This is what henry and I have compiled from all the questions that have been sent to us. Please look them over and if anyone feels a question or questions are over the top, out of line, needs to be deleted or has already been answered, do tell us. As of this posting, there are 46 questions.
I'll post the first 23 here and the second 23 in the next posting.
This set of questions deal with Maria Lauterbach.
1. Has either of Maria's biological parents been in contact with the OCSD? If yes, have they been able to contribute anything helpful to the OCSD?
2. This is in reference to Maria’s Military Protective Order: A.) Would OCSD have enforced this if it was violated off base and, if not, what procedure(s) would have been followed; *.) on what date was OCSD aware of this and who communicated the information to OCSD; and C.) was the MPO recovered from her car the one that expired in September, 2007?
3. Does OCSD have any videotapes, surveillance pictures or documents from locations, other than the already released ATM withdrawal, confirming her whereabouts after 12 noon on 12/14?
4. Based on media reports and Mr. Laurean‘s notes, it has been suggested that Maria was at the Laureans house on two occasions on 12/14. Is this correct?
5. If OCSD knows, what was the exact date that Maria Lauterbach purchased her bus ticket to El Paso, was it 12/14 to be used on 12/15 or 12/15 to be used on 12/15?
6. When Mr. Hames (the bus station ticket agent) was interviewed by OCSD, was he shown a picture of Maria, did he confirm that she purchased the ticket, and did he confirm that she was alone?
This next set of questions is in reference to Christina Laurean.
7. What is OCSD's definition of "cooperating witness" in more detail, please, other than a witness who is cooperating; and does OCSD's definition of "cooperating witness" differ in any degree from the DA's definition of a cooperating witness? Can you please explain OCSD’s policy on not publishing pictures of a ‘cooperating witness’? Is OCSD aware of any threats or harassment being displayed towards Christina Laurean?
8. There are numerous conflicting reports of "facts" about this case in the media. Could you clarify the following: the reports of Christina finding a note after Cesar left versus waking up finding her husband writing notes (this was stated by her step-father when he was interviewed on The Early Show) versus a media statement that Cesar was gone when she woke up.
9. Has she conveyed to the OCSD that she did in fact confront Maria regarding Cesar?
10. Has she conveyed to OCSD that she is fearful of Cesar?
11. Is Christina still in possession of her cell phone or is it with law enforcement?
12. This question is in reference to the cell phone search warrant/affidavit requesting Laurean family phone records between Dec 14 and Jan 11. A.) Were their phone records checked prior to Dec 14; *) have their phones been checked since 1/12/08; and, C.) Christina's cell phone has a Las Vegas area code – is this correct or a typing error?
13. Is it a criminal offense for the wife to have waited to report what her husband told her regarding Maria committing suicide and his burying her in the woods?
14. Was Christina gainfully employed outside their home in the preceding days/month prior to returning to active duty aboard Camp Lejeune in January ‘08?
This next set of questions is in regards to Cesar A. Laurean
15. Is it true that Dog (Duane Chapman) The Bounty Hunter (or any of his associates) been in contact with the OCSD, and if so, is OCSD receptive to his offer; and have any other bounty hunters been in contact with the OCSD?
16. Letters purportedly written & sent by Cesar after he fled were intercepted. Were the envelopes the self-sealing type - or the old-fashioned kind that have to be licked to wet the adhesive? Were the stamps on the letters self-adhesive?
17. Have there been any more letters (allegedly) from Cesar mailed to Christina or any other family member since the last ones reportedly from Houston?
18. Have professional profilers come up with a profile for Cesar, and if so, when will this information be conveyed to the public?
19. Does OCSD know what Cesar wearing the morning he left (MC uniform or civilian clothing) and has an inventory been conducted of his military clothing and issued gear, as well as an inventory of what personal belongings/clothes are missing from his house?
20. Has the OCSD considered that Cesar may have had plastic surgery and/or tattoo removal/alteration and/or disguising himself as a woman in an effort to evade attention and capture?
21. Are there any recent credible leads on his possible whereabouts, and if so, how recent are the leads and where are they coming from?
22. Have any women come forward to OCSD and claimed to have had a romantic relationship with Cesar post marriage to Christina?
23. This is in regards to Laurean’s January 8th interview: Were there any concerns (red flags) during or after this interview that caused OCSD to elevate him to a potential POI or suspect in her disappearance and was he ever considered a flight risk?
