It appears as though the Anthony's put their house on collateral for the bond for Casey...jmo...as per NG.
Out in front of Anthony home. Baez is still there. Protesters still there. Police are there to keep things under control. Protesters say they will search in the morning and be back at the Anthony home when searching hours are over.
Why is Casey out of jail wonders NG? Let out said DE because of Constitutional rights. That there may have been someone else involved.
Caller is wondering about the Anthony home perhaps being used as collateral and how Casey kept bragging that the home would be hers at some point.
Premeditation can be formed at any time...
DE thinks that maybe the chloroform was used for clean up. NG thinks that this search for chloroform by Casey was more than just for a premeditated clean up.

I am still sickened that the Judge did not appoint a guardian for Caylee. It makes sense to me since her mother is charged with neglect. Who is in charge of the Caylee Trust Fund people donated to? Also this am I believe the (child abuse) team met with CA regarding abuse filings, Who is standing up for Caylee's rights. Another poster said there would be no Guardian Ad Liam, why not?

I still have yet to hear any direct explanation of what Constitutional rights of Caseys have been violated. She was bonded within the rights of the law according to the charges she faces. When bond was posted, she got out ( both times, and with little delay), she seems to have been treated decently in jail.
I don't get where any right has been violated. I have heard some squawk that her bond was too high for the charges, but as it is within the legal limits how can that be? Can someone be MORE negligent than outright "losing" their child and not reporting it for 30 days?...a child who is STILL missing over two months in...I can see many circumstances of negligence being less drastic, but not any greater.
I'd really like an explanation of the rights violation. Please K.I.S.S. for the benefit of the simple (me) and the busy.
TY in advance!

How much does Casey truly need to talk to this guy? maybe we are coming up with a plausible excuse for the chloroform and searches for it on the computer. Casey is a pool cleaner...Casey uses it to develope film...Casey is just interested in the chemical breakdown of chloroform for no reason in particular. Or she is a clone. the real Casey is out there with Caylee and Juliette and Tom Manley and jeff hopkins and ofcourse the lady of the moment Zanny. Geez. One can only suspend disbelief so far..before it looks like a unicorn. [/*]
Maybe tehy are preparing for the movie deal that was talked about. This whole thing is really getting under my skin..
First Drew Peterson walks because there is no body and this (&^%#$@$) is going to walk because they can not find a body...This really sends a message out to all the murderers. If this half wit (Casey) can get away with murder, you can just imagine what other murderers will do.

Some of us thought she cut him up - because it was HER luggage and was 'skillfully' done. Someone w/o medical training would probably had done a real amatuerish job. But, its in the past - she's where she belongs. But you know what is similar in these two cases - did you see the 'self' videos Melanie did of herself during the trial? Narcississtic, vain, totally devoid of emotion. Is that a sociopathic thing? Because Casey displays it as well. Its like --ok - time for a manicure, time to talk with my BF. Just no sense of reality.

I caught the tail end. Something about a fight between protesters and supporters. Then Leonard told Nancy's viewers that he believes that Casey told Lee what happened and then Lee told Cindy. This was after the lab report came back. Leonard also believes that no one told George and he was left out of the loop as usual.
Again, Leonard was guessing.

The guy on the phone with NG said the trunk would be air tight, and does that mean the chloroform wasn't released until the trunk was aired? He said there wouldn't be any oxygen in the BOTTOM of the trunk, where the chloroform rag would be.
Geeze, I think this question needs answering. imo [/*]
Thanks for looking at that -
My G'pa used to kill hornets with chloroform and would put it on their nests. My G'pa said it even killed the eggs. I don't know if this is true - but it makes me think no flies would have developed in a trunk with significant levels of chloroform
It seems most are assuming the chloroform was in the trunk when it was abandoned - I think it was put there after G picked it up. IMO

1) No they don't have enough and that's why they haven't slapped her with murder charges yet.

No, I don't think thay have enough evidence and that is why they keep throwing things out there in hope that Casey will confess. IF, they had any real evidence they would have made the arrest already. Just like in the Drew Peterson case, they kept saying what they had and they never made an arrest. It's rediculous that with just her lying and her child missing for so long should, in my eyes, be enough. But it's not...
And, as someone just said on the Nancy Grace show. Why arent the Anthony's joining in the search for Caylee? could it be they already know the truth? I would never give up the search if I truly believed my daughter...I guess Caylee will just be forgotten about and never receive a proper burial....Sad, sad, sad

Earlier in this case, many of us were assuming Casey was drugging Caylee with xanax. If that was taking xanax away from their highs (I don't know that, it seems it would just put people asleep), then maybe they would use chloroform.
But if she used that regularly, would it cause burns like said earlier?

I'm not a fan of the protestig by a long stretch ( it's a waste and rude to boot IMO), but couldn't the police or someone step in and advise them that they MAY not want to be seen on Television carting their kids around in a screaming brawl?
It's just horrid, poor babies!
I do get that people are all worked up, but there is a time and a place for adult issues seperate from the company of children. That is as bad as that poor child who was being chatted up by Casey a week ago. That is one thig keeping me from heading to my FIL's in Florida and helping search...that I would be leaving my teen here, and taking Baby on searches...not the best choice for her IMO. I certainly have a place to stay and the time, but I can't see searching with Bella in the baby Bjorn!

I am a nurse also, I couldn't agree with you more. I even e-mailed Jamie Floyd during the trial. Of course I got no response. I was never taught to cut up a body, a chicken yes, but no body.

Hard to say considering we don't know what else they have. If and I say if, they only have what has been released, it's not enough to go to trial.
That being said, I believe they have a lot more than they're saying but CE is risky. Finding Caylee's body will get a definite conviction.

They can still charge her with murder. I know of a couple of cases where there was a conviction without a body.

I'm terrified they won't find a body for a couple of reasons:
1) Everyone (Cindy, Casey, etc) seem pretty cockly - like perhaps they're not worried about a body being found?
2) Hearing about the conditions in FL, weather, foliage, crocs, etc., it seems highly likely that it might be (dare I say it?) EASY to dispose of a body?
3) She did have at least 31 days to cover her tracks.
4) It seems as though Blanchard park and the "airport" are the only real areas of interest.
Again, I realize that we only have a piece of the puzzle at this point, there could be a lot out there that we don't know and I hope there is. I just can't stand the thought that this princess could walk.

As I was reading the docs, the part about the flies jumped out at me.
If there were significant levels of chloroform in the trunk -
(IMHO) there would be NO FLIES to fly out of the trunk.
My conclusion - the chloroform was introduced to the trunk after G got it home. "chloroform is a cleaning agent" - Cindy.
What do you think? Thanks. [/*]
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Gosh, that's a good question. I know nothing about flies and chloroform.
The guy on the phone with NG said the trunk would be air tight, and does that mean the chloroform wasn't released until the trunk was aired? He said there wouldn't be any oxygen in the BOTTOM of the trunk, where the chloroform rag would be.
Geeze, I think this question needs answering. imo

i still don't think it was a boatload of chloroform in that car, what a forensic lab calls significant amts and what we call significant is different. Nancy grace makes it sound like they found cups of it in there, while in reality it could have been a mg or less. It is only significant in terms of what the word is being used in relation to.
For example significant amount of cyanide .2 grams, enough to kill an average man and a 1/4 gram would also likely be significant if there was nothing else to explain it.
Just remember whenever nancy says "lots" or makes anything sound huge, to take it with a grain of poison.

It seems most are assuming the chloroform was in the trunk when it was abandoned - I think it was put there after G picked it up. IMO [/*]
That is a really good point. How would the flies have survived being in there? Didn't it state in the docs somewhere that when the trunk was opened a bunch of flies flew out? How? Would that mean the chloroform was put in the trunk after it left the impound lot?

I think the problem some people are having is that Casey was bonded out per her right and then when she was arrested again, they thought LP pulled the bond, it was the sureity(sp?)company but who ever it was didn't did it for a good reason. They think they did it because they now think she's guilty and that is not what bond is about. jmo

I still feel quite a bit of sympathy for George, although I think he is "fudging" about the gas cans and the dates he last saw Casey with Caylee. That was me StickyBeak, and I explained it in a post I made about 9:30 this morning on the morning thread. I asked a co-worker of mine, who IS a GAL in Florida, her opinion. First off, an attorney has to request that a GAL be appointed. A judge cannot appoint one on his own. I don't think I addressed that in my post. First off, Caylee is missing and presumed dead for about 11 weeks now I think? I know this will sound harsh, but my friend said that GALs are stretched very, very thin...they are volunteers. They will be appointed first for children who are HERE AND NOW, and needing immediate help. As far as Caylee's rights, she said that the mother has been charged with child neglect already. LE is investigating into Caylee's disappearance and trying to find her. Not sure what more anyone can do at this point, especially a GAL?
I don't know about the trust fund. Is that fact that one was set up that way? Also, I did not hear that a child abuse team met with CA re abuse. Do you have a link for that? I know that DCF (or whatever it's called) was there at the jail, but we don't know for what reason......I hadn't heard for any abuse charges.
The way it was explained to me by this GAL (who, as I said, is a GAL in our state of Florida), the likelihood of one being appointed for Caylee, in this situation, is pretty nil. I can understand all that she told me about this.

I can not think of one instance in this matter where Casey's rights (constitutional or otherwise) have been violated.
1. She was properly arrested and charged. Bail was set pursuant to the Criminal Code.
2. She was warned and told, as is everyone in jail, that their telephone conversations are monitored and taped.
3. She was bailed out of jail and fitted with a monitoring device and pursuant to the Criminal Code, allowed to return to her home with the proper restrictions.
4. She was properly arrested and charged last week with the economic charges. Her lawyer and others were making a big deal over the fact that the cops did not ask him to bring her in, but instead chose to go to the house and arrest her in public. It was their right to do so. They are not required under any kind of code to "make a deal" for an arrest.
5. She was bonded out again, and properly returned home, with the monitoring device again.
6. Any information or evidence released in this case has either been pursuant to the Freedom of Information act or in the interest of public policy and safety. [/*]TY BlackBird!...(like the Song!:) ...I like it!).
I didn't see any violations either, but others were going on at one time about her bond being exhorbitant, but they do have parameters, right? so the judge just chose the amount he wanted within the legal limits...whats wrong with that? She was being an uncooperative Butt! I would have stuck on the highest bond the law allowed just because she was sitting there clammed up like a mushroom fermenting in her own Bee Ess.

1) No they don't have enough and that's why they haven't slapped her with murder charges yet.
2) They're waiting for Baez to make the first move on the speedy trial and in the meantime gathering as much evidence as possible including perhaps finding Caylee's body. [/*]
I don't know. Look how much they had on SP and they still let him wander around. They only took him in when they realized he was ready to skip the country.
I think it's the same in this case. They have "enough evidence", but are in no hurry and if delaying can mean they'll have little Caylee's body, they're willing to wait.

I think that area is being searched due to its proximity to the cell towers which serviced the calls Casey made that day.
I wonder if the "dirt" samples matched the sand from Caylee's sandbox or the Anthonys' backyard?

As Tim Miller said yesterday, based on his record, they have a 9% chance of finding Caylee. He also said that if they did not search they would have a zero % chance of finding her.

i'm starting to be way more suspicious of george and cindy....i know it has been just barely mentioned....but weren't they on a 50th birthday trip in june? i'd be curious to know more about it....and it just makes no sense that casey and Caylee had both been missing for a month.....they pick up their car from impound smelling like a dead body, and without even knowing who's dead body it might have been.....spend 5 hours or so...cleaning up the car and things that were on the inside...and THEN they try to get a hold of casey....doesn't add up at all!
i know i'm not the only person totally confused about this.....their actions do not grieving grandparents make...imo...
and have we ever found out when the searches on the computer were made concerning the chloroform?
one more quick question,,,,anyone read reasonable's posts today and last night....has she been back since her husband came home with more detailed info? it's only 6:30 in california...i even wrote all that down....fascinating...

So what is it? I do think she tends to exaggerate. Secondly, I thought I heard her mention these findings were from BOTH the FBI as well as the Body Farm tests. I never heard that before tonight. I thought the results were only from the FBI.
Sorry but I've caught NG many times in giving out "facts" that were not "fact," so I'm dubious right now. [/*]
Huh. I was all confused because the first day I heard "trace amounts", the next day they said "significant amounts". Later that day I heard "significant trace amounts". I thought that was a huge oxymoron.
I guess it all depends which reporter you're watching at the time.
I think when this gets to trial, and it will, we're going to have a whole lot of surprises and maybe they'll answer some questions we have but I'm not holding my breath on that one. This will be another battle of the forensic experts and by closing statements time, the jurors are going to be pulling their hair out.

Tonite on NG, Horowitz eluded to the fact that chloroform was used to CLEAN the trunk, not in the asphyxiation of Caylee. NG totally dismissed this theory, however, I somewhat tend to agree with him. The reason being: Trichloromethane is also a form of chloroform and is used as an industrial solvent for cleaning grease, oil, stains by breaking down the molecules of any foreign substances and evaporates rather quickly. For instance, spray carburetor cleaner is a form of chloroform. It also explains this in more detail if you google "chloroform".

I thought that, too, regarding the cleanup of the vehicle before the finding of Casey (at least that's how I understand what they did). Why wouldn't they think Casey was missing and perhaps something happened to HER. Why clean up the car, if you can't find your daughter? Wouldn't you think the worst had happened and save the evidence for the police?

It's rediculous that with just her lying and her child missing for so long should, in my eyes, be enough. But it's not...
And, as someone just said on the Nancy Grace show. Why arent the Anthony's joining in the search for Caylee? could it be they already know the truth? I would never give up the search if I truly believed my daughter...I guess Caylee will just be forgotten about and never receive a proper burial....Sad, sad, sad [/*]
Did Drew have the smell of death in his car? Did it test for a dead body being in there? I honestly think they have more evidence in THIS case than Drew's case. I think they're just hanging back to try to find Caylee's body. They have more than just Casey's lies.

I'm still perplexed that this, of all things, has been found in this case. Who thinks of this unless you just watched a movie where a scary figure slaps a cloth over someones mouth?
And I never knew that you could, or would, use it for cleaning purposes. With the cost associated with it, WHY would ya? lmao [/*]
My friend used to work in refrigeration and a fellow worker ended up in a coma because he was inhaling freon which has chloroform in it (I believe). That and as you said the cloth over the mouth and nose like in the movie Vanished.
I had no idea any sort of cleaning could be done with it. I always think of bleach to clean things, though that would have left an obvious visual mark. This whole thing is sheer madness. That poor baby girl!!!

How far out there is it that Cindy decided the car smelled and needed to be cleaned with chloroform. No no no. Keep it simple imo

So someone was trying to clean out the stain in the trunk?

7 hours a day at his office when she is out on bail during the day, hours at the house with her, this is so far beyond what an attorney does its crazy. Even the most devoted attorney convinced of his clients innocence doesn't go this far.
Either he is having an affair with her, or he has such a deal with the snake garrison that he doesn't dare let her out of his company for to many hours, everything being done for baez's movie deal
I prefer the affair theory.

Thank you SS :seeya:

It makes sense, I do know that GAL program is begging for volunteers.

The one thing I'm pretty sure of is there wouldn't have been any flies coming out of the trunk if chloroform was there before G picked it up.
I don't think Casey had the chloroform.

She washed the clothes. So I don't find it unbeleivable that she cleaned the car. But then I am trying to figure out her cry that the car smelled like a dead body had been in it. Could it be she TRIED to clean the car but it didn't work.....it didn't get the smell out. So, rather than keep silent about the smell when the LE would obviously notice it, she cried it out and admitted it herself, as if to show "shock"!

I KNOW THIS HAS BEEN CIRCLED REPEATEDLY...BUT I HAVE JUST A FEW SIMPLE 'DATE' QUESTIONS...
FIRST, WHY IS THIS FAMILY ALWAYS SPEAKING IN 'DAY' TERMS
SUCH AS MY DAUGHTER/GRANDDAUGHTER HAVE BEEN MISSING FOR 31 DAYS
VS. A MONTH OR OVER A MONTH AS 'NORMAL' PEOPLE WOULD DO
OR, THE PIZZA HAS BEEN IN THE CAR FOR 12 DAYS, IN THE HEAT...
VS. 2 WEEKS OR WHATEVER
MOST PEOPLE SPEAK IN 'GENERAL' TERMS YET THE ANTHONY ATTEMPT TO BE SPECIFIC WITH EXACT DAYS....
SO OKAY, LETS GO WITH THAT, WE HAVE A EX LE AND A NURSE, MAYBE IT'S THEIR 'CAREERS' THAT MAKE THEM SPECIFIC
31 DAYS BACK FROM THE TIME THE FIRST 911 CALL WAS MADE, WAS JUNE 14TH
12 DAYS BEFORE THE CAR WAS PICKED UP WAS JULY 3RD, WHICH WE KNOW THE CAR WAS AT AMSCOT FROM JUNE 27-30TH BEFORE THEY TOWED IT
JUNE 9TH WAS THE DATE THE ENTIRE FAMILY STATED ORIGINALLY THEY LAST SAW CAYLEE...I SO VERY MUCH FIND IT HARD TO BELIEVE THAT THE ENTIRE FAMILY MISSED THIS DATE BTW
UNTIL CINDY WAS CONFRONTED ABOUT THE FATHER'S DAY VISIT, AND AS A 'SPECIFIC' DAY PERSON, SHOULD HAVE RECALLED SUCH A SIGNIFICANT DATE AS A HOLIDAY---FATHER'S DAY, CORRECT
AND JUST WHERE IS THE 12 DAYS COMING INTO PLAY, IS SHE SUGGESTING THAT WHOEVER PLACED THIS 'OTHER' DEAD BODY IN THE TRUNK CHOWED DOWN ON PIZZA AND PLACED IT IN THERE TOO...

They are like Peas in a Pod, this family.
Now what person in thier right mind would allow a baby killer in their home? And, if you heard that this child was also going to "take" your house from you; how could you sleep at night? Unless you knew that you were part of the problem, or rather part of the "solution" cleaning agent and all.... :cuss:
No; this family isnt afraid of each other, but they should be. They are not; or they wouldnt have her in that house. [/*]
Actually I disagree. I think IF they all a hand in this...even in a cover up......they all are very afraid of each other! IF Casey admitted to them that Caylee died in her care, then she'd be afraid her parents would confess that to LE. BUT, if they helped her bury little Caylee, then they'd be VERY afraid of Casey and that she'd talk. Not sure about Lee yet.....but if he even found out about it after the fact, then he's guilty of cover up too. They all need each other to keep quiet or lie. Wow, can you imagine being in that position with that bunch!

Hello Everyone, I am pages behind but thought to run this by y'all.
Do you think the Anthony's could have helped bail out Casey with Caylee's supposed Trust Fund on the search for Caylee web site?
Donations perhaps.
Also this morning th DCF met with CA on Abuse charges,

Curious, since I about Pro Se Litigant and On Te Papers for out of state you just need a resident of Orange Cty florida to sign.
Someone should be protecting Caylee's interest, after all since she has not been found and has no death certificate, I agree the court should handle her interests. Not GP's or Mother.

I wish I knew more about entymology. I guess there are so many factors and variables that come into play here, if the trunk was air tight, how fast the flies reproduce, the levels of chloroform ect, I am sure they have had a forensic entomologist check out what was found. There has been so much thrown out there but very little that we actually know. So frustrating, and if there wasn't a beautiful little Caylee and this was a just a book, it would be absolutely fascinating. imo, moo

Kill the adults with chloroform and place them between layers of tissue paper contained in a pillbox. If entomological pins are available, pin them, through the thorax, onto a cork or styrofoam. Send the specimens in a suitable box to the entomology laboratory

I still don't think Caylee died in that trunk or decomposed in that trunk. I can't get past the dogs in the backyard, indicating that a decomposing body was in the backyard. Then there's the shovel. I tend to believe that Caylee was buried in the backyard first...where she began to decompose. Then "someone" removed her from the backyard (knowing the police would be looking back there once they were contacted) and put her little decomposing body into the trunk....and there the decomposing smells, etc. transferrred to the trunk. Not sure how long she was in there but long enough to cause the smell. From there her little body was driven away and taken elsewhere. I'm curious.....I wonder if that car was driven anywhere AFTER it was picked up from the tow yard.

No, wait. The dog would be INside so he could have the doghouse to himself.
