No surprise if a gun was found in the wheel well. Common place to hide one. What I'm really interested in is if there was indeed, a teddybear hidden in the wheel well. Has any news channels confirmed this information?

:) [/*]I do too. I'm an equal opportunity thread starter. It's late morning on the west coast this time, but I find it disconcerting to see a thread labeled afternoon thread when it's only 9:00 a.m.
I saw that there was another thread started and I tried to delete but because there was already a 2nd post here, it wouldn't let me delete it.

How do ya'll feel about the protesters outside the Anthony home?
I really think that those who have the time and are local and who are concerned about Caylee should be helping out Tim Miller, and not making nuisances of themselves in the neighborhood. The video I saw on Nancy Grace doesn't make them appear to be concerned - just like partying monkeys.
It's also very telling that the police aren't dispersing them. If this were a party, and they were out there just chatting away all day and night, neighbors would be able to call the cops and they would come and tell them to quiet down, you're creating a disturbance. The fact that they are not helping now is very telling.
I just feel sorry for the neighborhood. Some respect might be nice. [/*]
I think some are genuine protestors and the rest are rowdy teens and people who want to get on tv. Since there's not much the neighbors can do, they might as well make the best of a bad situation. I'd be out there selling them bottled water at $3 a pop.

Also, early Saturday morning, a source close to the investigation said deputies removed a weapon from the trunk of a car belonging to Casey' father, George Anthony. Such a discovery on the Anthony property could have imperiled Casey Anthony's release from jail, but a spokesman for Orange County Corrections said that a judge ruled that Casey presumably had nothing to do with the weapon.

I did. It was basically home videos and a recap of the show.
More interesting was Greta. Padilla said that Casey told him that Zanny the Nanny and her older sister Samantha pinned her to the ground and gave her a "script" to tell the police for the next 30 days. She said they threatened the life of Caylee.
Looking (but can't find) for the transcript.

Others like me say no way.
IMO, LE found out about that gun on their own, with NO help from the Anthonys.

I don't know if there's an official version of the Sister Sam story, however, in the 400 page doc drop...look at Lee's email to Yuri (I believe). He goes into very specific detail that he was told by his parents in reference to Zanaida. Her mother's name, her father's name who bought her the Ford Focus, her sister Samantha.....
Like who purchased the kidnapper's car is always just on the tip of your tongue like that.....

If George called the LE about the gun why didn't he do that the first time Casey got out of jail ?
Also considering he knew she was getting out since he and Cindy signed a promisary note for the bond I would think he would have handed it over then or to the lawyer ....or anyone for that matter before she came back to the house.
Unless he has a carry permit it is against the law to have a concealed weapon .
At least I am pretty sure it works that way ....does anyone know the Florida statue on weapons?

I guess what I'm saying is, did the tipster say there was a gun in the house or there's a gun in the spare tire well. If the spare tire well, then it's someone very, very "close."

I don't see Casey doing much cleaning, imo.
If chloroform was present in the trunk at the tow yard, then the flies and maggots would not have survived..it could have been used as a cleaner after Anthonys got it back. [/*]The flies were mentioned at the tow yard. The guy threw the bag with the maggots over the fence near the dumpster. Last night it was explained on NG that Chloroform is heavier than air, so it would be at the bottom of the trunk. The flies could survive, in that case. The flies would no longer be in the trunk when LE got it, imo. The flew out when the trunk was opened, imo.
I'm tired of this. Let me know if the searchers find Caylee. :seeya:
There is a video at the Orlando Sentinel that was interesting.
Some of those protestors are "neighbors" of the Anthony's. I listened to one guy talk to the media and he is tired of Casey and the fact that she is out on bond. She has created the circus by not talking.
I have no idea what is going on inside that house but I hope the grandparents are pushing Casey to tell them where Caylee is. My gosh, that sweet little girl should have a proper burial.
I hope the state is building a good case against her because now I am really angry. It does seem Caylee is being forgotten by these people. The whole thing is sickening.

I do have to wonder why the Judge didn't call George and Cindy in for a word.
Even if he thinks Casey didn't know about the gun, C & G did, and they also knew that part of the agreement they signed stated that there were to be no weapons in the house.
It was their responsibility to prepare the house. They violated that agreement. I would think they would at least get told they had gotten their one break.

And you make an excellent point, if chloroform acts as bleach in the sense that it destroys colored fabric there would have been an enormous amount of evidence to suggest. Thanks for making that point. Now we can assume the chloroform was used as I suspect it was, to knock someone out.

I think the protestors are interfering in a tricky game of cat and mouse between LE and the Anthony family. Not a smart thing to do in a case like this imo. [/*]
I totally agree with the last part. They're only getting in the way no matter how noble their position is or isn't, imo.

I only can think that because they got the tip after midnight? I don't think they did make it a big deal. If they wanted to, they could have waited til morning when cameras were on and people around.

Still in all, it doesn't explain actual chloroform in the trunk. [/*]
I looked that up as well, and there is indeed a band called Chloroform.
I would think however that whatever links Casey clicked on would be telling as to what she was actually looking for, a band or the chemical agent itself. Also, if she bought chlororform online, LE would know that as well imo.

If other members of this online community wish to help them with their expenses for getting to the search I say hurray. They search for that baby on all our behalf. If chloroform was present in the trunk at the tow yard, then the flies and maggots would not have survived..it could have been used as a cleaner after Anthonys got it back. [/*]
good point.
however, do we have anyone else aside from cindy/george claiming there were maggots in the trunk? i know that dirt samples were taken from the trunck, along with many other samples, but have not heard LE mention maggots, which could be used towards TOD.
i thing maggots is a very common word in cindy's vocabulary.

No other board will have posters like this. They get booted off.

You're wrong, read the posts.
There's a very simple link for direct deposits to the TES foundation, no one has to hand-carry donations to him.
joolz is asking for money on this board for other poster's personal use - and joolz has made it perfectly clear that it's not being given to TES. [/*]
My mistake then, I apologize.
However I am correct that the posters offered money and so a way was found for them to give.
They were not solicited. Joolz has the contact information, that's why she posts reminders.
I know that TES has a donation site. Many posters have wanted to contribute and several were having problems going through their site to do so.
I think it's probably been quite busy lately. I do recall that one poster did find an alternate address that worked.

Ok, so who all is home? Does anyone know?
