Large Barrel Reportedly Missing From Peterson Home
Drew Peterson Allegedly Hauled A Large Barrel Into His Car On The Day Of Stacy Peterson's Disappearance
BOLINGBROOK, Ill. (CBS) ― Could the answer to what happened to Bolingbrook mother Stacy Peterson lie inside a missing blue barrel? The Chicago Sun-Times reports police are looking for an unknown man who a neighbor reportedly saw helping Drew Peterson load a blue barrel into his sport-utility vehicle.

As CBS 2's Mai Martinez reports, this is not the first time Stacy Peterson's family has heard about the barrel.

For weeks, Stacy Peterson's family members have been searching for any sign of the missing 23-year-old mother with no luck. Now, their search for answer seems to be bringing them back to some familiar areas and tips. One of those tips came from a Peterson neighbor.

"Somebody sawing Drew Peterson carrying a barrel with somebody you know, we don't know," said family friend Pamela Bosco. "It's been a while since we heard that, so why it's coming to the surface now, is there any value in it? I don't know. I sure hope it leads to something."

Bosco says state police want to talk to the "mystery man" the neighbor said helped Drew Peterson load the barrel into the back of Peterson's now-confiscated sport-utility vehicle.

Based on that information, searchers have been on the lookout for the barrel for weeks. They've spotted more than 10 of them since Stacy disappeared. But so far there's been no sign of Stacy. Still Bosco says the search for the barrel will go on.

"I sure hope it leads to something. It sounds very interesting to me," Bosco said.

According to the Sun-Times, the neighbor said it happened just hours after Stacy Peterson was last seen.

Stacy Peterson's sister, Cassandra Cales, recalls seeing a large blue barrel in the Peterson garage before her sister vanished. Cales says Stacy said the barrel was full of chlorine that Drew needed to clean the family's pool.

In addition to the missing blue barrel that police have told the family they're looking for, sources say scuba diving weights are also missing from Drew's house. That may have led investigators to search numerous ponds, including one near Clow Airfield where sources say cadaver dogs hit on something.

Sources say the dogs also hit on something in an upstairs bedroom of the Peterson house -- the same bedroom where sources say a nightstand is believed to have turned up missing. That's led investigators to question recent visitors to the Peterson home about what furniture they recalled seeing in that room.

Since Stacy Peterson was reported missing to state police by her family, troopers executed a pair of search warrants at the couple's Pheasant Chase Court home, seizing property and two automobiles, including the SUV.

A police source said tests conducted on the vehicle at the state police laboratory have not been completed. But another source said police located pieces of blue plastic on the back end of the car.

In recent weeks, Drew Peterson; his brother, Paul; and his son, Oak Brook Police Officer Steve Peterson, all have been called to testify before a grand jury. A police source would not say if either Drew Peterson's brother or son has an alibi for the night following the last sighting of Stacy Peterson.

"We don't know yet," the source said. "Everyone is suspect."

While everyone might be a suspect, State Police Capt. Carl Dobrich made a point of identifying Drew Peterson as one by name. Dobrich also classified the investigation of Stacy Peterson's disappearance as a "potential homicide."

Meanwhile, family members say it was tough to try and celebrate Thanksgiving without Stacy, but her sister, Cassandra Cales, tried to make the best of it by inviting Stacy's children over.

"I understand from Cassandra the other evening that she asked to have the children for Thanksgiving and he denied that. He said 'no they were going to stay inside the house,'" said Sharon Bychowski, a friend of Stacy's.

Stacy Peterson, 23, vanished Oct. 28. She allegedly was on her way to help the boyfriend of her sister, Cassandra Cales, paint a house in Yorkville, but never arrived. Drew Peterson has repeatedly insisted Stacy ran off with another man.

A man from Stacy's past whom she had recently reached out to, 35-year-old Scott Rossetto of Shorewood, admitted that he and the missing woman traded sexually charged text messages for the three weeks leading up to her disappearance. Rossetto denies having carried on an affair with Stacy Peterson, but did say he met her at a Bolingbrook Denny's restaurant nine days before she vanished. An uninvited Drew Peterson interrupted the rendezvous, Rossetto said.

A police source says they have "good information" Stacy was dumped in the Shorewood area near the home of Rossetto. Another source said investigators believe the killer may have attempted to frame Rossetto by depositing the body near his house.

"Day and night they're working on it and they have their own search and rescue teams out there that they are working with so they are conducting searches along with the investigation," Bosco said.

Bosco says the family's search for Stacy Peterson will resume Saturday morning at 9 o'clock. They are asking volunteers to meet them at The Bolingbrook Recreation and Aquatic Center.

The search of the Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal for missing mom Stacy Peterson is based on cell phone records showing her husband, Drew Peterson, was near there when he received an anxious call from his sister-in-law, a source said.

Drew Peterson will ask an Illinois judge today to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate leaks of grand jury testimony arising from an investigation into the disappearance of his fourth wife, Stacy Peterson, ABC News Law & Justice Unit has learned.

Peterson, a tough, veteran former cop caught squarely in the center of a major missing-persons investigation, has begun to play hard ball with authorities.

He has has grown increasingly aggressive in defending himself as the investigation has moved forward with apparently only circumstantial evidence.

As some widely reported claims have later appeared to be false — like earlier police allegations that Peterson and another man asked two truck drivers to transport a blue container the night after Stacy disappeared — Peterson has dramatically ratcheted up his criticism of the investigation.


Peterson and his attorney Joel Brodsky are scheduled to be in court today to learn whether a judge will grant a motion filed last week seeking the return of some of Peterson's property that police seized in a series of search warrants. That property includes two vehicles, guns, CDs and other items.

Peterson and Brodsky will also issue a formal complaint about what they say have been numerous law enforcement leaks to the press about the case. Brodsky declined to comment about any petitions regarding a request for a special prosecutor.

A grand jury has been hearing evidence pointing to authorities' theory that Peterson was involved in the disappearance. An investigation was opened into the death of Peterson's third wife, Kathleen Savio, whose death had been ruled an accident. Savio's remains have been exhumed, and that investigation is ongoing.

Peterson has vehemently denied any involvement in the disappearance. He has said he believes Stacy ran off with another man. As interest in the case has exploded nationwide, pressure has mounted on prosecutors to solve the case or make an arrest. Peterson has long been the primary target of the investigation. When called to testify before the grand jury, he exercised his Fifth Amendment right not to incriminate himself and did not answer questions posed to him, sources told ABC News.

A collectively impatient public and media, combined with relentless and often very public pressure from the family of Stacy, has driven the investigation forward with an intensity not often seen in the courtrooms of Joliet, Ill.

October 22, 2008

The Illinois State Police continue to conduct exhaustive investigations into the disappearance of Stacy Peterson and the murder of Kathleen Savio. The Will County State’s Attorney’s Office reopened the investigation into Kathleen Savio’s 2004 death, which occurred before I took office. After filing a petition with the court to exhume Kathleen Savio’s remains, a board certified forensic pathologist confirmed my assertion in that petition that her death was a homicide.

In addition, my office took the rare step of convening a Special Grand Jury in November 2007 to hear testimony and evidence regarding Stacy Peterson’s disappearance and Kathleen Savio’s murder. The Special Grand Jury is still receiving evidence.

The investigations into both Stacy Peterson’s disappearance and Kathleen Savio’s murder have been highly productive. I fully expect there to be a resolution in at least one of these investigations in the near future.

After hearing all of the evidence, the coroner’s jury convened in private and ruled that the manner of Kathleen Savio’s death was an accident. The cause was listed as drowning.
Certain aspects of Kathleen Savio’s death raised concerns for me as well. In my professional opinion, having served at the time as the coroner for 14 years, it was my opinion that, at the very least, her death should have been ruled “undetermined.” The coroner’s jury, unfortunately, ruled otherwise.

At the time, I had every confidence the police agency that investigated her death would present its reports to the state’s attorney’s office for review. Sgt. Pat Collins of the Illinois State Police obtained the assistance of State’s Attorney’s Tomczak’s office on March 3, 2004 in his investigation. Any criminal charges that might have resulted against any individual would have been the responsibility of the former state’s attorney.

Baden, Michael M., M.D.: Forensic Pathologist; Medical Examiner for 45 years and has performed more than 20,000 medico-legal autopsies. He performed the 3rd autopsy on Kathleen Savio's body 11/16/07 (the 2nd autopsy after her body was exhumed). He ruled that the cause of death was drowning and that the manner of death was homicide.

Beck, Alexander H.: Alex Beck is listed as the attorney for Drew Peterson for the March 11, 2002 Petition for 14 Day Emergency Order of Protection (Case No. 2002 OP 000460) filed by Kathleen Savio Peterson. Beck represented DP in their divorce, but was replaced by Joseph Mazzone. Called before the Grand Jury 1-22-09.

Berg, Rich: Bolingbrook police officer. He testified before the GJ in May, 2008.

Belcher, Bill, Jr.: Bill Belcher, Jr. is listed as a witness on autopsy report of Kathleen Savio, March 1, 2004.

Blum, Larry, Dr.: Forensic Pathologist. He performed the 2nd autopsy on Kathleen Savio's body 11/13/07 (the 1st autopsy after her body was exhumed).

"It is my opinion based on my education, training, experience and personal observations, and to a reasonable degree of medical and scientific certainty, compelling evidence exists to support the conclusions that the cause of death of Kathleen S. Bolden, Raymond: Special Prosecutor at the time of Drew Peterson being fired from the Bolingbrook Police Department in 1985.

Bosco, Pamela Kay: Pam Bosco is the spokeswoman for Stacy Peterson's family. She was the legal guardian to Cassandra Cales (Stacy's sister). She is the owner of PetKing Industries, which put up the 25K reward.

Brenczewski, Bob: Will County, Illinois Chief Deputy Coroner.

Brodsky, Joel: Joel Brodsky is Drew Peterson's defense attorney. He is partners with Reem Odeh at their law firm, Brodsky & Odeh. He has 25 years experience practicing law. He is a graduate of Mather High School, Drake University, and DePaul University's School of Law. His brother, David Brodsky, is a judge in Lake County, Illinois.

Brown, Carol L.: Carol Brown (nee Hamilton) was Drew Peterson's first wife. She is currently married to David Brown. She is the mother of Stephen Paul Peterson and Eric Drew Peterson, Drew Peterson's two oldest children.

Brown, David: David Brown is married to Carol Brown, Drew Peterson's first wife.

Budenz, Daniel: Daniel T. Budenz, Ph.D. of Belleville WI, is a certified professional counselor and a certified alcohol and drug counselor and certified instructor and internationally certified addictions counselor. Drew and his children spent time with Dan and his family over Christmas break 07/08 at their FL home.
This is guessed to be the counselor who told Drew it was fine to tell Stacy's children she is on vacation.

Burek, Thomas: Sgt. Thomas J. Burek is an IL State Police investigator, spokesperson.

Bychowski, Sharon: Sharon Bychowski lives next door to the Peterson home. She testified before the Grand Jury in January 2008.

Cales, Anthony MacKenzie: Stacy Peterson's father. He was married to Christie Marie (nee Toutges) Cales who went missing 3/11/98. They married 5/26/79 and divorced '90 or early '91. He was also married to Linda June (Olson) Cales 1996 to 2002. His other children are Cassandra Cales, Yelton Cales, Jessica Cales (deceased), and Lacy Cales (deceased). He testified before the GJ in May, 2008.

Cales, Cassandra: Cassandra Cales is Stacy Peterson's sister. Cassandra reported Stacy missing in the early morning hours of October 29, 2007. She testified before the GJ in January, 2008.

Cales, Christie Marie (Toutges): Christie Marie (nee Toutges) Cales is Stacy Peterson's mother. She went missing on March 11, 1998 from Blue Island, Illinois.
She is also the mother of Yelton Cales, Cassandra Cales, Christina Michelle (Toutges) Ryan (deceased 9/16/06), Jessica Cales (deceased 12/83), Lacy Cales (deceased 10/17/87).

Cales, Gary: Gary Cales is Stacy's uncle. He lives in Hemet, CA. He is the brother of Anthony Cales.

Cales, Jessica: Stacy's sister. She was the daughter of Christie Marie (Toutges) Cales and Anthony McKenzie Cales. She died in her bed at age 2, of burns and smoke inhalation from a house fire in December 1983. At the time of Jessica's death, Christie Marie Cales was 8 months pregnant with Stacy.

Cales, Lacy Ann: Stacy's sister. She was the daughter of Christie Marie (Toutges) Cales and Anthony McKenzie Cales. She died October 17, 1987 of SIDS in Downer's Grove, Illinois.

Cales, Linda June (Olson): Linda June (Olson) Cales was Stacy's step-mother. She was married to Anthony MacKenzie Cales.

Cales, Yelton: Yelton Cales is Stacy's brother. At the time of SP' disappearance, he was incarcerated in the Western Illinois Correctional Center on charges of aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a minor (the victim was 15, he was 25). He is the son of Christie Marie (Toutges) Cales and Anthony McKenzie Cales.
Yelton was released 6/4/2008.

Carcerano, Margherita (aka Marge or Margie): Margherita (Margie) Carcerano is the wife of Steve Carcerano. She lived two doors away from Kathleen Savio's home at the time of Kathleen's death on March 1, 2004.

Carcerano, Steven: Drew Peterson's friend and spokesperson, and is the husband of Margherita Carcerano. He says that he was the first person to find the body of Kathleen Savio on March 1, 2004. He lived two doors away from Kathleen's home at that time. He is a mortgage banker/broker. He testified before the Grand Jury on November 21, 2007; May 14, 2009.

Carrol, James B.: Drew Peterson's uncle. He was listed as executor of the estate on a will for Kathleen Savio and Drew Peterson. The handwritten will was found more than one year after Kathleen's death. Carrol fired Harry Smith, settled estate by awarding assets to DP, explaining that her sons would have the $1M life insurance.
Carrol was removed as executor 4/17/08 by Judge Goodman.

Carroll, John Paul: John Paul Carroll is Drew Peterson's attorney. He is also a private investigator.

Cesare, Steve: Stacy's friend. Steve is a magician and owns Chezaday. He received an email from Stacy on October 17, 2007, in which she (Stacy) described her marriage as "controlling, manipulative and somewhat abusive." Steve Cesare had known, and worked with, Stacy's sister, Christina Michelle (Toutges) Ryan for many years before her (Christina's) death. Steve wanted to drive Stacy to see Christina while she was in the hospital in Peoria, but Drew would not allow it. Steve Cesare testified before the Grand Jury.

Charnisky, William: William Charnisky was the Bolingbrook Police Chief who recommended that Drew Peterson be fired in 1984.

Chira, Ralph: Stacy's high school sweetheart for three years. He is a manager at Meijer's grocery store. He last saw Stacy about 6 weeks before she disappeared.

Claar, Roger C.: Mayor of Bolingbrook. He is purported to be one of Drew's close friends. At one of the vigils held for Stacy, Claar jumped out of his car, waving his arms and yelling in anger at the vigil attendants. He has not made any public appearances to comment about Stacy's disappearance.

Collins, Pat: Sgt. Pat Collins, ISP, was appointed to investigate the Savio death (by the Grand Jury, which investigates cases brought to it by the State's Attorney's office). Appeared before the Grand Jury 3/3/2004 in connection with the Savio death investigation.
The coroner confirmed the involvement of the state’s attorney’s office, but Collins declined to comment. He did not appear for the inquest, H. Hardy took his place.

Compton, Scott: IL State police Lt. Scott Compton declined to comment on why his agency's technicians and investigators concluded KS' death was not suspicious, noting that crime-scene technicians "make observations and document those observations as part of their investigation and processing of a crime scene." He declined to comment further in a Chicago Tribune interview, 8/18/08.

Connolly, Vicki (Victoria L. Rutkiewicz): Drew Peterson's second wife. They were married In October 1982 and divorced in February 1992. She lives in Paxton, IL at present. She testified before the GJ in April, 2008.

Connor, John: Will County Assistant State's Attorney who handled the return of Drew's firearms, arguing it would be inappropriate to relinquish the firearms in the middle of an investigation into “possibly two 1st degree murder charges.” He handles most of the Peterson-related court appearances.
He is the head of the Computer Crimes Unit.

Deel, Robert: ISP crime scene technician present at KS' death investigation.
(See VanOver) VanOver said. "Bob Deel was asked by me if he thought there was anything hinky here, and stuff like that, and if we should be doing something different, and I was told no." Deel could not be reached for comment, according to Chicago Tribune article dated 8/18/08.

She claims the top prosecutor is obsessed with the dead woman’s former husband. “Glasgow seems to have a personal vendetta against Drew Peterson,” DeVriendt said, “and he’s focused on Drew Peterson,” to the point that he is neglecting the cases of other missing and murdered women.

Dobrich, Carl: Captain with the Illinois State Police. He is Commander of Investigations. He declared on November 14, 2007 that "Drew Peterson has gone from being a person of interest to clearly being a suspect," in Stacy's disappearance.

Doman, Anna Marie: Kathleen Savio's sister. She was appointed co-executor of KS' estate 4/17/08. Testified at GJ May, 2008.
Anna is quoted in a Chicago Tribune article 8/08:
Savio’s relatives, who were never convinced she died in an accidental drowning, said police ignored their suspicions. For one thing, said Savio’s older sister, Anna Doman, her body was found with short fingernails.
“It looked like somebody had cut her nails. She always let her nails grow; she was into that natural, long nail,” Doman said.
Doman said no one in her family was interviewed by state police. She said authorities ignored her request to look through a suitcase full of documents Savio had saved regarding her ongoing fight with Peterson.
Savio’s body was found weeks before their divorce’s financial settlement was to be finalized.
“We tried to get somebody to at least look, investigate,” Doman said. “Nothing, nothing, nothing.”

7/24/08 it is revealed that "Ashley" is Lenny Wawczak and was a trap.

Gavlin, Chrystel: Chrystel Gavlin is appointed Guardian Ad Litem to the two teens Thomas and Kristopher Peterson, 2 of the 4 who inherited KS' estate (Eric and Stephen Peterson are the other two). She is the court-appointed attorney who will work independently to protect the interest of the 2 teens in relation to the reopened probate case.

Glasgow, James W.: States Attorney for Will County, Illinois. He began practicing law in 1981.
On the Savio case, he says there are problems with documentation on the original investigation under the direction of Jeff Tomczak, former SA.

Glick, Martin: Martin Glick is an attorney for the Savio family in the matter of contesting the estate (successful 4/17/08) and wrongful death lawsuit pending. Other attys: Lawrence Varsek and John Q. Kelly.

Goodman, Carmen: Will County Judge Carmen Goodman made the decision to change executors in the Savio estate (4/08).

Grabiec, Edwin B.: Judge with the 12th Judicial Circuit for the State of Illinois. He ruled police and fire commissioners lacked sufficient evidence to find Peterson guilty of the charges in Peterson's firing in 1985.

Grady, Scott: Scott Grady is listed as attorney for Kathleen Savio for the March 11, 2002 Petition for 14 Day Emergency Order of Protection (Case No. 2002 OP 000460) against Drew Peterson.

Gutierrez, Luis: Master Sargeant with the Illinois State Police.

Hardy, Herbert B.: Herbert Hardy is a Special Agent with the Illinois State Police. He provided testimony to the coroner's inquest in May 2004 as the jury was trying to determine the cause of death for Kathleen Savio. He was filling in for the ISP officer who had been to the scene and was "on vacation and unable to attend." Hardy did not see the death scene, yet he told the coroner's jury, "And our investigation shows that basically, after the coroner's report and toxicology that she died from drowning," Hardy says" - "We believe that the laceration from her -- that she sustained to the back of her head was caused by a fall in the tub," Hardy said. "There was nothing to lead us to believe that anything else occurred." He also told the jury that they (ISP) were waiting for phone records to confirm Drew Peterson's alibi, and told them that the records had been requested. They had not been. He went on to tell the jury that it takes a long time to receive phone records.

Holt, Jamie: Jamie Holt is Stacy's friend.

Holt, Kaitlyn: Kaitlyn Holt is Stacy's friend and was the babysitter for the Peterson children.

Hosey, Joseph: Writer/reporter for Herald News. His book about the case was released September 1, 2008. Title: Fatal Vows.

James, Walter Lee: Served on the Coroners Jury for KS' death. Said (in an interview with Greta VS/Fox News 11/13/07) that Officer Dennis Pratl helped sway the opinion of jurors by saying he knew Drew was a charitable guy, a good neighbor. DP denies knowing Dennis Pratl.

Janota, Ronald: Ronald Janota is a retired Lieutenant Colonel with the Illinois State Police. He was Drew Peterson's boss at the Metropolitan Area Narcotics Squad (MANS) in Joliet, Illinois. He claims that Peterson allegedly sabotaged one of the squad's drug stings and gave the identity of an undercover narcotics agent to a convicted killer under investigation for dealing drugs. It was this action by Peterson that led to his firing from the police department in 1984.

Johnson, Gary V.: Gary Johnson was Drew Peterson's first defense attorney. He accompanied Peterson to his November 7, 2007 Grand Jury appearance at which Peterson pleaded the 5th Amendment. Johnson dropped Peterson as a client after Peterson went on national TV appealing for legal assistance.

Katro, Jamie: Jamie was interviewed by ISP while she was an inmate at Dwight (drug and obstruction charges), because of what she may know as hearsay. She is a friend of Bindy Rock, and is quoted saying this about the case: "Like she's not at the bottom of a lake," Katro said. "I heard they ran her through a funeral home and cremated her, her ashes."

Kaupas, Kenneth: Captain with the Illinois State Police and is the District Commander for District 5, which serves Grundy, Kendall and Will Counties.

Kavanagh, Richard J.: Dick Kavanagh, Public Administrator of Will County, administered the final estate of Kathleen Savio after her death, working with Harry Smith, her atty.
Her handwritten will was not found until more than one year after Kathleen's death.

Kaye, Jen: Jen Kaye is Stacy's friend.

Kelly, John Q.: John Q. Kelly of NY is one of the attorneys working on reopening the Savio estate (successful 4/08) and possibly the wrongful death lawsuit pending.

Kokas, Ron: Ron Kokas is the father of Christina (Tina) Michelle Toutges Ryan (deceased). He is also the father of Debby (Kokas) Forgue and Kerry (Kokas) Simmons.

Kurdenok, Mike: Mike, age 38, of Coal City, IL was a classmate of Stacy's at Joliet Junior College. He stated in an affadavit (that became public 8/20/08) that he advised Stacy to take cash, and not use credit cards so that she could not be found. This happened over drinks Oct 27, 2007. Kurdenok says that Stacy told him she would leave in the morning when Drew was asleep (although it is unclear what morning she'd leave).

Laatz, Anthony: Anthony Laatz is a friend of Cassandra Cales. He was administrator the FindStacyPeterson.com website. The forum section of the site was closed May 15, 2008 because of mishandling. The site was closed at the end of October, 2008.

Lamantia, John: John Lamantia is a social worker. He met Stacy in a coffee shop parking lot when Stacy struck his car and was concerned her husband would be upset. He said that Stacy was distraught about her marriage and revealed her husband had physically threatened her that day.

Maniaci, Steve: Steve Maniaci is listed in Kathleen Savio's obituary as "dear friend", her boyfriend at the time of her death. Maniaci spoke to Savio on the phone two nights before she was found drowned in her dry bathtub in March 2004, according to his GJ testimony May 8, 2008.

Marcolina, Gary L.:Gary L. Marcolina is a real estate developer based in Crest Hill, Illinois. He is listed as a witness on the purported Will that Drew Peterson presented to Probate Court in which Kathleen Savio's property and assets were to be distributed to Peterson's 4 children at the time (Stephen, Eric, Thomas and Kristopher), and in which James B. Carroll (Peterson's uncle) is listed as Executor of the Estate. Marcolina testified before the Grand Jury on (?).

Martinek, Walter, Jr.: Neighbor and good friend to Thomas Morphey, Drew Peterson's step-brother. Martinek notified police that Morphey came to his house on the night of October 28th, 2007 to tell Martinek that he (Morphey) thought he had helped Peterson dispose of Stacy's body earlier in the evening. Testified before GJ April, 2008.

Matuska, Kim: Kim Matuska, 22 yrs old as of 5/08, testified before the Grand Jury May 29, 2008. She is a tanning salon employee who has a friendship with Drew.

Maves, James: James Maves is a close friend of the Cales family and was Stacy's guardian while she was in high school, and before she legally declared her emancipation at age 17.

Mazzone, Joseph: Replaced Alex Beck as Drew's divorce attorney.

McCants, Kevin: Attorney for Cassandra Cales. Kevin McCants has been practicing law for the last 14 years and is an active member of the District of Columbia Bar. Attorney McCants experience includes Post-Graduate Forensic Science work and clerkships with the Wisconsin Supreme Court Chief Justice, Illinois Attorney Generals Office, and the District of Columbia Court. Attorney McCants is also licensed to practice in Federal Court and possesses extensive trial experience in most categories in Illinois and District of Columbia including murders, mental health cases, and petty crimes.

McCarthy, Chief Kevin: Chief of Police for the Village of Bolingbrook beginning September 9, 2008. He was second in command until McGury stepped down as Chief. McCarthy joined BPD in 1984.

McCord, Lee: Lee McCord, of McCord & Assoc, offices in the Loop, gave Drew a series of polygraph tests in the summer of 2008. The purpose was for Armstrong's book "Exposed".

McGury, ex-Chief Raymond: Chief of Police for the Village of Bolingbrook. He became chief in 2005, and resigned as of September 15, 2008 to become Executive Director of Naperville Park District, amid speculation that he'd had a falling out with the mayor of Bbk. He was formerly second in command at Naperville Police Dept, and had a 20-yr career in that department.

Mims, Richard (Ric): Drew Peterson's friend for 27 years. Mims stayed at the Peterson home during the first few days after Stacy disappeared. He sold his story to the National Enquirer. He has testified before the Grand Jury three times, November 2007, December 6, 2007, December 20, 2007. He has stopped all communication with Peterson.

Mitchell, Bryan, M.D.: Bryan Mitchell is listed as the examining physician on the autopsy report for Kathleen Savio, dated March 1, 2004. March 20, 2004 - Dr. Bryan Mitchell, releases an autopsy report, saying the cause of Savio’s death was accidental drowning. Mitchell notes that Savio’s hair was soaked with blood from an inch-long laceration on her scalp, her tongue was partially clenched between her teeth, and she had several small abrasions on her body. May 2004, a coroner’s jury rules Savio’s death an accident. No charges were filed in the case.

Morelli, Alex J.: Alex J. Morelli is a Bolingbrook Police Officer, was a partner with Drew Peterson while Peterson was still on the force, and is reported to be a close friend of Peterson. Morelli is listed as a witness on the purported Will that Drew Peterson presented to Probate Court in which Kathleen Savio's property and assets were to be distributed to Peterson's 4 children at the time (Stephen, Eric, Thomas and Kristopher), and in which James B. Carroll (Peterson's uncle) is listed as Executor of the Estate. Morelli testified before the Grand Jury on November 14, 2007.

Morelli, Fred: Drew Peterson's first attorney of record. He accompanied Peterson to the Grand Jury on November 7th, at which Peterson pleaded the 5th Amendment. After Peterson appeared on national TV on the Today show with Matt Lauer, Morelli withdrew as Peterson's attorney.

Morphey, Albert: DP's Step-father. Testified at GJ in March, 2008

Morphey, Betty: Drew Peterson's mother. She is married to Albert Morphey. She was 79 years old at the time of SP' disappearance. Testified at GJ March, 2008.

Morphey, James: Testified before GJ in April, 2008.

Morphey, John: John Morphey (41 in 2008) is a brother to Tom Morphey, not related to Drew except through the marriage of their parent. He testified before the Grand Jury April 10, 2008 about what Tom told him regarding moving the container in which he believed SP's body was placed.

Morphey, Thomas C.: Thomas Morphey (40) is Drew Peterson's step-brother through his father Albert Morphey's marriage to Drew's mother, Betty.
On the night of October 28th, Morphey reportedly was picked up by Peterson in a park. They went to a coffee shop, arriving at 7:37pm, and talked for a period of time. It is reported that Peterson then left Morphey at the coffee shop, left his (Peterson's) cell phone on the table and told Morphey not to answer it if it rang. The phone did ring and the name that appeared was "Stacy." Shortly thereafter, Peterson returned to the coffee shop, picked up Morphey around 9:21pm and they went to the Peterson home.
Morphey reportedly has stated that he helped Peterson carry a "rectangular, 4 foot long container that was sealed and warm to the touch" from the master bedroom to the back of one of the Peterson vehicles. Upon returning to his home, Morphey called his friend and neighbor, Walter Martinek, and then went to Martinek's home around 9:45pm. He told Martinek that he thought he "had helped Drew dispose of Stacy's body."
On the evening of October 29, 2007, at approximately 11pm, Morphey attempted to commit suicide by swallowing pills, telling his brother on the phone that Drew would get him anyways.
He was rushed to the hospital when (his brother) John called paramedics. He had been in "protective custody" or "in an institution" since that the attempt, the truth of his whereabouts was unclear/undisclosed. He was back at home in Oct, '08. Morphey appeared on Good Morning America and revealed that Drew asked him if he loved him enough to kill for him.
He appeared before the Grand Jury 5/14/2009.

Novelle, Robert: Peterson sons Thomas 15, and Kristopher, 13, are being represented by Chicago attorney Robert Novelle. His filing prevented them from testifying to the Grand Jury March 6, 2008.

Odeh, Reem: Reem Odeh is one of Drew Peterson's attorneys. She is partners with Joel Brodsky at their firm, Brodsky & Odeh.

O'Neil, Patrick K.: Patrick O'Neil is the Will County, Illinois Coroner. O'Neil called for a coroner's inquest in the matter of Kathleen Savio's death. The inquest was held on May 15, 2004.

Osterberger, Domenica: Will County Assistant State's Attorney, asked a judge (6/13/08) to quash DP's subpoena regarding the Colt Sporter Lightweight 223 Remington with an attached EOTech electronic sight that is alleged too short.

Patterson, Marcus: Marcus Patterson is currently a Harvey, Illinois police officer. He was employed with the Bolingbrook Police Department from 1999-2002. He previously worked with Drew Peterson on the Gang Suppression Unit, which was headed by Peterson. He testified before the Grand Jury on November 7, 2007.

Pelkie, Charles B.: Spokesman for the Will County State's Attorney's Office, under the direction of James B. Glasgow.

Penning, Carol: Community Service Council of Northern Will County Board President, is also Bolingbrook’s village clerk. Carol was mentor and friend to Stacy when she was employed at BPD as a clerk 6 years ago at age 17 and remained in touch until Stacy's disappearance. Stacy visited Penning one week before her disappearance, and was a constant source of comfort and friendship, Penning said.

Peterson, Anthony: Anthony Peterson is the son of Stacy and Drew Peterson. He was 4 years old at the time of SP's disappearance.

Peterson, Drew Walter: Drew Peterson is a former Bolingbrook Police Sergeant. He retired from the Bolingbrook Police Department in November 2007 after he was named the prime suspect in Stacy's disappearance.
He graduated from Willowbrook High school in Villa Park, Illinois in 1972. After high school, he joined the Army and attended military police training in Virginia. He worked as an auxiliary officer for the Will County, IL Sheriff's Office.
He has been married 4 times: Carol (Hamilton) Peterson Brown: 1974-1980; Victoria (Rutkiewicz) Peterson Connolly: 1982-1992; Kathleen (Savio) Peterson: 1992-2003; Stacy (Cales) Peterson: October 18, 2003 to present.
His birthdate is January 5, 1954.
He has owned the following businesses: Blue Lightening Corp. d/b/a Suds Pub, Montgomery, Illinois; DaPage Corp. d/b/a Fast 'N' Accurate Graphics, Lombard, Illinois; CMYK Corp., a printing business in Lombard-Naperville, Illinois. At one time he was also a chimney sweep.
He has a pilots license, owns an ultralight aircraft. He is a diver, and was a member of SWAT team.
He appeared before the Grand Jury on November 7, 2007, at which time he pleaded the 5th Amendment.
Drew was arrested for felony unlawful use of a firearm 5/21/08 and released on $75,000 bond. Bbk police allege they did not know of the weapon, but Drew alleges it was one of his service duty SWAT team weapons. Trial was set to begin 12/8/08, but charges were dropped 11/20/08.
5/7/08: Drew was arrested for Kathleen's murder.

Peterson, Eric Drew: Drew Peterson's eldest son. He is the son of Carol Brown, Drew Peterson's first wife. He has stopped all contact with Drew Peterson, since the death of Kathleen Savio, and has refused any public comment.

Peterson, Kristopher: Kristopher Peterson is the youngest son of Drew Peterson and Kathleen Savio. He was adopted by Stacy after Kathleen Savio's death. He reportedly has stated that he heard Stacy and Drew Peterson fighting on the morning of October 28th, 2007. He has spoken with a Chidlren's Advocate and it was reported that he was called to testify before the Grand Jury on November 21, 2007, but it was delayed.
He testified July 10, 2008 before the GJ.

Peterson, Lacy: Lacy Peterson is the daughter of Stacy and Drew Peterson. She was 2 years old at the time of SP' disappearance.

Peterson, Norma: Norma Peterson is Drew Peterson's sister-in-law. She is married to Peterson's brother, Paul.

Peterson, Paul: Drew Peterson's brother. He is married to Norma Peterson. He testified before the Grand Jury on November 13, 2007.

Peterson, Stacy Ann (Cales): Stacy Ann (Cales) Peterson is the forth wife of Drew Peterson, who has been named the prime suspect in her disappearance. She is the mother to Lacy and Anthony Peterson, and is the adoptive mother of Kathleen Savio's sons, Thomas and Kristopher. She is the sister of Cassandra cales, Yelton Cales, Jessica Cales (deceased), and Lacy Cales (deceased), and half-sister (same mother) to Christina (Toutges) Ryan (deceased).
Stacy is the daughter of Anthony Cales and Christie Toutges Cales (missing since 3/11/1998).
Stacy disappeared on October 28, 2007. She last spoke to someone other than her husband at 10:28am that morning.
She was last seen by her sister, Cassandra at 11:30pm on the night of October 27, 2007.

Peterson, Stephen Paul: Stephen Peterson is the son of Drew Peterson and Carol Brown, Peterson's first wife. He lives in Aurora, Illinois. He is an Oak Brook, Illinois Police Officer. He married Teresa Peterson in August 2007, who is a Federal Agent of the Inspector General's Office for the U.S. Housing Department, HUD. Stacy Peterson did not attend the wedding. Stephen Peterson called in sick to work on the night of October 28, 2007. He took several days vacation during the month of November, during which time he went to Mexico for a "belated honeymoon," and upon his return, he extended his vacation several times. His personnel records from the Oak Brook Police Department have been subpoenaed. He reportedly has received nearly $250,000 in funds that were transferred to him by his father, Drew Peterson.
He testified before the Grand Jury 11/7/07, 12/7/07, 12/13/07.
On June 4, 2008, he took possession of 8 of Drew's weapons which were seized in November.

Peterson, Teresa: Teresa Peterson is the daughter-in-law of Drew Peterson. She married Stephen Peterson in August, 2007. She lives in Aurora, Illinois. She is a Federal Agent of the Inspector General's Office for the U.S. Housing Department. She has been questioned by investigators as to Stephen's whereabouts for the time surrounding Stacy's disappearance.

Peterson, Thomas: Eldest son of Kathleen Savio and DP. He was adopted by Stacy after Kathleen's death.
Testified before Grand Jury 6/26/08.

Phelps, Matt: Crime writer who reported at the end of June, 08, that Drew Peterson and Joel Brodsky had a conversation with him and his agent (Peter Miller) about writing a book. Phelps contended that DP/JB suggested that it might reference Stacy as having something to do with the death of Kathleen. That is according to Phelps but denied by Brodsky.

Piry, Kyle: Drew Peterson's ex-fiancee. She was engaged to Peterson in 1981. She has stated that Peterson was controlling and manipulative, and that he stalked and harassed her. Testfied befor the GJ in April, 2008.

Pontarelli, Mary: Kathleen Savio's next door neighbor and best friend. She reportedly was the first person to find Kathleen's body, though this account has been disputed by Steve Carcerano. She is married to Thomas Pontarelli, and is the mother of Nick Pontarelli. GJ testimony January 3, 2008.

Pontarelli, Nick: Nick Pontarelli is the son of Mary and Thomas Pontarelli. At the time of Kathleen Savio's death, he lived next door to the Savio home with his parents. He is a high school student. GJ testimony January 3, 2008.

Pontarelli, Thomas: Thomas Pontarelli is the husband of Mary Pontarelli and the father of Nick Pontarelli. At the time of Kathleen Savio's death, Pontarelli lived next door to the Savio home. He reportedly was one of the first people to enter the Savio home at which time Kathleen's body was found. Pontarelli testified before the Grand Jury on January 3, 2008.

Powers, Michael: Will County, Illnois Judge. On April 8, 2005, Will County Judge Michael Powers entered a judgment in the financial aspects of the divorce case. It awarded Drew Peterson the Blue Lightning Corp. and all the proceeds from the sale of the couple's home, according to the court documents filed by Kavanagh. The judgment also mentions what seems to be a fourth life insurance policy. "(It) provided that Drew Peterson would not be obligated to fund any college expenses for the minor children of the parties due to the fact that life insurance on the life of Kathleen in the amount of $1 million had been payable to the children," according to the document.

Pratl, Dennis: Police Officer. Member of the KS 2004 Coroners Jury. He told fellow jurors that DP was a charitable person, a good neighbor according to Walter Lee James, also a jury member. Drew denied knowing Officer Pratl in a Fox News interview 11/19/07.

Pretto, Jim: Jim Pretto is a member of the 2004 Coroners Jury investigating the KS death. In an interview 2/29/08, he says it took 45 minutes to decide accidental, and regrets the ruling saying hindsight is 20/20. He said some members suspected the death was not accidental, but the decision had to be made on facts presented. There was not much evidence. Pictures showed bruising and the cut on KS' head, but there were no reports of domestic abuse or documentation of such.

Raines, Christina: Fiancee "Chrissie", 24 in 2009, moved in with Drew Dec 08, with her two small children. The father of Christina's children is Tony Yauk.
The move was precipitated by stalking incidents with former roommate Michael L. Siuda, Jr, according to her father, Ernest Raines, who is worried and is against her relationship with DP. Chrissy moved back in with Mike at the beginning of February, and appeared before the GJ on 2/5/09. Back with Drew shortly after. On again, off again, rumored, but she went to visit Drew in jail 5/13/09.

Reimer, Richard: Attorney Richard Reimer represents the Bolingbrook Pension Board which issued Drew's $6,068 monthly pension, beginning in November.

Rice, Ross: Ross Rice is a Spokesman for the FBI.

Robinson, Michael James.: Michael James Robinson is a close friend of Drew Peterson. He is 34 years old and lives in Bolingbrook. He has refused to take a polygraph. On January 14, 2008, he was arrested for domestic battery, misdemeanor battery and witness intimidation. He allegedly choked his ex-girlfriend over an argument about a telephone call, dragged her into the apartment of another woman and choked the ex-girlfriend again. In the melee, he hit the two other women multiple times in the face. The witness intimidation charges stems from a phone call he made to one of the women in which he threatened her if she should speak to investigators about Peterson. His court date for the above-mentioned offenses was February 8, 2008, but as of 2009 keeps being postponed.
He testified before the Grand Jury January 2008 (twice), July 08, and 5/14/09.

Robinson, Paul: Paul Robinson is the brother of Michael J. Robinson, and is a friend of Drew Peterson. He reportedly has a history of drug related arrests.

Robison, Suzan: Suzan Robison is Kathleen Savio's aunt. She has stated that the Savio family is offering $20,000 for information leading to an arrest for the death of Kathleen. She has stated that Peterson "was a very jealous, very controlling person," and that "He followed her. He tracked her with GPS on her cell phone, called her constantly."

Rock, Anthony "Bindy": "Bindy" Rock, 68, was a central figure in an unsanctioned undercover investigation Drew Peterson undertook while he was on loan from the Bolingbrook Police Department to the Metropolitan Area Narcotics Squad in 1985. That investigation led to Peterson's indictment on charges of official misconduct and failure to report a bribe.
Peterson was fired following his indictment when the Bolingbrook Police and Fire Commission found him guilty of those charges, as well as disobedience and conducting a self-assigned investigation. DP was reinstated.
Rock testified before the Grand Jury in February, 2008.

Rosetto, Keith: Keith Rosetto is a former boyfriend of Stacy Peterson. They dated for about 2 months, six years ago (Stacy, 16, and Keith, 29) and broke up when Rosetto left for the Army. He testified before the Grand Jury on November 21, 2007.

Rosetto, Scott: Scott Rosetto is the twin brother of Keith Rosetto, and is a friend of Stacy Peterson. He is a registered nurse and lives in Shorewood, Illinois. Stacy reportedly called him 3 weeks prior to her disappearance. They exchanged what Rosetto has described as "racy, perverted text messages."
Rosetto met with Stacy at a Denny's Restaurant on October 19th, 2007. Drew Peterson showed up at the restaurant, in uniform. According to Scott, he came in and sat at their table. It is suspected that Peterson was attempting to frame Scott Rosetto with Stacy's disappearance. Rosetto testified before the Grand Jury on November 21, 2007.

Rozak, Daniel J.: Daniel Rozak is a Will County, Illinois Judge who signed the State's Attorney's Petition for Exhumation on the body of Kathleen Savio. Rozak also heard Brodsky's request for the return of Peterson's items that were seized during the search warrants (served on Peterson during the month of November 2007). He granted the request for the return of the IPods and several music CDs, but rejected the motion to return the guns, computers and vehicles.
5/7/09: Judge Daniel Rozak issued the warrant on first degree murder charge with $20 million bond as Glasgow requested.

Ryan, Christina Michelle (Toutges): Christina ("Tina") (nee Toutges) Ryan was Stacy Peterson's half-sister. Tina was married to James (Jamie) Ryan. She had two sons. Tina joked that she was an only child with 9 siblings (5 Cales children and 4 Kokas children)
Tina died 9/17/06 of colon cancer. Tina was cremated and her ashes were kept at the Peterson home until the time of Stacy's disappearance, at which time Kerry and her husband Matthew retrieved them.

Savio, Kathleen: Kathleen Savio was Drew Peterson's 3rd wife. She is the mother of Thomas Peterson and Kristopher Peterson who were adopted by Stacy Peterson after Kathleen's death. She was the daughter of Henry Savio and Mary Savio (deceased). She was found dead in her home on March 1, 2004, in a dry bathtub.
Her death was originally ruled an accidental drowning by a coroner's jury. In November, 2007, her body was exhumed and new autopsies were perfromed--the first by Dr. Larry Blum, 11/13/07, acting for the state, and the second by Dr. Michael Baden, 11/16/07, acting for the family.
Blum's findings were made public 2/21/08, manner of death homicide, cause of death drowning.
Immediately after his autopsy, Baden ruled Kathleen's death was a homicide, with cause of death as drowning.
She had numerous abrasions and bruises on her body, as well as a 1-inch laceration on the back of her head.
The Grand Jury is investigating her death and has heard testimony from several people regarding how Kathleen's body was found.

Savio, Henry J.: Henry J. Savio is Kathleen's father. He was appointed co-executor of KS' estate 4/17/08.

Savio, Henry M.: Henry M. Savio is Kathleen Savio's older brother.

Savio, Nick: Nick Savio is Kathleen Savio's brother. He stated that Kathleen told him "He'll [Peterson] kill me and make it look like an accident."

Schoenstedt, Richard: On Feb. 27, 08, Will County Judge Schoenstedt granted Peterson's request for the return of his cars and computers, as well as the firearms—provided he had a valid firearm owner's identification card. Later that day, state police revoked his card at the request of Will County State's Atty. James Glasgow. Ruled 5/22/08 that most of the guns could be returned to Drew via his son Stephen Peterson, who will maintain possession since DP's FOID card was revoked by ISP.
Judge Schoenstedt was presiding when DP appeared in court for the arrainment 5/8/09, which was postponed.

Schoon, Jennifer: Ex-girlfriend of Steven Peterson. Lived with Steven at the Peterson home at the time of Kathleen's death. Appeared at GJ 7/31/08. Represented by Atty Tom Glasgow.

Schori, Neil: Neil Schori was Stacy's Pastor. At the time of Stacy's disappearance, Schori was a Pastor of Community Care at Westbrook Christian Church in Bolingbrook. He is currently the Pastor of Naperville Christian Church (as of November 2007). Stacy met with Schori at Starbuck's on August 31, 2007. Several days after Stacy's disappearance, Schori came forward and stated that Stacy had told him at the Starbuck's meeting that Drew Peterson had killed Kathleen.
Stacy related to Schori--
that she awoke during the night and Peterson was not in the bed with her, so she began calling Peterson's cell phone. Stacy related that she heard noises downstairs and found Peterson standing near the washing machine in his black SWAT clothing. Peterson reportedly had a bag of women's clothing. Peterson stripped down and put his clothing into the washing machine. Peterson told Stacy that the police would be coming soon to ask questions and that she was to tell them that he had been home all night. Peterson told Stacy that "it [Kathleen's death] was the perfect crime."
Schori did not go to police in August when he became aware of this. He sent her home to "work it out".

Simmons, Kerry (Kokas): Kerry (Kokas) Simmons is Christina Toutges Ryan's half-sister. She is the daughter of Ron Kokas. Stacy considered Kerry her "step-sister."

Simmons, Matthew: Matthew Simmons is Kerry (Kokas) Simmons' husband. Stacy considered Matthew her "brother-in-law."

Smith, Harry: Harry Smith is the attorney who handled Kathleen Savio's divorce case, and was to handle Stacy's as well. He broke his silence March 6, 2008 on the Roe Conn radio talk show, revealing that KS told him she had no will. He said Stacy contacted him 10/24 and 10/26/07, asked about dissolution. Appeared at GJ 6/12/08.

Springhill Suites Hotel: Stacy met Drew Peterson when she was working at the Springhill Suites Hotel in Bolingbrook as a hotel clerk.

Stark, Paula: Friend of Drew Peterson. ISP seized her Ruger .357 Magnum March 19, 08 after her FOID card was suspended for an incorrect DOB and outdated address.
Also found was Drew's "folding gun" Ric Mims reported. Paula has a handwritten contract from DP transferring ownership of 1 North American Arms Corp. S.S .22 cal revolver, dated Feb 28, 08.
Paula and husband Lenny Wawczak babysat the Peterson children when DP was out of town for media appearances.
Paula turned informant, wearing a wire to record DP.

Taylor, Roy: Roy Taylor is the son of Sharon Bychowski, a friend of Stacy's. Taylor has helped to lead many of the searches for Stacy.

Teppel, Ken: Lt. Ken Teppel is the Bolingbrook Police Department Spokesperson.

Tieber, Kristoffer : Attorney for Drew Peterson. Present May 5/22/08 for the decision hearing to return DP's guns. Kris recently graduated with honors from Michigan State University College of Law, and works for his father's law firm.

Tomczak, Jeffrey: Jeffrey Tomczak is a former Illinois State's Attorney for Will County, and held this office at the time of Kathleen Savio's death. According to Patrick O'Neil, in November 2007, "if a recent state law allowing coroners to bypass the jury process were in place in 2004, the ruling would have been different." O'Neil said he had "every confidence the police agency [Illinois State Police] that investigated the case would present its reports to the Will County state's attorney's office for review." Jeff Tomczak was state's attorney at that time, and O'Neil said that any criminal charges would have been his responsibility, and that criminal charges could be lodged regardless of a coroner's jury ruling."

Toutges, Bob: Stacy's maternal grandfather, who lives in an assisted living facility.

Toutges, Kyle J.: Stacy's uncle, the brother of Christie Marie (Toutges) Cales, Stacy's mother. Testified before the Grand Jury 8/14/08.

VanOver, Mike: Mike VanOver, president of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Local 1028 and a Will County deputy coroner, was present at KS' death investigation.
VanOver asked ISP detectives and CSI tech Robert Deel if there was any reason to believe the death was suspicious. They said "no". Homicide death protocol was not followed, but it has been noted that KS' hands were bagged in preparation for it.
"When they bagged the hands, that was when I asked the question, you know, 'Do you think anything is out of whack here?' " VanOver said. "Bob Deel was asked by me if he thought there was anything hinky here, and stuff like that, and if we should be doing something different, and I was told no."
VanOver wrote in his report that he had notified his superiors that "the protocol was not being followed . . . because it was felt at that time by all parties that there were not signs of foul play or trauma for this death investigation."
Only a streak of blood was found in the tub, according to VanOver's report, police documents and testimony by the state police special agent at the coroner's inquest.

Varsek, Lawrence: Lawrence Varsek is one of the attorneys working for the Savios in the matter of KS' will (successful 4/08) and the possible wrongful death case pending.

Ward, Lisa: Lisa Ward is the daughter of Victoria Connolly, and formerly the step-daughter of Drew Peterson. She has reported that when Peterson was her step-father, Peterson tapped their home phones and was a strict disciplinarian, often utilizing a belt on her [Lisa] if she misbehaved. Testified before the GJ in May, 2008.

Wawczak, Lenny: Friend of Drew. Married to Paula Stark. Lenny and Paula watched the Peterson children when DP went out of town for media appearances.
Lenny turned informant, wearing a wire to record DP. He also set up the online persona of "Ashley" (see Ashley Gabrys) to trap and humiliate DP by publishing the private conversations on a website. He then went on to make a blog with vulgar posts, pictures, replys.
Lenny was arrested for battery July 25, 2008 after confronting Drew in a parking lot after Drew revealed that he and Paula had an alleged affair.
He appeared before the GJ May 14, 2009.

White, Stephen D.: Chief Judge, Twelfth Judicial Circuit. Signed the warrant for Drew's arrest on gun charges, 5/21/08.

Zidarich, Bruce: Bruce Zidarich is a friend of Cassandra Cales. He is reportedly the last person known to have spoken to Stacy before her disappearance. The phone call ended at 10:28am on the morning of October 28, 2007. Zidarich states that he and Stacy were discussing plans to paint a house in Yorkville that day. He has stated that Stacy was depressed and was still laying in bed during their conversation. Zidarich testified before the Grand Jury on January 24, 2008.

On three different occasions I have tried to reach you over the phone regarding charges I filed against Drew Peterson on the date of July 5 2002.

Note, I did contact the Police Dept and talked to the Asst Chief Mike Calcagno; in reference to Drew Break in the same weekend. I than filed a report in

When I found out Mr Peterson was having an affair with a minor at the police dept he began to get very violent. By strking me with his hand and chasing me through the house with a police stick. At that time on record, I had to get an order of Prtection from him.

Their has been several times throughout my marriage with this man where I ended up at the emergency rm in Bolingbrook for injuries, and i have reported this only to have the police leave my home without filing any reports.

On July 5th, Mr Peterson got into my home with a garage door opener he programmed for himself, while I was out of town with my Sons. I was unaware of his presents, and was very afraid for my live. * I am typing it as written sp grammatical errors and all*

He told me to move down to the third stpe and not to move or speak. He was very angry that in our divorce the judge ruled he would have to pay me child support. He told me he didnt want to pay me anything. pulled back. I didnt tell the police because I know they cant protect me from him. I know he will be back, hes now attempting to try to make me look like the bad guy, with untrue charges of Battery against him, and his 17 yr old Girlfriend. The sick thing is I really think they're enjoying this. Over the summer they went out of their way to rollerblade right in front of my home, drive by, and stop for long lengths of time in front of the house. Childish things like his girl friend flipping me off if I was out in front with the kids while driving by.

At the prestent time my children have been in a program at school called rainbos, in efforts to repair some of the damage drew and his girlfirend has created. One of which Drew falsely arrested me in front of my children with my face in the grass, and calling me a criminal for hitting his girlfriend, which didnt' happen. Insteatd, she called me a bounce of inappropriate name in front of my children, so I felt it was necessary to get them back in the house away from this. When I ran to the truck, it being very high up I notices Stacy his girl friend taping me, with the stolen camera Drew took from our home.
I attempted to take the camera and my next goal was to return to my home with my children. But I was thrown to the ground and treated like an outlaw, and booked and arrested for no reason. My wrist was sprained, when I was being thrown to the ground and held down by Drew, who was not on duty at the time. While this was happening my children were being held against their own will, by Stacy Cales, while she told them to sit down and be quiet. My son's phyc is working with them but states, "she cant fix what continue to happen on a on going basis'. My eight yr old come home from spending 1 hour with his dad, because he really is never there, and pushes his sons and girlfriend on my son all the time, and expressed to me that he was confused! It seemed that Drew live in girlfriend showed both my sons her wedding dress and ring, and told them she was going to marry their father. Of course that's ok, for Adults, but when my boys come home with tears in their eyes, still hoping for mom and dad to get back together again, it become hearbreaking and very confusing to them. They dont understand how dad can get married if he's still married to their mommy. The list goes on, and I understand it's just part of it, but it need to stop. My sons and I would like to move away from this area, for our safety and sanctity. I am a full time Nursing Student and Drew left me while in the middle of the program. I dont want my career or my sons to suffer this nightmare anymore. He knows how to manipulate the system, and his next step is to take my children away. Or Kill me instead.
I really would like to know why this man wasnt charged with this unlawful entry, and attempt on my life. I am willing to take any test you want me to take to prove my innocents of charges against me, and also any lie detector test, on the my statement I filed against him. I really fee, Drew is a loose cannon, he out on the Streets of Bolingbrook patrolling, and just taking the law into his own hands. i havent received help from the Police here in Bolingbrook, and asking for your help now. Before It's too late. I really hope by filiing this charge it might stop him from trying to hurt us. Please return my call at blankblank No.

Court refuses to lower Drew Peterson's bail

An Illinois Appellate Court has refused to lower the $20 million bail that is keeping Drew Peterson jailed while he awaits trial on charges he murdered his third wife in 2004.Peterson’s attorneys said in a statement they’re “disappointed” the appellate court has denied their request to reduce Peterson’s bail, which his defense team has argued is excessive.

Judge Says No To Drew, Bail Not Reduced

Drew Peterson is still going to need $2 million to get out of the Will County Adult Detention Facility. An Illinois Appellate Court refused to lower the $20 million bail for Peterson, who is awaiting trial on charges he murdered his third wife, Kathleen Savio, in 2004. Attorney Joel Brodsky said the defense team was “disappointed” by the court's decision after arguing the bail amount was excessive.
