That looks like it's a camera or microphone stand, or more probably, a stand for one of their floodlights for the web cam. It's going to be getting dark there soon, and they need lights so the web cam can pick up the action.

Law enforcement directed searchers to review a 25-square-mile search area near the Orlando International Airport, but the head of the searchers deemed much of the area too far under water, WESH 2's Bob Kealing reported. Orange County Sheriff Kevin Beary directed a message to Casey Anthony, the woman who he said may have the missing part to the puzzle: "If she's got information, it's best to come clean with it. You would think that even if casey has been advised to speak out, even as it would be near impossible for her to appear in public, and even despite the fact that none of them are talking for free now; that she could work with Baez to make a taped plea for broadcast to the kidnappers to keep Caylee safe and to please return her.
I can't see one reason that would not be done if this were a real abduction, even a "family" abduction. Of course, IMO that is not being done for exactly the same reason they aren't searching or aiding searches, and the same reason a PI has not been brought in...because it is a waste of time and $ to search for something which you had not lost. Casey doesn't HAVE to "win" in the court of public opinion, it would help but it isn't necessary (nor do I think she cares). I'd bet they are hoarding their resources for a "win" in court. that battle that will be their only chance to save the only remaining girl in the family.

It seems unlikely. There have been no news items about searches finding remains (which would not be able to be identified until labs test the DNA), and there has been an item about TES suspending the search until there are drier conditions.

I would hope that anyone in those waters who are searching are wearing hip boots and waders all the way up to the chest area. I certainly would. Also snakes especially cottonmouth moccasins love these swampy areas where water is holding. They need to wear thick boots at least in case one strikes that they didn't see.

she asked Ryan Pasley and it was confirmed by him that Casey never worked at Sports Authority with him. Cindy actually told him she stole from her own grandmother and from her.

She called Casey a sociopath and told Ryan not to talk to Casey anymore. "she asked me about some lies that she had suspected Casey of telling".

Cindy already knew what her daughter was doing: lying and stealing.

if she could steal from her own grandmother, she is capable of financially assaulting anyone who comes in her path.

known victim: Ryan P- who was conned: he gave her $400 back when he worked at Sports Authority *she hung out there* (she needed rent money she told him...although she lived with her parents)

its pretty safe to say she lifted alot more from unsuspecting patrons of Fusion and anywhere else she hung out.....primarily other people' s apartments/homes.

I hate to say it, but I feel it is unlikely too. A few hours have passed since the search was suspended...surely one news agency would have figured it out if their had been a body. Call me skeptical, I hope I'm wrong.

Caylee is not the only missing person in FL.

I bet there were at least a half dozen bodies found in scrub brush/swamps during the first year I was following Trenton's case.

If anything was discovered today, they are going to try to keep it as quiet as possible until the bones can be identified.

Isn't this a strange vigil, though? The two people holding it are praying that their daughter will walk in the door and the rest are most likely that the searchers will find her body.
