. I can't sleep...
I am bringing this post over from the earlier thread:
JMOMorning all! ...Aubrey!:seeya:( my oldest is Audrey...gets called Aubrey constantly.)
I am just sick over the profiteering too. My thought was that it is the fact that no charges are in yet that allows the $ mongering, and that the G-parents have no charges pending. I believe that is why Casey is not yet profiting, Baez is "holding" those offers as he knows she wouldn't get to keep them if convicted...not to mention the public outcry which is bad enough now. If people find out she actually made a million, she had better be free to go into hiding. IMO her life would definitely be at risk. AFAIK, Son of Sam has been challenged a few times, but is currently standing. Maybe I can find out for sure on the net later, or maybe a law student here knows?
I honestly don't know how they could live with themselves just back when they were in the intial "Protect Casey Mode"...now that they are selling out Caylees life for profit I can't even muster any real sympathy for them. Hopefully, if they are more than just flush inn the end, the SD, TES, and other agencies that gave of so much effort and funding can sue to recoup some expenses. Like what happened in the Runaway Bride fiasco. I also bet plenty of folks will be calling the IRS to advise them to keep tabs on the Anthony finances.
The funny thing is, if I thought the $ would actually be earmarked mainly for TES, KidFinders, and the like I'd be cheering them on...at least a child would benefit and something positive would be made of this tragedy.
I guess Casey's dreams of fame and fortune have come true. And all at theincidental expense of murdering her child. Disgusting!
JMO.

I'm not sure what you mean by the Cliff-Note (so PM me the link) but wasn't there an old pizza in the trunk when it was recovered? That would draw flies (pizza was probably planted by Casey - why else is a half eaten pizza left in a trunk?? - to cover the body smell. I think she intentionally ran the car out of gas so it would sit with the pizza in it for awhile to cover the body smell she couldn't get rid of.)

Listen, I (and you) hate the fact that she bonded out at all. But, remember:
A) She is stuck spending every night, all night, with Cindy and George. This is something that she must hate.
B) She can never see friends from her care-free days; all these people know she is a liar who partied while her child was gone.

D) She cannot steal anything.

It's a phone bank that automatically dials the numbers of people living in the immediate area of where the child was last seen, who they were with - sort of like a telephone Amber Alert. It is a pre-recorded message with phone numbers for tips, a description of the child, clothing, birthmarks, etc.
It was used, IIRC, in the Jessica Lunsford case.
It works best when it is implemented immediately upon notification to LE that a child is missing. I'm not sure what good it did in this case as there was a 31 day delay.

Yes, the reverse 911 is clearly mentioned in their mission statement.
http://www.neverlosehopefoundation.org/about.html
However, the hiring of high profile defense attorneys for a POI or members of their family is NOT.
And yet we have this statement from the Orlando Sentinel:
Orlando-based missing-children's organization Never Lose Hope Foundation hired NeJame to help the couple.
Clearly someone is lying. Is it NeJames?
Is this the same organization that provided GA with the billboard. I read or heard somewhere that GA told reporter that he was going to drive it into Georgia and the other surrounding states but instead drove it to a parking lot and parked it. Is that true? imo

I get that and that is a good idea........Yet do remember anything she says can and will be used against her.
That's my thought...let her sing to as many outlets as possible, telling more and more lies to be confronted with which will only hurt her in court. Let the networks and rag magazines pay to interrogate her rather than the good people of Florida, as long as it's on tape that can be subpoenaed. When she's out and comfortable and feeling invincible is when she's gonna slip. We don't have to buy the product(s), but by all means let her sing because if she does no amount of money is gonna be enough for her family to save her from herself, and sadly I think it's too late to save Caylee.
thanks for all the feed back....much appreciated:seeya:

Good question Shelbar, to this point any "leaks" or information released have come on the tail end of an Anthony spin, so perhaps you may be onto something. Stay tuned.....

UGH, no way can I get caught up, so I'll appreciate any 'cliff notes' on current matters, if there are any.
Fell asleep during NG last night, saw part of Nate's interview.
What's up with the investigation of I guess BodyHunters?!?!! Saw that on the link page, but can't get video at work.
Heard on NG while my eyes were growing heavy about a new "area of interest" to search, anymore news on that??
Or the clothing and bones (thought to be a bird) from yesterday??
As far as the Body Hunters, Gail whatever her last name is, says that someone in California donated 3 nights stay at a motel but now says that Gail charged her for a weeks or more stay.

Good Lawd, don't know what happened to my post, I tried to edit it and all kinds of things were inserted. Will do it over. From the docs:
Pg. 32 regarding 1 short phone call from Zanny on 6/12, she says Zenaida never made an attempt to explain why Caylee is no longer in Orlando or if she is ever going to bring her home. Could she have been giving a clue that Caylee is not in Orlando, or trying to push the search anywhere but Orlando?

The billboard, IIRC, was provided by KidFinders.
I don't know where he drove the billboard, but he never was gone long enough to drive it to Georgia, Texas or wherever it was he said he was going.
I believe that most of the time the billboard was reportedly seen at Publix (grocery store) where George was handing out fliers. That's JMO 'cause I don't have a link.

Don't tell the A's I said this, and if they're reading this...close your eyes A's...but they could all collaborate on a book titled "How To-Self Destruct A Family In 5 Easy Steps".

Thank you for the explanation. I'm sure it didn't do any good in this case, not just because of the lag time, but because it's all b.s. JMO

If for some unforeseen reason she gets that money, I can't imagine where she will be able to go to live and spend it. Look at the "protesters" are now, she will be treated much worse than any sex offender trying to find a place to live. Besides, ill gotten gains are just that, much like a huge curse, especially in this case. JMOI have no doubt that if significant funds get to either casey herself or her parents that she will leave the country. Illegally or legally...enough money will buy your way out to a country that won't extradite or at least one where you are liable to be anonymous. It's happened before, and I certainly think none of them would be above it.
I had also thought Casey a flight risk due to her lack of ties to family and community and her ability to scam...Either I'm wrong in that or the $ amount isn't high enough yet. I guess no funds have actually hit bank accounts yet where she can access them, when they do I'll be watching to see what happens.

I just dropped them an email. I said that I hope this information was incorrect. I also told them that if it was correct then I would contact everyone I knew, their fiscal sponsor, the IRS and the Florida Attorney Generals office about their pending nonprofit status.
I run a nonprofit....Believe me, if I was deluged with thousands of emails from the public, I would change something and change it fast........
Also, once you send your message it says "continue" and it goes to a raffle page. I would be interested in finding out who was donating those high ticket raffle items. They should receive a little message as well.

Is there anyone we can all email regarding casey spending all that time in Baez's office? I thought house arrest is house arrest. As for being afraid of the house being bugged I am sure with all the donations the Anthony' are getting they could hire someone who would be able to find any bugs in the house.
We all know Baez has other clients and can not just be talking to casey because he needs to make a living. this is just another loop hole in the judical system that the lawyer is using! And if she is not just talking to Baez, why isn't someone in the office reporting this with out leaving a name?
This is HOUSE ARREST NOT OFFICE ARREST! I would be protesting the judge!!!!hammer
It wouldn't do any good to email them. Casey hasn't been charged with murder yet, and the most serious crime she has been charged with is child neglect. Normally, when someone is bonded out for child neglect, they don't wear an ankle monitor, aren't confined to their home, and have very few restricitons. And, their bond is between a PR bond and $1500, on the average. Not half a million $ as is Caseys. And, Caseys restrictions are FAR more than normal for the crimes she's charged with already.

There were maggots in the garbage bag, maybe that's where the flies were coming from. Maybe they were still hatching.

It was on that day the realization came to them, ever since, they have been following the agenda to protect Casey and deflect the truth to anywhere else but where it points, their daughter. If they believed for a second that child were alive, they would physically be looking for her. They never have, not one time have they searched. They needn't they were looking at the truth when they faced their daughter with the continuing lies that she has told for almost 3 months. I just can't look past all that as some others are able to do. The only vicitm I find in this is Caylee. Cindy and George may feel like victims but their situation was self inflicted.

Just a rambling (Horrible) thought that came at me last night...
What if the Chloroform was used to knock Caylee out, put her to sleep...as it's known to be used for.
And then Caylee was just abandoned somewhere, just like Casey did with her car...just abandoned.
So it's true that Casey doesn't "know where she's out"
I've heard, somewhere (without validation, but just thoughts and ""visions"", so take that for what it's worth)...speculation of her burying poor Caylee alive also.
But with that said, I'll leave it alone, because my mind just can't fathom that.
But what is she did just abandon her?? And poor lil' Caylee, so young...lost out there somewhere, scared and alone, starving..
Wait, that couldn't explain the dog hits and decomp' though, could it?

Looking at the 400 documents again (thanks for the link - a better quality than the ones I had previously looked at BTW) I'm struck that what they show as the 1st 911 call wasn't CA's first call - she had already called about the stolen car from her cell phone while driving and was waiting for a deputy when the made what the documents refer to as the "1st" 911 call.
My question is where is the transcription of that first call? Did CA call 911 for that, or did she call the police at a non-911 number? I think it would be interesting to hear what CA had to say, if anything, to cops about where Caylee supposedly was in THAT conversation. Anybody know of a link to CA's first call to cops that day?

They needn't they were looking at the truth when they faced their daughter with the continuing lies that she has told for almost 3 months. I just can't look past all that as some others are able to do. The only vicitm I find in this is Caylee. Cindy and George may feel like victims but their situation was self inflicted. Caylee did not decide to up and walk out on this family and disappear.
I do agree with your post to a certain extent.I believe that they know there original reaction is right deep down inside but that is where the denial aspect comes in. I do put blame on them for things that they did wrong but my main blame goes on Casey she has done this to all of them. Caylee of course is my main concerned and I do beleive she is the main victim and Caysee is the one to blame. Everyone us is just in a roll that they did not choose to be in. In due time the Anthonys will see I have faith in that. How can you not. I do bbelieve that Caysee will pay hopefully the right way in jail and not out but if she is out she will always be known as the women who killed her child and what decent human being would want anything to do with her. She will grow old and lonely with just a memory of what a beautiful life she really could of have. That tatoo will really haunt her for the rest of her life.

was a Nate living with TonE and Clint, why no police interview? I think Clint & Nate are one in the same, and Clint said Casey took Caylee home to grandma at night and Nate says the nanny, someone must be lying. to many player to many lies, you don't know who to believe,
and i sure don't believe the Anthony's stories.
I posted a link on last night's thread of Clint's interview with Greta. IMO, they are NOT the same person. The voices are different.
We do not know that Clint and Nate were not interviewed. There are a lot of things I expected to see in the 400 + documents that were not there. IOW, LE did not release everything.
The only person lying is Casey. Casey told people Caylee was with her parents or the nanny. George and Cindy have stated repeatedly they have not seen Caylee during that month in question. Zanny the Nanny only exists in Double Trouble Squared.

Not sure if there is transcripts, but here is a link to the audio's of all the 911 calls.

I like Nancy, but she is making me mad about the chloroform issue. I love Daniel Horowitz, and he in my eyes was right about the chloroform being used as a cleanser to cover something up in the trunk, but Nancy didn't even want to hear it, to me it appeared she wanted that chloroform to have been used to drug Caylee, its like her tunnel vision was in full swing.
From the flurry of phone calls around the time that Caylee went missing, I am convinced something happened at the house, hence the cadaver dogs hitting. I honestly do think that Casey knew the ladder was in the pool, and let Caylee be unattended and let fate take over. jmo
If chloroform was used as a cleanser, where's the bottle and who used it? It would be innocent if somebody used chloroform all the time as a cleanser (yeah, right) and could testify to that, so if that's why it's there why not bring out the bottle?

Well, the bag isn't airtight to begin with if there are flies in it right? So wouldn't the chloroform get in it too?
I would think so... Since there were live flies when the trunk was open, the chloroform was introduced after the car was picked up from the tow company.

Agreed about the laptop. A while back this was a topic of discussion. I understood from the docs the laptop was confiscated, but I misunderstood that it was found in the car.
I don't think it was found in the car. Casey was still using it for "work" while she was living at TonE's. :D She'd let go of her right arm before she'd leave her laptop in that car.

I'm torn on the chloroform issue. I tend to think it was used in the cleaning of the vehicle by the parents, but then why was there soil still in the car? And if it was used to harm Caylee, I wonder if the searches on the internet will prove it was purchased by Casey using Cindy's credit card, hence the need for the Anthony parents to get a high profile defense atty. I'm undecided about this.

Second, Clint's statements that Caylee stayed with her grandparents referred to the nights before 6/15 ( he says he last saw her 6/13)...Casey began reporting to all that Caylee was with the nanny pretty consistently after that. Nate did mention the grandparents having Caylee some IIRC, but he may have JUST been referring to the time before he last physically saw Caylee. For everyone involved that is on or near the 15th of June. After that Casey told people Caylee was with her nanny when they asked AFAIK.
Mention is made of her faking calls to Gramma too, but I don't recall any specific dates in the documents (LE interviews) as to when Casey pretended to call her mother and when she was pretending that Caylee was at the nanny's.
All just JMO. until I get time to fact check...or until someone with facts and time at hand comes along to set us both straight.

We know they're watching and listening and trying to find any holes possible.
i don't think nate was too interested in 15 fame minutes or wouldn't he have showed his face? if we, who are strangers to these ppl, are highly frustrated, can you imagine how frustrated ppl are that actually knew and loved little Caylee?

This is a gross story, but it might help explain the flies and the maggots. When I was a kid, my grandmother had a pot on the stove for saving bacon grease. One day in the summer, I lifted the lid to use it, and it was full of maggots. It had only been there about four days. The lid was tight. You tell me where the maggots came from...

Yea, but I think the Grandparents need a lil' dose of Karma too, for chosing the defense of their whacko daughter over finding their innocent grandchild.
No one probably knows Casey more than Cindy Anthony...no one. To know how she is, how she operates, how her "mind" works.
It's obvious Casey isn't going to give the answers, but I'd be willing to bet that Cindy could offer some great suggestions as to what happened and where Caylee may be.
But in order to do this, Cindy has to put the guard down on defending and enabling her daughters actions and care enough about her granddaughter to show some "tough love" towards Casey.
I don't expect her to stop loving her daughter, no matter how unthinkable whatever it is she's done---if the truth ever unfolds.
I do however expect her to show that same love for the innocent child, Caylee, above and beyond!

I would think so... Since there were live flies when the trunk was open, the chloroform was introduced after the car was picked up from the tow company.
jmoActually, Chloroform is heavier than air. It is quite possible that if the air in the trunk/car was fairly undisturbed ( as it would be sitting in a tow yard for 15 days) that there was plenty of fresh air for the flies to survive with. trunks are not totally airtight either. ( I ran this theory past my uncle ( Jimmy Lish) who is a Physiology/Biology professor for O.S.U., he said it is very possible and had lots of other technical tidbits for me that I should have written down. I'm no so ggod with scientific terminology! I tried to get him to post and do some Q & A about some of the chlororform issues, but he basically told me to get real! LOL).
AFAIK, no statement has been made factually giving the exact level of Chloroform found. Nancy is prone to hyperbole, and it seems every other person has their own version of how much was found. Significant amounts doesn't necessarily mean cups full...it may mean clinically sig. amounts...micrograms,etc. The exact amount is definitely a factor in the equasion.

I think poor Caylee has been sold down the river. Any monies made as a profit for the family in my opinion is purely blood money, and for ever penny made will produce bad karma for them. I hope so anyway imo. Every single penny. There is a higher power as well that they will all have to answer to someday to answer these questions, and I know Caylee will be there as well to listen to what they have to say. :(

I love it when posters tell other posters what to do. ;)
HOw do you see that as telling other posters what to do? It gave contact information and what that poster did - it was hardly an order.

I have a question and please excuse me if I am wrong on my facts or if this has already been covered but this really stuck out to me on NG last night.
The dinner knife in the car...was it actually found by LE in the car? If so why would Cindy have washed it and then put it back in the car? That makes no sense to me. I have probably missed something along the way but that just stood out in my mind.
TIA and God bless you all!
I've never understood why they bothered to make note of the dinner knife, and why it's always referred to as "a washed knife." If it were a butcher's knife, or a filet knife, that would be different, imo.
Hate to say this, because it probably reflects on my housekeeping skills, but I have several things in my car that are not normally found in a car. Don't think I have a dinner knife, but I do tend to grab a knife occasionally when I really should use a screwdriver. And yes, it would be a "washed" dinner knife. There must be a reason..... that's the kind of thing I always look forward to hearing during a trial, when the evidence starts coming together.

i think that is a great question! i'm just wondering if le was so sure, in the beginning, that the grandparents didn't have anything to do with Caylee's disappearance, that they may have overlooked so many things at their house.....and in their yard....and in their carS

I think somewhere along the way in Caseys travels she ran across someone who told her if anyone ever wanted to get rid of evidence of a body, chloroform would cover it up, or taint materials, I dont know if thats true, but her mind works differently than most peoples, and there are some weird people out there, jmo.
I also wonder if there was some kind of chemical reaction between the cleansers in the trunk, bleach, etc, and it metathesized in the heat or something.
Or, the samples were tainted in the lab. mooIIRC, on the day or so after the Chloroform info. was leaked, someone on IS searched and found a CSI episode that used Chloroform as COD. CSI was Casey's fav. show according to one of her sites ( MySpace, I think).
She may have gotten the idea planted from that. It seems she relies haevily on tv for her basis for reality...reminds me of another perp. who quoted lines from shows/movies to make him seem more normal as he didn't naturally act like others....

Actually, Chloroform is heavier than air.
JMO.
How does that explain that flies flew out of the trunk when opened by George and the impound owner? Are flies impervious to the smell of chloroform?

She didn't have to tell them the knife was ever in the car.
I know this is terrible but I don't believe anything the Anthony's have to say about the trunk- I think they cleaned it out knowing something happened and GA and CA just gave the LE items so it looked like they was cooperating. I think the items proably don't have anything on them and then they can say "see she wasn't in their because no decomp on clothes and items". I hope I am wrong but I believe this was the start of a full blown cover-up and they followed their own script from then to now. imo

IMO, George and Cindy brought a lot of the negative publicity on themselves. They have made so many strange statements to the press that make absolutely no sense.
i.e Casey will not talk because she is afraid Caylee will be harmed or worse and Casey fears for her family's safety, but George turns around a week or two later and says the kidnappers are being watched. If they had so much fear for Caylee and/or the family's safety, why would he tell the media the kidnappers are being watched?
George said the gas cans had been stolen by a neighbor, but then tells Greta Casey stole the gas cans and he had known since 6/24. Why blame it on a neighbor?
Cindy said she had never heard Zanny's name before, but then said Caylee talked about Zanny's puppies.
Cindy said she talked to Casey or texted her every day. Then we learn on Greta (paraphrasing) "the family only had phone records through July 8 because Casey's phone had been shut off for lack of payment per Lee".
Casey is writing a letter, she is being watched in jail, not actually watched as reading over her shoulder, but watched. This letter contains clues and info to Caylee's whereabouts. Her attorney, JB, says there is no such letter and I can't imagine an attorney advising their client to put down details in writing.
I am sure there is more. I understand they did not ask to be thrown into this media circus. I don't understand their need to lie. The lies only bring more questions and make them more suspect.
Gotta run some errands....check back later.

Good morning! I wonder if Casey told people that Caylee was abducted from J. Blanchard Park because that's where Casey put her body - then when Caylee is found (hopefully) at that Park, Casey can say that Nanny Z and Samantha killed her and left her there.
I am coming to the opinion that Casey doesn't really feel anything about the loss of Caylee at all. Just a minor inconvenience out of the way. The dynamic of her mind isn't something I can wrap my arms around. I believe she can rationalize the loss of Caylee somehow and really doesn't seem to feel any pain at all. Perhaps her rationalizing that CA is devastated is her way of inflicting punishment on CA.
I hope Casey grasps that she will go to jail for a long long time. I believe LE have tons of info we are not privy to - and I think we will be shocked when we hear it. We've only heard about the online searches of chloroform - I'll bet if she actually ordered it, they have tracked the purchase and delivery. This girl has been lying to amateurs for years but now she is lying to professionals, and I am 100% positive that she will pay for what she has done. No way jurors will buy any of the story in any way, shape or form. When I see her on news clips coming and going I absolutely despise her - and I am usually someone who gives people the benefit of the doubt.

I am rewatching George testify at the bond hearing. Casey is quite emotional when she sees him, she begins crying before he even speaks. How can she be moved to tears here looking at her dad, and yet we have not seen one bit of emotion from her regarding a missing Caylee? if you can stand to watch this once again, what does anyone think of this?

A lot has been speculated about the "huge" amounts of chloroform...first of all, i don't know how strong the smell is....dr. koby said it dissipates (sp) quickly...but i think for many the point was, how would the flies survive....therefore, thinking, the chloroform came after the flies...
i'm still trying to figure out about your grandma's pot...kinda like when you have flour sitting around in room temperature...and those little eggs hatch that were there all along...and you end up with little bugs...God i hate that!

ITA about J Blanchard Park. I feel like it's been mentioned by her so many times. I really hope that entire park has been gone over with a fine toothed comb.
I keep remembering how Stephen Grant in his television interviews kept mentioning this one park, and he mentioned it so many times that LE planned a search there and eventually found what was left of Tara.
I just have a feeling that especially with Casey's latest story leading back to J Blanchard Park, there's gotta be at least some clues there.

Okay can someone tell me how many days before LE picked up Casey's car from the Anthony's?
What I find strange is that (can not remember where I read this or watched) the night 911 was called..when Lee arrived at the A's, Casey's car was parked at the curb. When LE arrived later it was parked in the garage. Why would they move it?
