Well I just found out something. This one really takes the cake. As you know, I always try to inquire of people what they think happened to Ray. Well I talked to a relative of someone who works in the Courthouse and I can’t believe this as we have been talking about people being promoted since Ray disappeared.
Cheryl Spotts the one who talked about Ray’s behavior that day while talking to Judge Brown was fired by Judge Grine about 1-2 weeks ago. The reason being she didn’t get along with other staff members. I heard that she had worked in the courthouse for almost 20 years. This resembles the firing of JKA although Cheryl will be transferred when another Centre County position when one become available, but she can’t work in the courts again.
That is the major talk sweeping Bellefonte.
WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON IN THAT COURTHOUSE?

I forgot to say that it doesn't take someone 20 years to find out the ability to get along with others. Cheryl spoke up and that is probaby why this happened. She wouldn't have been in a position that she was in if she hadn't done a good job. This really has made a lot of people angry. :flamemad:

Not that this thread has anything to do with RG, but I thought some might be interested in reading a 'side bar' about CS - "Unraveling The Mystery Of Criminal Court Scheduling" (from a website in serious need of an overhaul):

S1, Your old saying...AND THE BEAT GOES ON.....
If she has been there for 20 years and now she doesn't get along with co-workers, but there will put her in another spot. That is silly in itself. I am completely stunned. I know that this has to have to do with her speaking out about what transpired with Ray meeting Judge Brown.
As a Centre County citizen, I feel helpless. To know what has been going on and it keeps going on. No one is concerned about Ray.

What does that mean? She can't work in the courts again? Isn't she an ADA? Where does that leave her then? As a clerk? Working for someone in county office but not as a lawyer?

She's not an ADA, though I don't know if she is a member of the bar. If she's been there that long, probably not; clerking is usually an "entry level" position for an attorney.

I thought someone had said she left the Judge's office to go to the DA's office to be a ADA?

I guess I must be because I didn't hear about Spotts going to the DA's office. What will she be doing in that office if she was the one who coordinated the trials?
Was CF an ADA? What type of job will she be able to get now, in the courthouse?

Spotts was Judge Brown's admin who referred to Ray as "not being with it" when it came to deciding upon a potential fall trial date.

I found an article that mentions Assistant District Attorney Carolyn Fenton. Is she or isn't she and ADA? If she is and she was fired, where will she now be able to work and will it affect her career as an attorney?

SJ, see my response above your post.
And while we're on it, this "major talk sweeping Bellefonte" isn't a firing. She's being reassigned. Quite a dramatic potrayal though...
Arnold was clearly fired. Tough to employ a person who you battled in an election with. I'd wager she couldn't pass a poly saying she didn't expect it.

I just happen to wonder if it involves her speaking out about Ray. I am very glad that she did.

Now you have people going and folks moving up? Moving out now why is that really? Perhaps a conflict with Co workers.
