Yikes. It sounds like someone took advantage of a woman being alone. There was no mention of a husband or boyfriend. Maybe some creep was outside waiting for the perfect opportunity, like in the case of Kelsey Smith. I sure hope I am wrong but I can't think of any other possibilities. I really don't think she'd just walk away if she was so thrilled about getting a raise at work.

I agree, and it was mentioned that she had planned a beach trip with her son.

The article said she was only in the grocery store for 5 minutes.

I'm wondering if someone at the bar at the Vieux Carre Lounge in McFarland Mall spotted her and followed her to the grocery store.

(from the first link).

Video surveillance is sure a help in cases that have that available, but it doesn't seem to be the case here.

TUSCALOOSA | Volunteers will comb areas of Tuscaloosa County this morning where they believe they might find evidence or remains of Lisa Ann Green.

Members of the nonprofit mounted search and recovery team Texas EquuSearch will work with volunteers from Randall-Reilly Publishing, where Green, who disappeared in late July, worked.

'If nobody searches for Lisa, she'll probably never be found,' said organization founder and director Tim Miller. His organization has been involved in more than 870 searches in the last eight years, he said, including the search for missing Mountain Brook teen Natalee Holloway in Aruba.

Holloway's mother, Beth Holloway Twitty, had plans to join searchers this morning. Miller was reluctant to say where the volunteers would search, for fear that someone may tamper with or move evidence.

The five teams combed the thick wooded landscape with the help of eyes in the sky. More manpower and volunteers are still needed. If you’d like to join the search for Lisa Ann Green you can join the searchers at the parking lot of Randall-Riley Publishing on Rice Mine Road Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m.

I've read the articles here a couple of times and still need help with a timeline if you guys don't mind.

She got off work
Went to a bar to visit a friend
Was only there for about 10 minutes
Was seen at her apartment complex around 5:00 pm
Called her dad around 8:20

Did she get off work, run by the bar to see a friend, then go home for a while, then go to the grocery store? Did she call her dad on the way to the grocery store?

What was she doing from 5:00 pm to 8:20?

Any help much appreciated :)

About the timeline.....her father said she came by after work, right? He said they talked for a bit and she saw her son. Then she left and went to the bar for an hour. After that she went by the grocery store for only five minutes and was never seen again.

Oh yeah, and she also went by her apartment after work too. So I'm not sure I have this timeline right. Also, I wonder what she purchased at the grocery and if they ever found the bag of items? Just wondering... [/*]

Thanks Sherry - I was trying to figure out in which order she did everything. Sounds like she went by to visit the dad, then went to the bar, then home? and back to the grocery store. I'd like to know if they have a record of her checking out also.

ETA - in rereading the articles, it says they have a photo of her entering the store - wonder why they don't have one of her leaving the store?
