That's strange.
Unless it's maybe a family member or friend that has her password and is telling people about her missing.
There's not alot of news on her is there?
She's been missing a week and this is the first i've heard of it.

Most likely a friend that had the password. At least they were smart enough to set it to private. I feel this way because my daughter had a mysapce, when she wasn't supposed to, and it was her "friends" who helped her set it up. She even said they had the passwords. She's good at giving her pw's out, like for email. Needless to say, she's been banned from the internet :D Give them an inch and they'll take a mile. Girls want to grow up so fast these days. I don't think there's any reason for anyone under 18 having a myspace account, unless they're missing and a tribute site was set up for them.
I hope she is found and is safe. :rose:

There isn't anything new on this missing girl. :(
If she did run away, I hope she's safe and comes home soon.

I've lived here in the Parkersburg area most all my life, and I've NEVER heard anyone say that Parkersburg was all strip clubs and adult book stores.....I have to disagree with ya, C T.....
It is true that there are a few, but they're right off the interstate (except for 1)...
One part of the 7th Street area is a strip club and an adult book store right across from each other...but that area of 7th Street is what we know as "crack town" and you don't drive through there unless you have a good reason.
There are bad parts of town, but the area that she disappeared from is right off 7th Street wayyyy down at the other end, which is nothing but businesses. There's a Kroger, a car wash (which I use all the time), Dairy Queen, Wendy's, CVS pharmacy, tanning salon, banks, lots of car dealerships, and little neighborhoods behind the businesses...people out and about all day and evening. I've never been afraid in that area at all, the city park is full of adults and kids, jogging, biking, feeding the ducks, playing baseball.....
IMO, she's probably a runaway. I don't want to think of the alternative.
If I hear anything, I'll post more.
Just had to set the record straight on P-burg and the surrounding area...we're all pretty laid back, normal people here and alot of us have moved to the big cities, and came back to raise our families because of the "safeness" of the area.

A comment on the first WSAZ link indicated she had been found and was safe. I so hope that's true. So much danger out there for a young girl . . .

Supposedly someone called the news station and they confirmed she was found safe.
