They only signed a promissory note (promise to pay), I don't think they put up actual cash.

that's exactly why I asked.....I heard a reporter on FOX say that the story was most likely sold to the highest bidder, which I am sure they would have no problem defaulting on that agreement either when Caylee's remains are recovered and Casey is charged w/ murder....

Okay I just asked her and she said she has never heard of a GAL being appointed in a case like this....and she agreed that with the child "missing and presumed dead" it would be highly, VERY highly, unlikely. She told me that GAL's are appointed at the request of an attorney. Can be any attorney....parents' attorney, state's attorney, etc. In this case, IF it happened, of course it would be at the request of the state's attorney. It would take a while to get through "the system." There is really nothing, though, that a GAL could do other than what is being done currently by others. Kinda like I said....... She also said that since GALs are volunteers AND overworked as it is, it is highly unlikely for those reasons that one would be appointed...as they are so in demand and overwhelmed with cases where they ARE able to make significant contributions to a child's well-being.

I think it would depend on the specific contract(s) of the bond company (or companies) as to whether the $500,000 bond would be revoked.

They do still have the right to revoke it for any reason they deem fit.

If they did, then yes I presume it starts all over again.

I've never been arrested or had to deal with a bond company though.

Omigosh, I'm catching up and am just learning that it was Cindy and George who put up the bond? Omigosh, what idiots! These people truly are unbelievable! Don't they understand she's safer in jail? How are they going to protect her? And she'll be going right back anyway, so what do they accomplish? I can understand loving your daughter...but, c'mon, their relationships weren't good on a "good day", so now why are they so adamant to defend a daughter who hates them? Do they think they can "buy her love"? I know I have a sister who will do and do and do for her adult kids and then they treat her like crap and hurts her and she complains, but she'll turn right back around and do and do and do for them. My advice to her is always "tell them NO"!!!! But she never listens, so it gets hard to have any sympathy when they mistreat her. Cindy suggesting this peeing all over the place is absolutely disgraceful not to mention the suggestion that dirty diapers are all over that place and the TRUNK NOW TOO. She makes the hair on my neck stand at full attention.

If by the grace of God that child is alive, she must never go back to that family IMO. Knowing them is one thing, but subjecting any child to this family after what we've seen should be a CRIME in itself IMO.

I was thinking about this case last night, because it drives me crazy. I think the only way we will get Casey to show ANY emotion is if someone sits her down to question her, shows her a picture of Caylee and just talks about how sweet and beautiful Caylee is. I think this was LE's theory too and that's why they were wanting her to confess to an "accident" in the immunity offer.

I'm thinking that's what happened too. I'm so sad that this could have all been put ito action with a fight and possibly being "kicked out" and no nanny and mommy not around to watch her child anymore while she "worked" and partied....so she got her hands on chloroform somehow and then researched how to use it. How sick. And if this is what happened, then it might explain Cindy's denial....because can you imagine the guilt you would feel if you got into a fight with your daughter and she left with your g-child and then chloroformed her as a "babysitter". The very first time the world saw Casey when she was brought in, if you look at her eyes I swear there is a sort of "twinkle" in them and a sort of tiny smile on her face. A mother who is worried sick or devastated does not pose or act smiley happy on a stripper pole a few days after her baby girl "goes missing". Even animals mourn their own. I am feeling a lot of anger towards this hateful twit and I would slap the silly out of her to get the info out of her. And why do these stupid bounty hunters feel the need to "rescue her". Thats exactly the look I go. (thank you God!) His group is not perfect but they are pretty good kids. But there is alot of talking that goes on at school, so I was happy it was obviously not heard of. At least until I brought it up;)
