It has been 5 years since College Student Josh Guimond has been missing. He was last seen leaving a party that was 3 minutes from his dorm at St John's University. He has not been seen since.

What a sad anniversary.

Do you know if anyone has checked possible activity on his social security card? [/*]

I am sure everything has been checked. This is such a sad story. I have seen his father on the news and he is just heartbroken. The campus he was on is pretty small so it is hard to believe that he just disappeared into thin air.

There is an Abbey nearby and IIRC the Dad was served with a restraining order about harrassing the monks. However that is a link that should really have been investigated. There were 2 sister's murdered in the area years ago that IIRC had a link to the Abbey. That case has never been solved.

I also have been following the disappearance of Josh over the years. It is said that some of the monks were found abusing children at a retreat. This was hushed up and those monks, who are now old, were separated from the rest, but not charged, I think.

I wonder too if Josh was also one of the drowing victims, as he had just left a party in a dorm room and was walking alone, that would be near a parking lot area.

Besides the alledged abuse there is the unsolved murder of two sisters that were aquainted with thae monks and I believe took classes or something. Once in a while during sweeps the local stations will bring this story up.
I don't blame Josh's Dad for being suspicious. Josh's body should have turned up.
The monestary grounds would be a good place to bring Texas Equisearch. JMO

The accused priests are under a kind of house arrest on the premises. They are not allowed to be in the swimming pool areas with the students and they Are not allowed to say mass. Most still hold their passports and are able to walk on campus any time. [/*]

There certainly are problems there. and not to start any rumors but Collegeville is not that far from St Joseph, MN where Jacob Wetterling went missing 20 years ago.
