Hi omsk99! I wish I had some news to report but not much is going on. I know that there are organized searches being planned for the spring months. Jaliek has been missing for so long. Kerr has moved on with life in VT. It's sad.

It makes me so angry that Jaliek's story has never been covered by any national outlet. Why hasn't Nancy Grace or Greta? They were asked to give some coverage but never have. Instead, we have wall to wall coverage of Casey Anthony. There is a similarity, in that the dreadful foster father was the last person with Jaliek. Unfortunate to have to say it, but those weird foster parents would make good TV.

Absolutely agree on the lack of coverage and the obscene amount of coverage of the Anthony case of NG (I've stopped watching her show because of that).

I was glad to find this little segment on Jaliek that ran on CNN a couple of months ago:

"The Jaliek Rainwalker case was the subject of a 5-minute spot on CNN’s “Find the Children” feature. Rainwalker, then 12-year-old from Washington County, disappeared Nov. 1, 2007. Greenwich-Cambridge police have described the last person to see Jaliek, his adoptive father, Stephen Kerr, as a person of interest but have made no arrests."

I do not understand why if they think they can put together a case against the foster/adoptive parents of Adam Herrman, why a cir. case cannot be made with this tragedy. There is no other explanation of why and how this boy has disappeared.

The latest episode of The Missing features the cases of Lindsey Baum missing out of WA and Jaliek Rainwalker missing from NY state.

Jaleik is a foster child who has been missing missing for 20 months and deserves our help in bringing him home safely. The Next case is that or Lindsey Baum missing our of the state of Washington while making a ten minute walk from her friends house to her house and between that time she disappeared.

I pray it's Jaliek they have found. His 2 yr missing anniversary is Sunday. :sad: He needs to come home.

I hope they can put away whoever did this to him then *ahem* the foster dad *ahem. JMHO :glare:

Thanks for the update Starling.

I emailed the lady that had been Jaliek's foster mom at times - the one that had kept him right before he went missing - anyway, I emailed her back in October when they found the skull fragments, and asked her to please update me on the findings, and I'd share it with everyone here.

I never heard back from her. :bored: She may have thought I was a kook! I feel her website for Jaliek and her assessment of his life at the end there, are exactly right.

It disgusts me that Kerr and his wife are still walking around free, while little Jaliek is probably in a grave somewhere at Kerr's doing. :angry:

This lady has laid her relationship with her daughter on the line because of her love for her grandson. I feel so sorry for her but, also, proud of her strength in her belief. I would hope I would be strong enough to do the same in those circumstances.
