Caught a quick blurb this afternoon on a news station.
Reporting on the start of OJ's trial tomorrow (Monday).
Since this will be jury selection, I wouldn't expect video except him arriving at court.
They also reported that OJ was stopped by the cops today as a citizen called in a possible DUI. They pulled him over to check and unfounded. Released.

How long will it take for them to pick a jury do you think? Also heard the judge refused to put on the questionnaire "do you think he's a murderer?" Something to that effect.

jay leno made a joke during his monologue the other night in which he referred to sydney bloodying his head....i don't remember hearing anything about this, does anyone else? tiaLike they dont have enough on there plate they need this to. If you ask me these people just want to get their names in the news. They are no better them some of the poor performances of the Anthonys. It is so petty and this is not helping caylee in the least bit

Imagine trying to find an 'impartial' jury?! I wonder if the trial will have to be relocated to some out of the way frontier town in Nevada to find 'that' jury?!
Heard that Judge Jackie Glass will be no Etto (sp?). Glass has a cruise planned in October and will not stand for delays!

OJ ain't looking so hot in the courtroom if you ask me. That's one ugly-azz mug.
I am surprised that they are covering jury selection so heavily....I mean, you can't show the jurors so how much can they be showing???

I do hope the defense attorney ask each juror if they read or post on any crime board or boards. Get it on record.

wow no one has watched the pretrial online or TV in this jury pool
you know, i could really believe that.....out of all the ppl i know, family, friends, coworkers (before i retired) neighbors, other softball parents....absolutely no one gives a hoot about oj or Caylee or Stacy or spector or courtrooms......they vaguely know about Caylee, barely remember hearing about Stacy, oj is a joke....they think i'm weird probably because i am fascinated by the whole process i guess...just my little 2 cents...i'm looking forward to this oj trial.....i'm sure it will last 10 times longer than it should....

that 16 jurors were 'released' yesterday and no one was seated.
LOL! Judge Jackie Glass, already appears to be showing the stress of the looks like going no where process of finding those impartial juors as she read the riot act to those in attendance that wanted to be prospective jurors, 'If you're here because you want to punish Mr. Simpson for what happened in LA in 1995.......' Judge Glass looked and sounded rather exasperated.
This might be more difficult than Judge Glass expected?

A big good luck to Judge Glass.

Let's thank our lucky stars that Halverson is off the bench. Could you imagine if she had this trial???

on the no nonsense Judge Glass....Yes, she looks like the right candidate for the job, but my crystal ball is showing me her cruise is geting further and further away.....I certainly hope not...and, too, wish her all the luck and best wishes in the upcoming trial...if an impartial jury can be seated....I think the only real chance of finding that kind of jury is that distant Nevada ghost town we've all heard about.....LOL!

From what I've heard it was his oldest daughter Ardell from his first marriage that popped him upside his head. They were all at a party.OJ's girlfriend was drunk as usual and started bragging about all the money OJ spends on her. she and Ardell got into an argument and OJ took up for the girlfriend. Ardell and OJ got into a shoving match. OJ fell and busted his head on a rock. Much blood.

I don't know about the rest of you but I am so tired of OJ's smirking face and hand waving/like he is the cat's meow//I think he's more like the cat's HAIRBALL//He steps out of cars like he is on the red carpet.
First of all he is costing the tax payers a lot of money playing cops and robbers. He hid all of that stuff. If it was so dear to him(family pictures) why didn't he remember where they were. Even a squirrel could find his nuts. He makes me sick the way they caught him on camera walking through the casino like he was such a big deal. How could people fall for his act. He is a broken down old football player who dyes his hair and walks with a limp. Give me a break!! An old hasbeen who was found not guilty of killing his children's mother but not found innocent. He acts like everyone is his greatest pal--I wouldn't cross the street to meet that poor excuse for a human being. Well that's all I have to say FOR NOW!!!

I've gotten to the point that I can't look at him anymore. I'm not watching the trial. He doesn't deserve the attention he gets. I'll find out about the verdict when it is announced.
If he's found guilty, they'll put him in prison where he belongs. If he is acquited (again), we'll wait for his next brush with the law - which we know will happen.

OJ certainly has no respect for the law. Another celebrity who suspected others of stealing memorabilia might have called police and attempted to regain the property. In OJ's case, he owes more than $33 million plus interest since the civil trial to the Goldmans. I don't recall if the Browns were plaintiffs in the civil trial but it's all the same for OJ. That's why he decided to do this himself. He knew that the Goldmans could have taken the property and sold it under their judgment if he went to the police.
It will be very difficult for the court in Las Vegas to get a jury that hasn't got some feelings about OJ one way or the other. Who could honestly be impartial about him after watching both trials?
It will be interesting, for sure.
I think I could be impartial. Although I think he was guilty on the murders, this is an animal of a different stripe.
It's a matter of fact that the jury has to listen to the evidence and apply the law. None of which has anything to do with the 1990's. I think I could do that.
However, just knowing what I know about this case, the items were not OJ's, and I find there is an impelling case against him.

I think we can all see what is going to happen here. Mr.Galanter is going to beat-up all these shady characters when they take the stand. Big deal
I won't be impressed. Too bad the biggest loser in the courtroom will be his bloated looking client who loves himself more than anything on earth. You see he draws all these losers because he is the biggest one. I don't think this case is about nothing. Would you go into someones room in a hotel with guns to get a couple of signed footballs and pictures? I think not. This man thinks he's above the law.
The only reason I am going to watch this is because I am loyal to In Session and wherever they go I go.

They will never seat an impartial jury, it will be full of stealth jurors with agendas, some will see it as a route to fame and fortune, they will wtire books saying I convicted OJ, they will be all over the talkshows peddling there jury service
some will want to make him pay for killing Nicole and Ron, I don't see many trying to get on to aquit him
it imo will be a very loaded biased jury against OJ, that is so obvious from voir dire, I have sat open mouthed as juror after juror has heard little or nothing about the case, I live in England and it is in my TV news and in my newspapers, so I am sure that Las Vegas residents have seen and heard more than me
and I think OJ got away with murder the first time round, and I think he is probably not that nice a man, but he deserves a fair trial this time and it just is not going to happen imo

I worry when a juror says she will ensure financial hardship and be unable to pay her bills if she is on the jury, but she still wants to be on it
I wonder if she is looking for the payment after the trial from selling her I am an OJ juror story,
they should be careful of jurors like this, as we all know most of them will be considering the post trial rewards,

It truly is a jury of their choosing not a jury of peers. The system is broken; to me.
Dots
i recently finished a year on the grand jury and i really liked the way they did it.....there were 23 of us but we just needed a majority...that way no one juror had absolute power like they do in the petit jury...imo
Read in a local newspaper that the jury pool is down to 40 finalists so guess they have made some headway.

It's really too bad he didn't try to do something good with his life. God gave him a huge chance to get out there and turn himself into something good. WHAT MUST HIS CHILDREN THINK?
I feel sorry for these people sitting in that jury pool. It is not fun sitting around for hours with nothing to do. I'm just so disgusted with him. He could have helped some black children find their way. Some of these kids need so much help!! What is wrong with this man???
