Hi Winnie,
Good post. I really don't mind the protesters either, or even think about them much, except when I see all the 'protester bashing' that goes on here.
I think it's very disturbing that the protesters are drawing more anger from many people than the Anthonys are. Maybe that's the state of the society we live in today, but it's very troubling, IMO. So many want to talk about Casey's constitutional rights, and the rights of George and Cindy to protect their daughter no matter what, and also act like fools in front of the media and the public. From a moral perspective, it should be only Caylee's rights that are of concern at the moment.
I think the protesters are angry, and I certainly understand that. I don't think they'd be there at all if George and Cindy didn't seem to be colluding with Casey to tell nothing but lies about what happened to Caylee. I think if George and Cindy had reacted normally to the situation by standing by their daughter as she TOOK RESPONSIBILITY for what she's done, there'd be no protesters outside their home.
I think it's the fact that the whole family just seems so horrible in the way that they act and think, and when you imagine that beautiful child laying alone and utterly lost out there somewhere, well - I think it's normal human emotion to be very, very fed up with the Anthonys. I think it takes a pretty sick person to focus on the protesters instead of the Anthonys.
I do think there are better ways for the protesters to channel their anger and sorrow. But those here who imagine they are superior human beings by keeping the Anthonys (except Caylee's) rights at the forefront are very misguided people, IMO. We can worry about the Anthonys rights after they've shown us they are human beings. The way they can do that is to hold Casey responsible and get to the truth of what happened to Caylee and where her remains can be recovered.:seeya: I have to agree, I like the way you think.
I get tired of hearing all the fussing over the rights of the Adults here...I still don't see any rights being violated, with the exception of the web cam which I do feel is a privacy rights violation. But I simply choose to not partake in watching it, if they feel that it violates there rights then let their attorney address the issue. So many here seem to wish to act os Pro Bono attorneys for Casey and family, I'm sure the Anthony's will chose to leave that to the professionals.
Honestly, the protestoers are coming off as jerks, let them keep to their ways and prove that they aren't out to find Caylee if thats the case. Just like with the Anthony's, it won't take long for most of the public to get disgusted with them when they show their true colors...most of us here see them for the notoriety seekers they are.
Caylees right to be loved and grow up, her right to respect and dignity, and justice are the things I truely care about. Everything else is just "filler" to me while I wait from one clue to the next to watch HER story unfold, and to wait for justice to be found along with Caylee.
Casey and her distorted version of humanity interest me as a case study, and as her actions relate to Caylee. I couldn't care less what a tramp she may have been with however many boyfriends or if she chooses to dress in a tasteless manner. I don't care if she was popular in H.S., what her favorite food is, or even if the protesting bothers her (though I doubt the last).

I for one am glad that the Anthonys are not out searching. Reason being that to me they are suspects and I think that they could taint the search and/or taint evidence if something were found. They haven't been truthful to date so it is probably a good thing that they are staying home baking brownies and high fiving each other and laughing it up.
I think the searchers would not be thankful or happy to have the anthonys out there with them - the opinion of them is not high among the searchers - like I said the other day - it could turn to a public stoning.....

She found an old pizza box, flowers, dozens of cards from people all over the country and media interview requests.
Flowers? The ones that people left on the lawn yesterday?
Dozens of cards from people all over the country? People send cards and they throw them in the trash?
My daughter spent a lot of time in and out of the hospitals when she was a toddler. She received lots of cards and flowers..some from people we didn't even know. She could not have flowers in her room. A hospital volunteer distributed the flowers to other patients. I have every card that was sent.

The way they can do that is to hold Casey responsible and get to the truth of what happened to Caylee and where her remains can be recovered.
What an excellent post. I don't really support the protesters, but like you I can certainly understand why they are there.
For the first time since this all began I now believe that the Anthonys may know more than they are saying. I was awake last night and had this case on my mind, I began thinking of how the Anthonys attitude changed since they first called LE. Their grief turned to protecting Casey's lies and their own actions. They now keep telling the public and the media that Caylee is alive.
I began wondering if they were saying that because they do not want people searching for and finding Caylee's body. Caylee's remains must be out there somewhere, if Caylee is alive why haven't the grandparents been involved in searching every lead about sightings regarding their granddaugher. The money they spent bonding Casey out of jail could have gone into their search for Caylee. If Caylee was found alive, Casey would be innocent. This makes me believe that the Anthonys do know that Casey is no longer with us.
Instead of looking for Caylee the Anthonys are protecting Casey and getting angry at everyone, trying to convince the public that Caylee is not dead but alive. It is as though they do not want their family secret to be found out. Why did the Anthonys bond Casey out of jail? Is it easier to go over Casey's story and make the public believe it if they are together in the house. In jail their conversations were recorded. At home they can write notes to each other. Casey can then bring all of these notes to her attorney's office, which is why she is with him everyday.
I believe most people on here agree that the Anthonys actions are very difficult to understand. No matter how much they are grieving, most people that have nothing to hide would be going out of their way to find their child or grandchild if they did not know where they were. I believe the Anthonys do know what has happened to Caylee, they have actually accepted that she is not coming home, and now want to protect Casey and themselves from letting anyone know what happened. They are not helping LE, are getting angry at the media and the public. They need to appear as the grieving grandparents, if they get sympathy people will not believe they might actually know what happened to Caylee.
This is JMO, but the more I think about the Anthonys actions and words over these pass few weeks I have come to conclusion that they are covering up what they know, which is also why I believe they now have an attorney, to protect themselves when and if the truth ever comes out.
I am so afraid Casey and her family are going to get away with everything. The Anthonys are concentrating on defending their actions and Casey's, and by making people believe that little Caylee is alive is their way of defending whatever really happened to that adorable little girl. If the public doesn't find out the truth, if the Anthonys talk against the FBI, LE, the media, Tim Miller, etc. when and if they are actually charged, they are hoping that everyone will think they are the victims, not little Caylee.

Regardless of whether they smelled of smoke (or whatever) if they didn't want them, they could have donated them in Caylee's name to a home or a hospital. A little dish soap and water on a sponge would have taken care of any smell.
Those people are so inherently selfish it's amazing.

I didn't notice that so much as, I can't get beyond the fact that LE has allowed her to BE AWAY FROM HOME, 6 hrs per day 'with her attorney'. There is no way, imho, that she is spending 6 hrs per day consulting this case with her attorney. I believe its an excuse for her to not be under the thumb of her parents. After all, she has lied about everything, and everything allegedly that comes out of her mouth is a lie, so exactly what could Baez possible be researching on her case? How to prove she's not a liar and a thief, imho? Other than the 3 other Anthony's, who would possibly come forward and attest to her being anything but a 'party girl'? A reminder? IMO, looking at their daughter's face everyday, walking pass Caylee's room, seeing the sandbox and playhouse in the back yard everyday is a reminder.
I don't have a problem with the Anthony's not keeping the toys sent. I have a problem with they threw them in the garbage.

How about a battered woman's shelter? The majority of their residents arrive with the clothes on their back. Has to be pretty scary for little ones. I am sure a stuffed animal would have brightened their little days.

09-09-2008, 02:11 PM
Hi Pebbles,
Great post. I think many of us here share your fear that the longer this goes on, the more chance Casey and her family will have to walk away from what they've done to their precious daughter and granddaughter.
I'm not of the belief that C & G did anything to Caylee. I do believe, though, that once the initial, momentary shock wore off -- once they realized that indeed, their monster of a daughter did something horrible to Caylee -- they went into cover up mode. Covering up not just to save Casey, but to save what they misguidedly believe is their portrayal of an admirable family unit.
I think they've spent the majority of Casey's life covering up for her and thereby enabling her, rather than dealing with her in ways that might have controlled the most horrific of her personality traits. I doubt that they ever consciously believed she'd be capable of something like this, but when it became apparent to them that Caylee was gone and Casey was the last one in charge of her, all their greatest fears came to fruition.
But because they have such shallowness in their own lives -- instead of dealing with the situation head-on and taking the consequences for the evil they've been a party to, they did the usual, which is to cover up for and further enable Casey.
It's a horrifying thing to watch unfold, day in and day out, for those of us with normal responses, a commitment to the truth, and a willingness to take responsibility for our actions. To think thousands of searchers have been out looking for that baby's remains, while the Anthonys sit in their air conditioned home with the knowledge of exactly where the child is, is almost too much to contemplate. It's horrifying, frustrating, angering -- just so many emotions are evoked watching this awful group play out their criminal family dynamics on the public stage, at the expense of that precious baby girl.
My hope is that LE, the FBI, and the state of Florida are just as horrified and angered as so many of us are and will do everything in their power to bring Casey to justice, as well as any other members of her family who have helped her hide the truth about what happened to Caylee.
Hi SayWHAT,
You said what I was not able to express in my post and said it perfectly!
I do hope this is not another case of someone getting away with murder, especially when it involves an innocent child that had a lifetime ahead of her. Caylee is the victim, not Casey, not the Anthonys.

Casey isn't going there to work, she is supposed to be working with Baez on the case. Under the table or otherwise, working is NOT supposed to be her reason for being there. I truly doubt that is what is going on. Consider the rate of pay per hour for attorney, vs. what a little dusting and vacuuming in his office would cost, if that's what you picture her doing. She is there for recreation, IMO.
As far as that woman who picked up the bag of trash this morning, I'm really disappointed. I am sure LE has already thought of this, and how does she know that they weren't getting the trash already, in a more discreet manner? As far as a chain of evidence goes, if she does find anything, the chain would probably be considered corrupted already, IMO.

I always put a personal message in a card, but I've never bothered to buy a card for someone I can't stand.
Of course, it takes all kinds to make a world, and I'm sure some people wrote negative letters to them.
It doesn't require a card for that though. I'd think most of the cards were from people who feel bad for the GP's. Who knows?
I couldn't have said it better.

Green light means you're on IS boards somewhere. The red light is only visible to you and it means you are "invisible" - in other words, no one else knows if you are on the boards or not. Your name doesn't show up on the main page as being on the boards and your "light" is "dark" to everyone else.

If its true Casey spent fdn at TonE's - then Cindy lied when she said that Casey and Caylee were asleep the a.m. of the 16th in Casey's room and George lied about them coming out ready to 'go to work' and the babysitter. Was Clint confused and really meant Saturday night, not Sunday night? (Or to be generous - G & C were mistaken)

The red light is when your nic is "hidden" as to your online status and only you see the red light. To the rest of us, your light is grey.
The green light is when the person's nic is disclosed and you can see they are online. Everyone sees the green light.

One reason for her long daily visits is her freedom to use Baez's phone and computers and not have them able to be traced, under atty/client privilege. So - she can keep up her daily life style. oh yes, i agree they know darn well they are no kidnappers that is why

Exactly right. But I prefer the shorter pages, myself. :)
What really love is the ability to click on the arrow next to the person's nic who is quoted and you go directly to their original quote - no need to hunt through pages and pages anymore!
:) How do I go about finding posts that are in response to posts I have made?

i thought with all the hoopla about identity theft, most people have personal shredders at home? i've had one for about 6 years now...
maybe a persoanl shredder will be the next purchase by the anthony family
I thought so to AR..but we both know that the Anthony's aren't the normal family. And besides...according to Cindy her identity has already been stolen so she hasn't got much to lose?! ..jmo

Me, too. Last night on Nancy Grace one of the TH said that the protesters are like the crowd in a Greek tragedy - the crowd that speaks the truth.

Hadn't thought about it that way. Never had a missing child that I thought has been kidnapped. Good thinking.

All kinds have posters have diagnosed the entire Anthony family without personally meeting or knowing them. This woman is fair game although I really want the details from that yellow note.
Ahh, but we've watched the Anthonys for several weeks now. Lorraine has only been on the scene once.
(We have to get the link to her blog for more details.)

I guess Casey is the only case JB is taking. Can't see any other clients if he is with Casey all day. They are alone in his office, correct?
Gee, I wonder how JB is getting paid for his services?I wonder what would happen if so'meone walked into his office off the street to request an appointment for a consultation? Do you think he keeps everything locked up tight while Casey is there to keep snoops out?
I can't see how he could take on any new clients under these circumstances. I hope he has a nice nest egg as he is supposedly?/apparently? doing Caseys legal representation Pro Bono. This could be a loonnng trial and he does have a family.
Not my business, I know..as a parent, money and providing for my children always comes to mind for me.

You can diagnose that she has a mental problem from photographs? Have you ever met Lorraine? Face to face? Or did you only see the photos?
Based on the various diagnosis' of the Anthony's based on media reports and pics I'd say that video and photos are all that's needed to diagnose this woman's mental disorder. Trashophobia.

I know I kept every card and letter I received, I couldn't sit and read them for a very long time though.
Eventually, I had some of the little foster children create new cards out of them to take to our local Nursing home. I wouldn't have just thrown the physical representation of the love and caring of others into the trash.
Cindy does seem very tidy though, maybe she is just very different from me about sentiment and can't stand clutter.
JMO.
I thought when Cindy did the interview with GVS, her table looked cluttered to me, IIRC

Never thought of that.
I give her lawyer more credit than that. I doubt there is any hankey pankey going on. If casey is brought up on charges and loses, the first thing she would do is spill the beans and try and get a new trial based on misconduct and im sure baez would be disbarred and he would not jepordize his career on some piece of trash he has no respect for in the first place. however on the bright side, if they did do something and she reports it...who would believe her..she is a proven liar. IMO

Oh, that makes sense. Do you think they can send the webcam ? I mean I want to make an accurate diagnosis. :)
i dont blame her one little bit. I cannot believe those cards and stuff that are in the trash. So callous so heartless, all I can say is wow; and I hope that they did find her body; maybe we will know in a few more days. Too much. I think more of their garbage should be gone over with a fine tooth comb. How about their attic too? Crawl space; basement whatever. All of it. LE cant move fast enough on a warrant for cause at this point for me :cuss:
People often throw things away that remind them of the deceased.
I can't understand it. My husband passed away and I cannot bear to remove his things.
Maybe they want to pretend she never existed.
