I did have a prob with that too, but, since the car was abandoned for a couple of days it's something LE has to consider.
Defense can always say...someone else had something to do with that car....after she was picked up by Tony.
Unforturtunate (sp?) but true.
Altho, if they have any surveilence tapes of that parking lot showing no one other than Casey near that car, that would be huge for LE. I'm thinking there are no tapes and they need something more to hang on her....like Caylee's remains.
That could be the only thing hanging them from bringing charges, no surveilence tapes to prove Casey was the last one to have anything to do with that car before it was towed.

They need to break up that slab and look there, IMO. The sooner - the better. I hope that Caylee is buried there because if someone (IE- Casey, George and/or Cindy) did put her under the concrete --- they'd be hard pressed to be able to dig her out now & hide her somewhere else.
If she is buried there, I hope the Anthony's watched Geraldo in fear.. realizing they are about to be found out.
And if she is under the concrete, I expect other people charged in this case.. in addition to Casey.

I followed the mail thing closely because I couldn't figure out why the car was in impound for so long.
I imagine the impound yard only sends one registered letter. The post office will leave 3 notices - if it's not picked up within 15 days of the post office receiving the letter, it is sent back to the sender.
C/G, it seems, picked it up just before it was sent back to the towyard.
I think they had contact with Casey too. Cindy was probably :cuss: and called when she read the letter. IMO she would have called Casey to rant. I think this is when Casey would have said something about the gas. G's conversation with the towman left the impression Caylee was missing - not Casey.

Highly doubt that Caylee is still buried in the backyard. They dug that up pretty well more than once. Do cadaver dogs hit on urine? I know this was discussed already but can't remember the answer. When my kids were smaller, once in awhile they would run around in the backyard without any clothes on. Especially getting in and out of a pool. Maybe she had pee peed in the backyard or in the playhouse? imo [/*]
Cadaver dogs would be about useless if they hit on feces, urine, bandages, diapers, bloody tissues. No.

If she is buried there, I hope the Anthony's watched Geraldo in fear.. realizing they are about to be found out.
And if she is under the concrete, I expect other people charged in this case.. in addition to Casey. [/*]

In addition, I know we went over this earlier but perhaps the chloroform was used to degrade any DNA evidence left behind in the trunk of the car.
George is former LE -- I wonder if that's where all these curious things are coming from.

I was just thinking about that possibility when reading the talk about the slabs. The most common theory I've seen is that whatever happened to Caylee happened there at the house and then Casey probably put her in the trunk the day she borrowed the shovel and took Caylee somewhere else.
What if though..whatever happened to Caylee, happened elsewhere then Casey placed her in the trunk, kept her there and then took her to the house on the day she borrowed the shovel.
She did say in one phone call she felt Caylee was close to home..
Just a theory to throw out there.

Since her car was backed in, maybe she was bringing Caylee in, not out?
I still wonder about the backyard because when Greta was interviewing her, Cindy mentioned that George had moved a plant that got too big. I wondered if she was nervous about the yard looking as though there had been some digging.

According to the handler, an item was requested from the family but they have allegedly refused to provide one. [/*]
OMG, that is truly sickening. This family is beyond words.:cuss:

Maybe the sentence should have been more specific, ie decomposing flesh and decomposing blood.
On a side note, sharks can hear red blood cells burst - why it's better to use 'fresh' blood than previously frozen blood to attract them. (just pointing out that sharks can differentiate blood, I have no doubt that dogs can as well)

Dogs, are the reason I don't think that Caylee was in that backyard for long.
No matter what they are trained, or not trained for, they all have a keen sense of smell and know their own 'turf'. The family dogs would have been sniffing, barking, digging, acting a bit strange, something that would have clued Casey in that the spot wasn't good.

Ok there is blood here in my house I am sure. My dad cut his arm a few months back and came up on my deck bleeding everywhere. Then into my house. I cleaned it up with bleach. but I am sure it is still there. It was bad and he had to have 34 stitches.
Then one time my boxer, Dallas cut his tongue on a soup can he got out of the trash. I couldn't get the bleeding stopped. So the vet came down that evening and sure enough he had cut an artery in his tongue. So she gave him a shot to put him out so she could sew him up. and he threw up all over my kitchen floor. It was pure blood from where he had swallowed so much. I also cleaned this up with bleach.
The difference here is I have the medical records from the hospital for my dad and the vet for Dallas to back this up if for some reason LE would question the blood in my house.
Wouldn't George have had to bleed alot for the dogs to hit? Where are the medical records?

dont know what this has to do with anything-these arent the dogs that were used in this case--and from the very link you posted
But they cannot simply be called cadaver dogs. Some are trained solely to locate decomposed human tissue, blood and bones for disaster- and crime-scene investigations.
A cadaver dog is trained to "alert" on rotting flesh and blood.

"She's a remarkable young woman in the sense that ... the best way I could describe her is she's a steel magnolia," said Michael Walsh, a member of her defense team. "No matter what anybody thinks, Casey Anthony is adamant. She did no harm to her daughter. She believes her daughter is alive. She believes her daughter's going to be found alive and well."

I wonder if Casey herself didn't deny her own pregnancy, as she allegedly denied it to her family. She seems to have had a lot of free time to party, not that she was under house rule...one would think that if she didn't want the child she would consider an alternative and no one would be the wiser. Just another plan to get rid of something in her way. Her parents needn't even know she had taken care of the situation, as it was reported that Cindy wouldn't allow her to terminate. Well, if Cindy didn't find out until the 7th month...of course she wouldn't. But at 8 weeks Casey could have. Perhaps she, too, was in denial, even then.

What if though..whatever happened to Caylee, happened elsewhere then Casey placed her in the trunk, kept her there and then took her to the house on the day she borrowed the shovel.
She did say in one phone call she felt Caylee was close to home..
Just a theory to throw out there. [/*]
Yay Duckaroo! I've been thinking the same thing. She may have thought she would/could bury her in the backyard. Then when she was trying to do that, found she couldn't and then put her back into the trunk and took her somewhere else.
Please Tim find her.
I'm of the camp that feels it didn't happen at the house. But that she went back to her comfort zone to bury Caylee. Maybe even in a sick, twisted way thinking she was doing the right thing, burying Caylee at home....close. Maybe in her mind by her trying that she meant Caylee was close because she'd tried to have her at home. Oh, my, my head is aching from trying to explain this and think it out. Too twisted and sick for me, but I think of so many convicted murderers and their sick and twisted reasons for how and why they disposed of their victims and can almost...I'm saying almost....see why Casey might say this.

Does anyone remember an interview with Cindy, she was outside of her house, it was very early on and she was speaking about how she went to a park that Casey would take Caylee to, she felt at peace there seeing all the children playing and she was able to listen to all of her voice mails, she said she felt good, that she felt like she was 'doing something'? I am trying to find that clip. It has always bothered me, she did not say she looked for Caylee, or handed out fliers or showed people Caylee's picture asking if ANYONE had seen her or anything. She said she felt peace...that has always disturbed me. Does anyone remember? I will look bright and early in the a.m. for a link....it is very possible though that I am simply going crazy.

I would bet my house and my next door neighbors house that she said that, though I suppose till I can locate a link to back it up with it doesn't mean all that much so that is my project for the morning:) I would have been l know everyone is different but I could not imagine feeling any sense of peace ANYWHERE while my grandbaby was missing...I would be going out of my mind thinking every child was her, showing her picture to everyone, thinking about how she should be there playing on the swing...but peace...NEVER!

Right about the decomp. I almost had to laugh on one of Cindy's interviews where she corrects the host and says only one dog hit. Isn't that bad enough? Even if only one CADAVER dog hit? I believe both did but you know Cindy. I know a cadaver dog would not find human decomp in or around my home.

I believe so, on NG the sample in the container she had was just a cloth that had been in contact with a dead body.

I think it is possible that when George opened the trunk of that car he found the gas cans and Caylee. At one point early on, Casey told Lee she thought Caylee was nearby.
