I did just that. Why do we want to hear anymore Anthony lies? AND pay them for it? Outrageous. :flamemad:

Not that I agree, it's just that JB is doing his job very, very well.

As for donations? Yep. Keep 'em comin! I had sympathy for the GP's in the beginnning, but Cindy's behavior and comments have caused me to change my mind. Now I can see where Casey got her morals. I have lost all respect for this family. [/*]

Not for Casey--for them. JB can hire all the help he wants, get all kinds of resources (don't think PI's for finding Caylee will be part of that, tho.) And, I can't see, if this ever goes to trial that JB will stand alone. He will want super-duper assisting attorneys to help him out.

I mean, sometimes we find humor in this case, even tho it's not funny at all.

Also, what if you flip it around...maybe Ms Casey got the idea of using the chloroform from that photo and Ricardos had nothing to do with it.

JMO tho [/*]I agree with you. Young people post things that will make them look "hip" or "cool." Doesn't mean they are actually doing it. imo

That's why I'm not wasting my time being "furious" about any of this. I have faith in our justice system. [/*]

I'm trying to feel that way also, but last night someone said even though the current charges could get her about 17 yrs, she'll probably really only spend 3-4 yrs in jail.

That's not enough for what I believe she did, but you're right, we have to have faith more will happen.

It upset me; the shoving cake or whatever it was in casey's face, cindy sprung on her like a mountain lion. It disturbed me greatly. She is one of those women who have no idea what the word personal space means.
I cant stand to think what she'd act like with a cool million in her bank account. She better hire a houseboy she will need one. I liken her to the Judge; pointing people to do this and do that; without a word. Just waving her arms to direct people around.

Dunnie, I dont believe for a second, that LE or the FBI believe this child is alive, and in PR or anywhere else but dead and decaying; actually at this point; there wouldnt be anything left of Caylee. Unelss she was buried in a container somewhere, and still depending on how she was buried, there would only be bones left at this point. No way to determine COD unless her hyoid was broken. I believe that GA used that gasoline to dispose of her remains, I believe all three were there, and they laid her to rest somewhere. I really do. I think that LE needs to have a warrant for the HOME; inside that HOME; and search it from top to bottom; crawl spaces, attic, basement etc. I do NOT feel that was done, and I dont understand why. SO LE if you are reading here, get your warrant together, and your Luminol and black lights and do this RIGHT. If you can find Michelle Doors blood after ten years, I'm sure you could find the spot where Caylee died as well.

Think the Anthony's have hard wood flooring in that house? Michelles blood was found on the inside underside of the floorboards, years and years after her death, in her neighbors home. LE has failed to search this home properly. From top to Bottom. Please do the search. And do it NOW before it's too late!
What, is the hold up on this???

Dots [/*]

The only reason I disagree with the gp's having anything to do with Caylee's death is the three 911 calls. Cindy is panicked in that last call IMO. As for covering up, who knows??? Nothing would surprise me at this point.

All IMO.

Despite people saying it's best if the Anthonys don't search, because it would be terrible if they found the body, I can't imagine anyone not being out there anyway.

If it was my Mother, she would be out in those weeds in a heartbeat and no one would stop her. In fact, she'd be out at night with a flashlight.

Of course, if it was my Mother whose granddaughter was missing and a daughter was refusing to tell what happened, they'd need the police to peel her off of her own child.

There would be no game playing when it came to the life of a child.

I agree with you- this situation to me is too staged. From the 911 call, impounded car, ladder by pool, zanny and sawgrass apt, amy going off to PR and leaving check book, lost days without anyone seeing her, no emotions from anyone regarding their lost child-maybe screaming and hollering but no tears, coming outside and giving interviews and now getting paid. There just seems no urgency in looking for Caylee. Something is just not right.

A lawyer friend of mine may a remark about this case when it first happen. He stated that Casey was the type that would fake a kipnapping for money or attention. I always said that Casey did not do this alone. I just can't fiqure out what exactly they are doing. it seems like somebody goes in their house and writes a script and then it is played out the next day. Just a weird feeling. Maybe i have just looked at this too long now.jmo

Son of Sam law

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Son_of_Sam_law

"In certain cases a Son of Sam law can be extended beyond the criminals themselves; to include friends, neighbors and family members of the lawbreaker who seek to profit by telling publishers and filmmakers of their relation to the criminal. In other cases, a person may financially benefit from the sale of a story or any other murderabilia pertaining to the crime if the criminal was convicted prior to the date lawmakers passed the Son of Sam law in the states where the crime was committed."
Is it the fact that Casey has not been found guilty of the neglect charge that keeps this law from coming into play for her and her supporters (family)?
Wouldn't there be a "hold" on any proceeds pending a trial?
If not, then I imagine we will soon see more people charged with crimes jumping the gun and selling rights to their stories and interviews before trial so they may cash in and Profit from thier crime before the conviction...nice way to fund ones defense, real nice.:cuss:
I'm not watching that Blinking ABC interview...too close to the contagion for my taste.

I said that I would look at 20/20, but only if the power is on and if Nancy Grace or Greta isn't on with new news. When we watched the interview Greta had with George and Cindy, we got some valuable news from it, ie., the gas cans, time line contradictions, etc., in other words, there may be information that we can use that we haven't heard yet. If you are researching the evidence gathered so far, it is always prudent to see if the GP slip up again and let just a bit of information that this brilliant message board can analyze and discuss. I'm proud to be on this message board. It is a continual education from all of you crime buffs.

I think this presents an interesting opportunity. We've all seen Casey strut for the camera. She loves being the center of attention. Maybe the temptation to be on national television will be too much for her and we'll see her interviewed soon.

Exactly why murder charges haven't been filed. DA wants all the ducks in a row, all the i's dotted and the t's crossed. I think even Sharon Rocha had an attorney--someone who can help one walk thru a lot of the legal mumbo-jumbo that comes along. Plus, she did use one to file the civil suit against SP.

Hers wasn't a criminal lawyer, tho. Of course, she was cooperating in the fullest for the search of her daughter and grandson, so she would have no need for a CRIMINAL attorney.

And this Najame or whomever has been linked to the Anthonys is a criminal attorney, if I understood correctly. Just a quick note before I head back out for another search (this morning search proved unfruitful). Lots and lots of searchers out there. Weather is breezy with an occasional rain(I assume an outband of Hanna),not hot at all. Anyone coming out to search should bring boots. lots of water everywhere! Bugs not as bad as I was expecting. Oh, and watch out if you book a room online - the one I booked was in crack town so I ended up sleeping in my car in the staging area since they wouldn't give me my money back.

Not sure how much should be posted publicly about the search and what we are looking for so will leave that for the media to release, but we are looking for something in particular.

Two very famous people. Apples and oranges comparison. And I didn't follow the Blake case so I don't know if he was guilty or not.

It's a moot argument anyway. Unless you REALLY believe that millions of dollars paid to high power attorneys will convince a jury that Casey is innocent. I don't.

I have too much faith in our justice system. It works, and works well in the vast majority of cases.

(And, BTW, when it DOESN'T work, more often an innocent person is condemned for something he did not do, rather than a guilty person getting "off". That's why we have the Innocence Project. God bless them for their heroic efforts! :rose: )

20/20 paid the Anthonys for the photos & videos the Anthonys provided.

The Anthonys used said monies to bond out Casey.

Judges have nothing to do with the actual bonding out process. Only the bond amount.

Casey Anthony has the right to be bonded out. Just like any other criminal. Or alleged criminal.

Yep! I agree.

Cindy bragged to Casey about her four "cameo appearances" in the first jail house phone call with Casey; remember? Casey said to Cindy: "I saw your cameo appearance today" and Cindy said: "Which one--I've done four"...

I say, let the interview go forward; and I believe LE would agree!

I think it will be very revealing from the standpoint of what we already know; maybe as much as Scott Peterson's interview with Greta was. Cindyspeak reveals a lot about herself.

Why do you feel that way? If Casey is a narcissist, she won't be able to resist the spotlight. National television is about as big as it will get and she's been playing to the cameras all along. Let theym do the interview. You can't stop them and you can bet le will be taking notes the whole time. The more Casey and her family talks, the more they dig themselves into deeper holes.

Think I found what searchers are looking for....

Officials told EquuSearch volunteers to look for a rolled up rug, duffel bag and bones before heading out, Freideman said.

Mandy Albritton, search director for Equusearch, said in the past they have found bodies inside of rolled-up carpet, or found things inside duffel bags and that is why they tell their volunteers to look for those items.

She added that some volunteers encountered snakes and alligators.

Casey Was 'Voracious Reader'

Orange County Corrections official Allen Moore said Casey Anthony did not cause problems while she was in protective custody and that she was a "voracious reader" while in jail.

"I found out she was a model inmate, not creating any problems for staff or making any special demands," Moore said.

Anthony had no direct contact with other inmates while at the jail.

Moore said Anthony was in her cell much of the day and read.

"She was a voracious reader of books from the jail library," Moore said.

Moore did not know which books she read.

Jail Learned From Nowak Case

Moore also said that lessons learned from the recent case involving astronaut Lisa Nowak were implemented during Anthony's release Friday.

"When astronaut Lisa Nowak was here, we did not have this kind of restriction up and it prevented an unsafe situation where no one could get in or out of the building during the release process."

Moore said steps were taken to protect access to the building because of the large media presence.

"When there is this much media outside of the building, we are going to insure access to the building," Moore said. "And protect it from the standpoint of public safety and fire codes."

They signed a promissory note to the bond company. That means that they owe the bond company $50,000 - right now. It does not mean that they only have to pay it when she goes to court or back to jail.

You can't just have chloroform without some form of cloth, bottle etc for application..

Did Cindy remove the bottle?

What are the chances of this kind of scenario. [/*]

Excellent question.

Yes that could be true.

It could have also been taken from the house when they gathered some evidence.
I like your theory better though because I can't see Casey leaving the bottle of chloroform in the trunk where the body was, it makes SENSE that she would have thrown it away PRONTO.

ie: murder weapon [/*]

You would think that, but she did drive around with Caylee's body in her car for a while.

NOT I!!!

And I have a question for those who know the law. If it gets nuts outside the Anthony's due to protesters and fearing weapons as a news caster today said, does a judge have the right to pull her bond and put her back in for the duration due to public safety?
