thanks for the update, I could understand if the families were opposed to the trial being aired that it would not be shown, but both families of the victims want the public to know just what was done to there children by these defendants

I will be here from Monday on prepared to watch openings, I hope the pros is good as this is a circumstantial case and the defence is up for a fight, this one is the weakest of the 3 male defendants in this case so I am hoping for a good pros case and a G on each and every count,

I'm concerned about this one, too. The evidence seems very weak - although I believe it.

I think thought that the horror of the crime and the photos might carry this through - it wouldn't be like letting a suspected burglar off on weak evidence.

I think it is the murder charges that the pros may struggle to prove BRD, many of the other charges will be easier, but it is the murder charges that they want to get the DP, I am opposed to the DP so for me it is not an issue, but I do believe he is as G of murder as any of the other defendants even if he did not pull the trigger, or help to put her in the rubbish bin

Here is a look at the jury makeup:

The final jury consists of five men, and seven women, plus there are four other men that are the alternates.

That breaks down to two black men , five black women, one white man, two white women, one Asian man, and one Hispanic man.

So defense attorney Green won't be able to use race as a factor when Cobbins gets convicted.

How is the evidence weak against Cobbins? I thought his DNA/sperm was found on Channon Christian? He admitted that he participated in the carjacking and being at the house.. at the very least I would think he is easily guilty of felony murder.. for being part of a felony - which led to murder.

I am perplexed how anyone could think the evidence here is weak.

Of course the trial hasn't started and I bet we don't know even half of the evidence the prosecution has on this piece of garbage.

By the way Insessions is still covering the trial of the Alvaro Castillo.. not sure if they will cover this or not, but the judge did mention their microphones were in the courtroom?!?

Yeah, that's not going to happen. The DA's office has his DNA, why would they want to plea deal with him? :rolleyes:

I don't blame the defense for trying.

Trial is back insession..
