Discussing cases */4 the trial goes to the jury...hmmmm....seems like probably a lot of unnecessary talk that could impede a verdict?

I sort of like the old way better IMHO?!

What do you think Celebration?

Quoting Jack Benny's reply when told he had to give the burgler his money or his life:

"I'm thinking! I'm thinking!"

I like it. In grand juries, jurors are allowed to ask witnesses questions.

I think discussions during recesses are fine, as long as the discussions remain only within the jury. That will insure that the evidence is understood clearly by all of them.

We'll see how it goes. imo

focusing on conversations with other juror and then be faced with the inability to 'get back' into the trial?

After careful consideration, I agree with you poodlestar but this is what going to be tried....I smell many probably 'Appeals' and more cost to taxpayers down the road for MI re this 'reform'.

Should be interesting to read the final outcome?!:seeya:

WOW Since we worry about jurors going online getting info, this is really too much. What if we get another Juror #10??? Oh, it must have some kind of favorable benefit.
